Why even post that masks are required if you're not going to enforce it? I get that the county isn't requiring it, but I wouldn't have gone in if I knew that I was going to be the only one in the store wearing one. Some people rely on the stores that require them right now. Not to mention that the store felt really dirty. Won't be giving this place any more business.

I do indeed love this store and most the stores workers are very polite understanding people. However today I felt unwelcome by the attitude that the cashier on register one had. Then I found out that she was the Assistant Manager. No wonder this store franchise is continously having to hire new people with management like this. honestly after our interaction I was in no hurry to stick around.

I like the layout of the store since the remodel. I’ve always been able to find everything I need. Employees are nice and attentive except for one. She seems to think she has to have a smoke break every time the registers get busy so she doesn’t have to check anyone out.

This is the better of the two stores in town, I think. Isles not near as cluttered, usually unless you catch them when they’re unloading their truck. Even then it’s no where near as bad as the other store. Products here usually stocked up and everything marked clearly and accurately.

It is a handy place to find reasonably priced needs. I needed a tape measure to use for sewing. I found one here. We have no fabric shop. It is a drive to within a half hour from us for sewing supplies. We can order online but that takes days.

This is the bigger Dollar General in Russell. They're usually well stocked, the people are nice and they usually have what I need. TBH, their string cheese sticks are totally awesome. Absolutely random, but absolutely good.

The south side Dollar General is the best in Russell, my opinion it is a waste of time going in the North side Dollar General they never have anything. And is it just me or are the ppl nicer and much more professional at the south side store. Love Mike....

Gentlemen at the register is very attentive. The store is usually tidy. Easy to find what you are looking for. It is precisely the best dollar store, and far better than many local convenient shops. I recommend you go and see it.

I like the low prices - but be prepared to wait in line forever! There is NEVER more than 1 cashier on duty. Be prepared to stand in line 15 minutes or more!!!
