We brought my daughter's beloved cat Nemo here for an illness. He was vomiting and we found out that he had a fever when we got there. ( He had a urinary blockage 2 weeks prior and we had to take him to an emergency veterinarian.) The doctor worked us in an hour after we called to take care of Nemo. We loved Dr. Michel and all of the ladies there. They kept Nemo for the day, gave him fluids to lower his fever, antibiotics and did testing. I had utmost confidence leaving Nemo there in their hands for treatment. We could tell that Dr. Michel and everyone there genuinely loved animals and had concern for our guy. They got him fixed up and we were able to bring him home later that day. We will be continuing Nemo's care here in the future. Thank you to Dr. Michel and all the staff!

Love the staff at Family Animal Care. Everyone is always incredibly friendly and they do their best to get my pup in when she needs to be seen.Most recently we had to board her… and both myself and Callie were nervous about how it would go. Kuta was AMAZING. She sent me photos and updates and made me feel so comfortable. Callie eventually warmed up and everything went great. I have taken all of my pets to Dr. Michel for many years now. I love her, her staff, her personality…& her passion for our animals. She's such a kind, cool, caring woman with a practical approach to my kids & their needs. Dr. Michael and her staff are phenomenal. They are responsive, friendly, and you can tell that they all love their jobs. I was able to take my sick puppy in first thing in the morning and they kept him to monitor him, which lets me know they care about every individual pet and want the best for the animals! We brought in our cat and three kittens after some complication after they were born and Family Animal Care allowed us to bring them in after a short phone call and saved my new additions to the family. Traveling and needed an urgent visit for our Boston Terrier. Called the office at 8 am and got appointment for 9 am. Dr Michel was very friendly, professional and experienced. She provided her expertise and handled the situation in a timely manner. She and office staff were very welcoming and helpful. The charge was surprising low compared to what we pay in Florida. Thank you!

We needed immediate help with our Lab Molly. They got us right in and were so gentle and caring to us and to her. It was an end of life situation and they made it as easy as they could. I was very impressed and so thankful. We received a card in the mail with her paw print. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were.

Very little knowledge about rabbits Dr also grabbed my bunny like a dog and tried to grab her from her ears ( she seemed a little scared of my bunny), which I was very upset about because I treat her like a baby specially because she’s a very old bunny and gets scared easily.Did not answer any of my questions and did not do a full well rabbit exam. Not very nice either I did actually liked her staff they are very nice.I did pay way less with my new vet at Town and country which is nice because they did prescribe medications and treatments answered my questions and made my bunny feel safe by handling her the right way.

Have been taking our dogs to Family Animal Care for over 20 years. Would not go anywhere else. Our dogs love doctor and her staff, and we ALWAYS receive the best care. Having a doctor and staff that genuinely care for your "family" members is priceless.

Dr Kendell Michel and her staff are awesome! My cats and dog are my children, and Dr. Michel and crew have taken very good care of them for many years. We highly recommend Family Animal Care to anyone looking for maintenance and critical care of their beloved pets.

My dog was acting very strange last night as if he had ate something he shouldn’t have we called all morning to try and get him in no answer. Finally after 20 calls someone answered the phone they said that they were too busy to know about my dog and why we were calling. They said take to town and country if it gets worse and that’s what we did and that’s were we will be taking our dog from now on.

I had a fire and my dog got smoke in her lungs and the clinic not only seen her got her back to health but did not charge me. I live now on the south side of town and must take a cab there to have my pets seen, but my loyalty to them is worth it, even living on ssi. The staff and doctors are caring wonderful people.

I love dr Michaels, however, it seems like every time I need to make an appt for my dog when he is sick or has a problem they can’t get ya in for 2 weeks. I’m really glad we don’t have a life threatening emergency! Still, a small problem with my fur baby can turn into a huge problem pretty quick. Sorry for the bad review Dr. Michael..Thank you for the response. It ended up by having to have him sedated to be able to fix his horribly torn toenail. Which I was to wait 2 weeks to have taken care of.I’m still a bit chafed, however, I will get over it. Jose loves Dr. Michael.

Traveling with our dogs, 1600 miles from home when our pup started coughing. Always a concern for kennel cough. Call on a Monday morning, scored a 10:30 appointment. Receptionist was wonderful. Vet was kind and caring. Thorough exam, no other symptoms, a few recommendations and we were on our way. Do I miss having a small family vet like this? You bet. Lucky you Salina!

We bring our lab here when we head out of town. She seems to love it and is in great shape when we come back to get her. We've asked her to tell us about how everything was while we were gone, but she hasn't figured out how to tell us yet!Seriously, we are very happy with the care we get here and wouldn't think of going to anyone else for our pets.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend this place for everyone. My family has been coming to this location since I can remember. (I’m 24 now so gives you an idea). Our family animals (2 dogs, 1 cat) all saw someone here. When it used to be owned by dr ewie was when I remember being there as well, all 16 and 15 years of my dog and cats life they were seen here, and our dog Petey (16) was put down by dr ewie at our home, and when they changed to family animal care, doctor michaels and staff took care and eventually put down my cat tiger (15) at our home as well. They currently care for our family dog soda, and since I have become independent they now see my own and my fiancé’s kitties bensyn and bowser. These people are the most wonderful people you’ll encounter for your animal, bensyn is 1 year old and yesterday she was taken in to get spayed, shots all that good stuff and I cried leaving cos she’s my baby, they assured me I can call for updates as often as I want and sure did! I called before surgery, they called right after, and I called again before closing and it was never an issue, they were understanding and didn’t act annoyed like some people do that I called so much. A few months ago we had our other cat bowser in and we were so anxious because she’s sensitive that they even let us come get her and take the urine kit home to get a sample, because they know how much we all love our babies. The only hands I put my animals in are hands I’d trust my own life to. I can’t stress it enough, good prices, good GOOD people, amazing work and just all around 10 10 10 10. We are going to get my little girl this morning (: TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE YOU WONT REGRET IT.

Dropped off the puppers at 9am let them know I was from out of town and would like updates almost 4pm not a word other than the Drs. Not in yet and oh the Dr just went to lunch. Poor dogs been throwing up since 2am.ive been calling all day and get no answers. Definitely not coming back
