This late night kitchen worker took 45 minutes to make a simple plain pepperoni pizza and post it for pickup on DoorDash. I go in to pick the order up myself and ask why it took 45 minutes to make a pizza and he got all huffy with me and said he’s throwing my (already paid for) pizza away. Lazy is the best word to describe him. Lady behind the counter was nice. (she’s probably fed up with him too, as she didn’t look a bit surprised when I mentioned his lengthy pizza making) shortly after my order, he also “threw away” my buddies order without posting his to DoorDash for pickup either. My best guess is he got to take our pizzas home as a punishment to us for ordering them past 9pm. What a joke. Ethnic guy, darker complexion. Appeared to be late 40s early 50s. Missing teeth and looking like a ran-through tweaker.

I do not post much, but I wanted to give this store credit. We pulled up to get gas (running on empty) to find out that the whole town was out of power. The employees at the store were awesome and brought out ice water and snacks for us and our dog while we waited.

The staff are all pretty nice people and the manager Fran is off the charts an Amazing woman. The whole kitchen crew really pulls together to make it work. The pizza is wonderful and if your lucky enough to have one made by Mathaniel or James your heads will roll.! Keep up the good work Casey's!

Called in pizza. Said it was going to take 25min. Went to go pick up my pizza guy went to the back to go grab it then came back and said it was going to take 30 more minutes I asked "what did they forget to put it in?!" and he said I don't know what's going on back there....so I come back after 30 more minutes and one of my pizzas has the wrong topping on it. I tell them that it's wrong but not what's wrong just so I can find out if they wrote my order down wrong or if it was just because of incompetents. It was the latter. They said they wouldn't charge for that pizza (i was not going to get that one nore that i wanted it anyways)and I asked if they was going to make the right one and cashier said he didn't know (I said well go find out!). He said yes. I said well is it going to take 30 more minutes.no only takes like 2 minutes to put together and 10 to bake... so still had to pay for a pizza and it took an average of 1hr and 15min to feed my family.

The cashier's are not that friendly, but the management is good! I do believe if corporate would allow management to pay good cashier's more they could keep good staff I've lived here a few years have seen good cashier's leave because they worked for years with very little pay raise.

Today 6-14-20 approximately 4:00PM I called to place an order through the kitchen to get a large pizza half breakfast and half chicken bacon ranch, the male worker who I believe works in the kitchen was extremely rude saying they cannot make due to cross contamination, I know first off that’s not a thing due to working there before and then them both being dairy products, and then he rudely says well we are out of ranch anyway, I can’t make it after he rants about the cross contamination aspect, and then I call At approximately 10:14PM to place an order which I have made an order this late before, and the same male staff from the kitchen answers the phone, and I ask to place an order please and he rudely says the kitchen is closed and slams hangs up abruptly. I like the food there but the service is extremely poor in Russell, KS.

We like the pizza but lately every time we've tried to order nobody answers the phone. They're not closed. It's 7:00 p.m. I went into the store and ordered one time. The others I just ordered from somewhere else.

This place shouldn’t even be aloud to serve food. The restroom was extremely dirty. There were cockroaches all over in it. Floors throughout the entire building looked as if they hadn’t been swept in months. Clerks customer service was very poor.

Some of the best Pizza ever made here, in a gas station. The workers are pretty cool and its the least expensive convenience store anywhere near my location.

I've been into this store one time and can see why they get bad reviews. Cashier was very unfriendly and walked off into the back room leaving me standing at the counter waiting. **** 'em, I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Im from montana.....i stay in Russel about 4-5 tmes a year...I use to really like it......but that was before christmas night...no restayranrs open of any kind....no stores ope. But one.....Caseys country store....hungry cold tired.....got my usual room at Russel Inn......great place nice people friendlist folks in town.... and they are originally from India.....so Caseys is it...(Mcdonalds is not even open)....went in was surprised a little deli....well the lady cooking when i put my orderbin said it would be a couple hours till she had um done....there werd 3 sluces of old pizza in the display case....i got um.....nasty.....the cook could have cared less i was stuck away from home on Christmas....in fact at least one restaurant should have been open ...Russel is on I-70.....there were several travelers riding around looking for something to eat....from now on i will make the drive into Hays............i dont know what i expected really.....just had more faith in Kansas folk i guess....Sure didnt expect rude treatment.....a little compassion for travelers would be nice!...
