I waited at the register for 10 minutes of so while there were no staff to be seen anywhere. Eventually a cashier came over to help the line that had been accumulating in her absence. She then blatantly refused to help me and told me to use self checkout, not just once but a second time after I was interrupted trying to explain that I wasn't sure if self checkout could be used for my transaction. (I needed to purchase nicotine and load money onto cashapp). I offered some profanity and left. It's one thing to have self checkout. It's an entirely different story for the cashier to use it as a means of refusing to do their jobs.But it's cool. If I *have* to do the work of a cashier who is refusing to offer customer service, it's not gonna be at dollar general. I will not return.

Placed my first online order. Went in 3 hours later at my pick up time. The cashier said never received an order, so I went to get everything I was charged for. Then the cashier said she had just gotten the order. She rang everything up. Then I was charged again. And told me it was up to me get my money back from the failed online order. Never once apologized. She acted like I inconvenienced her. I would not recommend any of the Dollar Generals in Salina Kansas. All of the cashier's that I interacted with were either rude or spun out.

Clerk was friendly and helpful from the moment I entered the store. She was understanding of my issues with multiple cards for one transaction and willing to work it out till the finish. Made me feel appreciated.

The old lady that way closing tonight (Feb. 27th) was very rude! She was very hateful upon checking out! Not the only occasion that she has done this! She needs to be fired! If she can’t give good customer service then why keep her? The younger lady there was extremely nice and very apologetic! As for my family and I we will be taking our business elsewhere! Very very bad experience with this lady!

I like this store because I needed help with something in the clothing department & one of the employees helped me out with what I was looking for. And it shocked me because I was exchanging an item from a size to big to the size I needed. I don't remember the lady's name but she was nice & had the generosity to do so....an time out of what she was doing to help me out with it..... I'm surprized that there's not a Dollar General Market out here in Kansas yet....

It's a Dollar general what else can you say about it they're always the same all the stuff's about in the same spot people are usually nice I usually never have any problems shopping here I didn't take pictures but yeah it's good.....

Newly remodeled store. Has three times as much stuff than before. So many items to choose from. They also have refrigerated and frozen items all down the North wall. Almost a Mini Wal-Mart. Friendly and helpful staff. 👍😃

Nice people but it was messy, needed more help. If the store is messy it's less appealing and the customer service can't do it all. Need to hire more help but don't cut down pay. Or, raise the pay, raise the pay. People like Dollar General. Yes, shop at Dollar General

Well it was just a quick and convient store 2 stop at but i generally go 2 this store on broadway they just made my stop n and go exactly that and possible so it was exactly the shopping experience i wanted and thats a big thumbs up 2 the store and its employees 4 thier hard work and quick checkout

This store closes tomorrow 10-12-19 & will reopen on Thursday 10-16-19.They are remodeling!!! They are adding coolers & freezers. There will also be a new home decor section

This store has easy handicap parking and is accessible. The store is pretty clean and service is good. It's pretty good for just a fast shopping trip. I'll go back.

It has everything that I need to get, stays open til 10pm, great prices and the service is by far the best on town. Broadway workers know what they are doing and what the store has to offer you.

Don't really care for DG because their prices are a little high. Even though you have would have to travel a little further, you would get a better quality product at a better price. DG is a neighborhood store that sells to people without transportation or who needs things 'right now' and their prices are $.50 to $1 and sometimes higher depending on the product. Myself personally, wouldn't recommend DG as a place to shop for anything quality worthy. BUT THAT'S ONLY MY OPINION!

I like Dollar General if I can get the stuff that I am looking for that's where I will probably go. I do not like large stores. So Dollar General is more convenient kind of like a Hometown Store I really enjoy it

A lady in front of me had 4 different debit cards trying to get them to work. She went to her car 2 different times. While every one in line waiting on her. If she didn't know the pin number I would be very suspicious of her.

This is probably the best Dollar General store I have been to. It's newer with a helpful staff. Organized, well stocked, and clean. Try it out!

I did this last week. Convenient, good prices, laundry soap, dish soap, etc. Cheaper than grocery stores. Staffs friendly!! Big D.G. fan!!

Not the best stocked store..another DG on Crawford st. About 3 miles away is much better stocked..both good in general though..nice employees...

I like to shop at places like this first .then for anything they dont happen to have I'll go to Walmart or another store. Stores like this is worth going to first if u have the time.

Dollar general is great if you need to get anything in a quick amount of time for a cheap price, you dont have to worry about a big line of people either.

The service is bad they had two people at the cash register but only uses one plus had alot of customers waiting because someone needed bug spray so everybody had to wait then after the line went down a lil bit then they opened up the other register
