When I'm on the road I like to find these little unique to the area, truck stops that are out of the way and feel safe kind of vibe. There was a few spots parking in a family a nice little secure spot. I nestled against the front of the building between two semis. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a really nice dining Cafe practically in the parking lot called Russell's. Excellent food and service. I highly recommend it. The store was very clean and neatly stocked with a wide assortment of merchandise. They had stuff for truckers, general public and souvenirs for The Travelers. The restrooms were exceptionally clean. The employees were very friendly. I guess my only complaint or suggestion would be that they had some kind of hot food offerings. A lot of us OTR drivers always like a little something something, unique, tasty and hot. If this was Texas where I'm from there would be a Taqueria in it but they have overdone them in Texas. A little Grill would be really cool. I'm always grateful to the people who run these small truck stops for giving us a place to park and sleep so I try to patronize them and spend some money with him. Thank you for providing for us because I know that putting up with some of nasty truckers who throw s*** out everywhere must be hard. I'm not talking about all Truckers because I am one but those who have no respect.

I am there every weekday morning, I grab a cup of Hot Chocolate on the cold morning days and a water, then later in the day another water and maybe a fresh hotdog, they have wonderful customer service. A couple weeks ago Kim that works there helped this young girl get the keys out of her car that got locked. They are always smiling and very helpful. Great place to go.

Wanted to let people know that this store went above and beyond for me yesterday afternoon. My daughter had locked the keys in her car while getting fuel and I was over an hour away. I called and talked to Barb the general manger today to get the names of the lady’s that helped my daughter. They were Misty and Kim I am so grateful for these ladies they purchased a kit to unlock my daughter’s car. I ask my daughter to repay the lady that brought the kit but she would not take the money. There are not to many people that would have done this in the world today I really appreciate what they did and thank them so much. We stop at this store every time we go to Salina and will continue to do so. Just wanted to let the owners of this store know that they have great employees that go above and beyond to help people. Again I am so thankful for there help

I was driving thru during a storm and stopped in to regroup, the store was clean and ALL the staff were so helpful, especially this bubbly blonde lady behind the desk!! Thanks again whomever you are but my day was brightened due to you and this place! Little deeds matter!

The parking lot is pretty big and filled with trucks parked while the drivers get some sleep. We pulled in to get a fountain drink, something to eat and a charger for our phones.As soon as we walked into the entrance there was so much to look at and buy. Every wall, rack and shelf was full. The store also looked clean, even the bathrooms were clean and smelled good. After looking around a bit, we chose our food items, grabbed some drinks and a charger.The cashier scanned our items on the other side of the plexiglass, we paid and left for the truck. Then we found out we had the wrong charger so my husband went back in. The cashier had no clue how to do returns so my husband went to get the right charger and told him to subtract the price of the other charger.I'm guessing this cashier was new...it didn't look like he had help. My husband came back to the truck with the correct charger but forgot to get cigarettes. So a third time in the store then we were done and ready to get back on the right. The service is good here, they just need to train the employees better before leaving them in the store alone.

This place is my go to for gas. I will pass 8 gas stations in town just to go get gas from them. They are extremely friendly and professional there.
