This was the cleanest DG I've seen in Salina and yes it's the newest but it had a different feel to it and things were neat so you actually felt like you wanted to walk around. The staff was courteous and they took measures to protect against COVID-19. I liked the flooring and the store was larger than it looks from the outside. I don't visit these stores much but this one surprised me and I hope they can keep it clean for year to come to keep it an inviting place. The selection from food to accessories to house hold items were good.

If you haven’t noticed- all of the reviews are old. Customer service is awful. Pretty sure no background check or education is required to work here. They most definitely don’t drug test. Management is minimal at best. Nothing rings up right, and when you try to explain your receipt because you know it better than the employees, they just cuss you out and go back to their imaginary world. Don’t attempt to return anything, it must go back on a card, even if you don’t have the physical card, and you are a 15 year old kid who is doing a return on his way to work and definitely doesn’t have access to their parents card, but has a receipt, so you could just easily have given him the cash… Your return will appear magically! Eventually. Maybe. Hopefully. Not sure to where, but you definitely weren’t giving money to a (black) kid. Broadway or Crawford are much better stores. Even if they are a little crowded. The Marketplace is pretty nice, so far.

We love the store .We loved it more when it was Kings food.But overall we love David❤️.And the courteous ways he has treated our family over the years.Alright !!!Thank you David❤️.

I got an aux cable here for around 6.00$ when I really needed it and it made my day because it's really amazing having my own music. I go insane listening to the same songs on the radio or the same phoney politicians talk about how they are going to do something and then end up making everything worse off for everyone. Thank god for the aux cable.

The store out on 9th and broadway is bigger inside than it seems 2 appear from the outside my 1st time shopping at this specific store but was a nice and convient store had everything i needed and the employees were more than helpful and polite and friendly

Place to save some $$$. A lot of same things as groc. For less. Laundry, cleaning supplies. Paper products, food items, dog& cat supplies. Clerks are always nice!!

This little store has a LOT of selection. I ran in to get some generic Aleve & was impressed to see that theirs is close to half the price of my usual go to places.

The Dollar General on 9th St and Broadway doesn't have much of a selection in regards to frozen and cold food but is well stocked with other items I need.

Counldnt fiund any childrens clothing which was one of the things on my list however was able to find a few other things there cheaper then a few other places I've looked. Service was very friendly.

Unlike some stores that advertise they're open until 2200 .. these guys are ... Ran in at 2150 bcuz I needed last minute misc and they had what I needed ... I was expecting grouchy end of the day type individuals and they weren't lol ... Newer store .. and next to a pizza joint .... Win win 🖖🏼
