The store was very clean. The shelves were full of products that looked nice. My only problem was that the cashier was not very nice and she was kind of rude. Otherwise it was a great shopping trip!

I think Big Lots gets overlooked for what they offer. We're never disappointed with what we buy. Nice people there.

I was with my friend looking around a little, and something traumatic happened to my friend. Ifeel/felt so bad and the staff kept telling me that it wasn't my fault. My friend and I really appreciate the way the staff handled the situation. They were very understanding and knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do in the emergency that my friend and I were in. Thank you so much for being such a good store. The staff are fantastic.

Lots of things out of order. The cash register attendant was super nice! Prices are high for the products they have. I didn't really find any huge sales or discounts. The air conditioning wasn't working apparently it's controlled by the mother corporation in Minnesota . Those poor staff!

When I went to buy my items the lady was so friendly and helpful. Bot sure how she did it, but helped a older lady get something off the top shelf and got back to me before I reached the register. I would go back just for the customer service.

Super rude managers. I was in there a couple of times recently, and both times, encountered very nasty managers (not employees. The employees are always kind--maybe a bit nervous-- and I've never had an issue.)Yesterday, a female manager started sniping at the very friendly young man who was checking out my items. She started to go off on him for having merchandise lying around, some which was mine, and one thing that wasn't. Two workers were having issues with a sale at the far end of the registers and the young man had clearly signed on the register he was using to help check out while the others were working on their issue.1. The young man was doing fine. He was great, as a matter of fact.2. The manager was a shrew who was clearly on a power trip and needed to be taken down a few pegs. I hope the main manager sees this, and speaks to her/his assistant managers.3. If she thought she was impressing me, she wasn't.It's sad, because Big Lots is a great store & I've always loved shopping there. A bad attitude can ruin the whole experience, & it did yesterday. In this economy after COVID hit us, it's hard for businesses to keep workers as it is, without rude managers driving them away. It's just simple common sense. BE KIND.

The Experience wasn't bad. Their prices were Fair compared to most other smaller chain businesses. The only downside is that they don't carry bread or baby diapers anymore and their milk is about double the cost of most other locations otherwise everything else was fine. The building was clean the employees were helpful.

Trying to buy furniture in a pandemic... It has definitely been challenging. I went to seven other places before stopping here. I went immediately back to the furniture section and was told that they have limited options however, had a few sets in stock. I chose what they had and was happy with my decision. Customer service is excellent. Happened to shop when they were having a sale! Bonus! My only complaint, the Lane recliner already has issues after 1 month of having it. The furniture looks good but the quality needs improvement. I'm just thankful that I found something. Hoping I can figure out how to fix this recliner without having to haul it back in.

Staff friendly. Elderly couple managed to walk in on very hot day. When they realized they forgot masks, I could hear them talking about whether they should go back. I told them to stay put I'd go to my car and get them some (new masks, always carry spares). Gave them mask and staff assured us they would not have asked them to leave. Thought that was kind and appropriate. The store was not crowded and everyone else had their masks on. But now they could mosey around without stares and comment.

Long story short I was told by two clerks that it was a 20 percent off day, spent quite long time choosing purchase only to find out after paying for stuff and going over receipt that it wasn't. The man acting as manager, I won't be as rude as he was and mention his name, offered no apologies and was rude as i had to take more time returning it all. I didn't know they could afford to loose such a large sale

I have been to a Big Lots in Topeka before the holidays and never seen such a mess! When we went to the Salina one it was clean, there were plenty of associates around and everyone was so nice! The well trained cashier let us know about a buy one get one half off, which helped our purse and took another item off our list. Plus she had us sign up for a rewards card! Great place, I would definitely recommend it!

Went to buy a cheap made and priced end table. They definitely have cheaply made furniture, but for the same prices as good furniture stores!Don't waste your time thinking you're getting a good price.

This is one of the larger Big Lots stores which is nice because they carry a huge amount of food items along with personal care and household goods. They also have a rewards program that gives great discounts and even the occasional freebies. I like this store a lot.

I always stop at Big Lots when i am in the Salina area! I love their deals and I always find things I need (and don't need but is nice to have!) The employees are always so friendly and helpful and their shopping area and restroom is always clean!

This store is much better than the last location it would be great if all the stuff that was in it had prices on it that way you would know if you wanted to buy it or not I think the store is understaffed but would probably be properly staffed if everything was priced since everything isn't price every time you want to buy something that doesn't have a price tag on it you have to find somebody that works there to find out how much it cost makes it very difficult to buy something from anywhere if you don't know what it's going to cost harder to put in the cart if you don't know what you're doing price-wise you know what I mean
