We have taken our two dogs to Always Home for awhile. Our lab that we've had since she was a puppy has been going for almost 3 years and that first year was wonderful. Never had any problems. The first problem we had came up a little over a year ago. She was injured during her stay here. I was not informed of her injury. She was running and hit a post so hard it broke skin. She had a large gash I found once she was home. I called immediately and was told that the front desk was supposed to inform me of her injury upon her pick up. We did not feel comfortable taking her back as often as she had been going after this. A few months after this incident, we had dropped her off over July 4th weekend and we were not informed of the increased prices for the holiday, so we ended up paying much more than we had budgeted for. I understand increasing rates, but I believe we should have been told prior to dropping her off. In February of 2022 we adopted an adult German Shepherd and took the two of them once with no issues. Recently we took them for one overnight and one day. I needed to attend a funeral and had no other options. My boyfriend picked them up. After I returned home the next day, my German Shepherd had a large abscess on his cheek that required medical attention from a veterinarian, it appeared as though he had been bitten. There was a puncture wound. My lab also had a large scab in between her eyes, right in the middle of her face. Today I was inspecting it, and she has been using her paw to scratch it and now has a bald spot on her face. Aside from their injuries, they also lost our leash this time. We had to make a special trip out to their facility just to pick up the leash they lost. We will no longer see Always Home as an option, even in desperate situations.

Too many dog fights. They don't separate the dogs enough. My dog as well as friends dogs have been hurt here. Will never use this place again. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Never going back! I called to check on my dog and they said all was good and that he was having fun. Right after I called my friend went to check on him and drop off more food. My dog was limping and all four paws were bleeding. Probably from running on concrete too long. They should have been honest and told me he was hurt. They should have paid more attention to my dog, because the limp was obvious! My friend picked up my dog and headed to the vet for treatment! I cried for days and felt so bad for taking my dog there. They said they would help pay some of the vet bill, but never did. I would never recommend this place.

Our goldendoodle, Otis, is always so excited to go to daycare. His tail starts wagging as soon as we turn in the drive and he practically pulls me in to Always Home! We are so glad we have found this outlet for him while we are at work.

I had no idea there was a doggy daycare that did not use kennels or crates! All the dogs are socially screened and play together in an open playground! My Opie doesn't even miss me when I'm gone... No separation anxiety! The indoor room has many dog beds and they sleep where they want after a day of romping, chasing bubbles, interactive games and more. Peggy and the staff are super and Opie is excited to be with them. I have never felt so good while being away! The prices are great and the boutique is adorable! Always Home is located just outside of town where it's country quiet and the stars light the night. There's no place like Always Home!

My dog Jessie and I LOVE Always Home Pet Services! We have just moved to a small apartment in Salina from a three bedroom house in the country. My one and a half year-old, extremely energetic and active Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix was having a hard time adjusting. That is when I looked into doggy daycare for her while I am at work. The staff is very welcoming and kind. They greet her by name every day I drop her off. They tell me that she is constantly playing with the other dogs and is always in the pool! When we get home she is soooo tired and takes a nap which is something that was rare before! We are so grateful for Always Home Pet Services and highly recommend it for anyone looking into doggy daycare!

We have taken our Whoodle [wheaten terrier poodle mix] to Alway Home whenever we are going on a trip. Last week we were dropping Willis off when I realized I forgot our leash. Willis jumped out of the back car door and ran for the building he was so excited. Once inside he ran for the door to go outside with his dog friends. He absolutely loves it there and is so taken care of. We've done Rover and had some good sitters but now that we have used Always Home we won't take Willis any where else! Your dog will thank you and the humans can rest easy knowing their dog is in great care.

We have used Always Home Pet Services several times in the last couple of months. They have friendly staff and a clean facility. My dogs enjoy going and are excited when we pull up to drop them off. I would highly recommend their services.

The staff is very friendly and happy to answer questions. My dog Lulu is excited to go to Always Home and it has helped her socialization. When I pick her up she is tired from her busy day. I feel it was a good decision to use their services instead of leaving her at home all day. Great place!

I called to see about boarding my two dogs over Thanksgiving weekend. I spoke with Peggy (owner) who told me we would need to do a “ meet and greet” before boarding the dogs. She scheduled a time with me to leave my dogs.I brought them at the agreed upon time and the employee took them back to play with other dogs that were there and get an idea of the dogs temperament. After this was over (30 minutes) he told me that my dogs would be a good fit and he had “no reservations” about them boarding here. I then filled out the required paperwork and put a request in for boarding.That same evening I received a call from Peggy (owner). She proceeded to tell me how I did not follow protocol and should not have taken my dogs home so soon. She was loud and hostile over the phone and told me that this was not her procedure. She said the employee was new and didn’t know they needed to stay. ( I guess the customer is supposed to know more about the process than the employee) she was so hostile and rude!! At one point, the person who was sitting next to me said, “who is yelling at you?”.I just did what her employee told me to do.If I am treated this way as a new and potential long-time customer, I can only imagine how my fur babies would be treated. No thank you! I don’t need this kind of hostility in my life especially, if I have to pay for it. Very disappointing!!!

