Normally I have had a good experience with this store, but tonight was a joke. The person at the window doesn't know how to talk, I guess. No hello or thank you or anything from the person working the register. I received no receipt after my payment. The two blizzards I ordered were not served upside down due to the fact they were like cups of milk. No apology or anything. Most likely will not return here. Do NOT recommend.

Nice neighborhood ice cream 🍦 shop! Very happy that Dairy Queen corporate kept this location for the people of the North end of Salina. My son and I can get ice cream on a hot day within walking distance. And yesterday was a little warm but enjoyable. My son's Sundae and my Royal Cheesecake Blizzard were very good! The Staff at this location made it just like in the pictures in the menu. I would recommend this place highly!

We sat in the waiting area outside and ordered two chicken bites, a blizzard and a smoothie. Chicken was overpriced and pieces were cold, the wrong chips were given with one combo, and they only gave one fork.We sat and ate the chicken and waited at least 20 minutes before asking if they were still working on the icecream/drink. They asked for the receipt and were oblivious to the fact they were missed.Not impressed :/

I go to this Dairy Queen on north iron a lot until today. They took our blizzard orders and then when we pulled up to the window they didn’t have my blizzard and claimed we didn’t pay for one of my child’s blizzards. Mind u we only ordered 4 blizzards. This child that was about 12 years old came to the window and said we didn’t pay for one of the blizzards and my blizzard wasn’t even on the ticket!! How did they not charge me for my sons blizzard when it was on the receipt!!!! I told the child that was 10-12 yrs old they could keep my blizzard and we still had to pay for the other blizzard they claimed wasn’t paid for and refused to give me my receipt . STOP HIRING UNDER AGE CHILDREN WHO R NOT MATURE TO EVEN HELP LET ALONE READ AND COUNT!!!!!

I ordered a chocolate banana peanut butter blizzard. I'm not sure what nut I bit into but I think it was pecans throughout. Not happy at my order and no time to go back and wait since it was the drive thru. I was pressed for time. At almost 100 degrees this was my treat to myself after a hot day. My little satisfying treat was not satisfying. Very disappointed they couldn't read and make the simple order correctly at $6 wasted.

Lady working said we couldn’t make two different orders. Then we went to use the app for a coupon and she said she couldn’t take that either. Hope the ice cream is good. (Didn’t serve the blizzards upside down. )

Would have given it a 0 if it was an option. Couldn’t do two orders like we wanted and wouldn’t take our $1 off of blizzard that we had on our app!! Come in Dairy Queen. You can do better. Took forever to get our order.

I haven't been here in a while and decided I wanted a shake. The service was excellent. The girl working the drive thru was so patient with me and very pleasant. I ordered a PB shake and it was the right consistency and great flavor. We also ordered the dream dipped cone. I would recommend this location because of the service and the cleanliness of the outside of the business. Keep up guys your doing great!!!!!

With this particular Dairy Queen the food and ice cream and never an issue more so than the service. The staff is never unfriendly or rude to customers by any means, but it's quite obvious that they're not very attentive to their jobs. Many orders could probably speed up significantly if they were to just pay attention to what they're doing instead of chattering to each other.

Worst experience at a Dairy Queen we’ve ever had. Got charged $3 for a water, the person working thought that’s what it cost then blamed not being able to find the water button on his computer and his manager was on the phone and would not help.

Love Dairy Queen and have always come to this one. But for some reason I had to wait in the drive through for 10 mins waiting on someone to come through. If they were busy they could have said “thank you for choosing Dairy Queen I’ll be right with you” but instead nothing very unprofessional

Service at this location has declined horribly in the two years I've been away from Salina. Slow service and passive aggressive when they make a mistake in your order, which has happened the three times we've been since moving back. I'm not sure if they are too short staffed which leads to them taking their frustrations out on customers, not paid enough to care about doing a good job, or simply do not want to work there but the attitudes put a damper on our fun family outings. We'll stick to Braum's for our weekly ice cream visit, even if it's not as close to us.

Absolutely horrible!!! The kids that work there are super rude, wouldn’t give a receipt, and the ice cream was super grainy. I’ve worked fast food with an ice cream machine and that means it’s not being cleaned properly. I got a large sundae and it there was hardly any ice cream. No manager on the site to talk to and the kids thought it was funny. very unprofessional and will let people know that’s not the place to go!

My dad goes into this dairy queen almost every day before he rides his bike to work. Since Monday there have been ads on commercials advertising buy one blizzard get the second one for .99 I told him about it and he went in the next day and came home that night and said he got 2 blizzards that were one of the new flavors. The Oreo fudge and he said that there was no sign advertising buy one get one for .99. So then the next day (yesterday) he went back to the same dairy queen and got one Oreo fudge and one chocolate covered cherry blizzard and they charged him regular price for those too. So I called them fifteen minutes ago and asked them if they are participating in the special. She informed me that they were. I told her about my dad having to pay full price and that there were no signs there. The young woman on the phone then informed me that her manager said that you have to REQUEST for the discounted price. There was no apology. There was no attempt to rectify the situation to keep the very loyal customer happy and returning I know it may be trivial and not that big of a deal but my opinion of this company has severely went downhill.

Worst service EVER.. waited 45m for two drinks there was only one person ahead of me and two ppl in the drive through.. The large orange Julius was so tart I got a refund and no apology for the wait or the drink tasting like trash.. Waste of money and definitely our time .. This is what's wrong with the world these kids have no morals no manners.. Hopefully the manager Melanie can do something about it..🤬 this would be negitive 5 stars 4 me

I ordered 2 vanilla ice cream cones. One for me and one for my daughter. The total amount was $3.46. I handed him $3.51. He said "here is your penny back". I took it back and he never have me change back. It was only. 04 so I wasn't too worried about it. The moral of the story is that people need taught how to count back change. Other than that the cones were good

Got a cotton candy blizzard. I always taste what I get, because they’re not ever the same. Tasted like vanilla ice cream... for $5, when I could have gone to Casey’s and spent $1... told him it tasted like vanilla ice cream, he says guess he didn’t put enough cotton candy in it 🙄 if I would have drove off and then tasted it I would’ve been really pissed. It’s not that hard to follow a direction sheet, put that amount of ingredients in, and make it that way. I miss my old town dq.... oh and please make enough of the cotton candy, so you don’t run out like every year..