Always Home Pet Sitting is the best animal day care in the state of Kansas, and I highly recommend them. Peggy and her group do a wonderful job. They give such kind and compassionate care to all animals. The areas where the animals stay are so clean, and it is so nice to visit Peggy’s beautiful home.I have 2 cats, Winnie-the-Pooh and Tigger, who love to come here. They get to play with a small dog named Wolfie, who is blind. Wolfie has a special job here. He is so welcoming to all new animals and makes them feel right at home. Wolfie is very loving and kind, just like Peggy and her group. I highly recommend them.

I have three dogs and Peggy and her team have been taking care of them for me for many years. Peggy is beyond trust worthy and dependable. I couldn't imagine anyone other than Peggy and her team taking care of my dogs. I highly recommend Always Home Pet Sitting whether you need home visits or plan to board them it is always a fabulous experience.

I have a rescue dog that didn't have a good start in life. When I adopted him he didn't know how to play. I had to teach him. He would play with me but didn't know how to play and mix with other dogs. Taking him to Always Home was a blessing. It's been a slow process but he's learning to interact with other dogs. I have a special collar I use when I take him out to Always Home. His tail begins to wag because he knows he's going to meet his new friends and have a good time. The staff has been wonderful with him. They've been patient and kind and he has responded to their loving care. This is the best thing I ever did for my little guy!

I take my dog Archie here and it’s fantastic, he’s always so excited to go and has a good time playing with his furry friends. They do enrichment exercises and take care of your dog. I can always ask staff how he did and they know exactly what’s going on. Staff tell me who he played with and what they did. He actually scrambles to get inside when we pull up. lolDidn’t realize I already posted a review awhile back, but I still feel the same way.

I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is! I unexpectedly went into labor with my son and had to drop my high energy, high maintenance dog off with little notice. My son unfortunately had to stay in the NICU for 6 days after birth and we were not expecting this. Due to covid we could not leave the hospital and had to rely on always at home. We didn’t have enough food and had no idea when we were coming home. They took such good care of our dog and took off so much stress. My pup came home the most relaxed and tired he has ever been (which was wonderful considering how tired we all were). They are just wonderful

Always Home Pet Services takes excellent care of our dog, Winston. It is obvious that they spend time with the animals, allow them to play, and get to know them. Winston is always very tired when he comes back home which shows us that he had a GREAT time. I could not recommend them more!

I know my dog is safe and happy at Always Home. If she hasn't gone in a while, she gets very demanding about going. It's nice having the day option for long work days or the overnight option for going out of town. I love going to pick up my exhausted happy dog!

Have used a few times for over nights. Never had an issue. Went to schedule an overnight and wife told won't take a dog over 7 months if not neutered. Wow. Well won't be using anytime soon.

I really love this doggy daycare. We’ve been wanting our dog to play with all sizes of dogs and this daycare does this. I’m so glad he enjoys his time here and he loves the staff. I would recommend taking your dog here as long as they are used to playing with other dogs.

Murphy loves going to Always Home! They have a large area for him to run. He comes home exhausted. A tired dog is always a good dog!🐶 Staff is fabulous and Murphy just can’t wait to get out of the car when we arrive! Best place to treat my dog to a few hours of play or to leave overnight.

Our dog barks at me to hurry when we drive up to Always Home Pet Services. He loves to go there. There are plenty of activities, outside and inside to entertain all the dogs. The staff is always friendly and the supervision of the dogs is very good. Scooter highly recommends it!

Simply excellent. We could not have asked for better care of our dogs and birds. One dog had a medical crisis while we were gone and Peggy took care of everything. I have been bringing my dogs here for 1 1/2 years and I wouldnt trust them with anyone else. Peggy and her staff have always been great with them, and my dogs get so excited when they see us headed that way. I would highly recommend them, whether it's for a few hours or overnights.

Augie loves going to Always Home pet service. He actually gets excited when he knows he’s going to what we call Camp. They always follow our directions if he needs pills or extra attention. We really appreciate everything they do.

Sarge and Harley love coming here. Peggy and her staff are amazing. They enjoy staying overnites and Harley loves coming every week for one full day of day care. Well supervised very clean. Wouldnt go any where else.
