I have eaten at Louis on at least 3 occasions while stopping off in Rose Hill Ks. Have never been disappointed. Louis specializes in a verity of home style hamburgers which is pretty common out here on the plains. So for his burgers and fries to be as good as they are and not leave you broke is worth the 40 min. drive from S W Wichita to get one.

Best place to eat in the entire Wichita area. If you're in the area, stop to eat here. The food is unparalleled. Best blackened salmon, red beans & rice, and fried okra we've ever eaten. Anywhere. The special was a cajun dish with farm fresh vegetables (it was authentic, spicy, and absolutely phenomenal). The burgers are juicy, delicious, and cooked to perfection. The fries and chicken tenders were crispy, seasoned perfectly, and also delicious. We will return here again and again and again. (You should, too!)

I tried Louis Rose Hill Cafe with a friend on his recommendation, and I definitely was not disappointed! I ordered a double Bob's Blaze burger and the corn fritters as a side. The two 1/3 lb hamburger patties made a huge and delicious burger! I had bacon added to it, which really put it over the top! The corn fritters were very tasty as well! I definitely recommend trying this small town cafe. The hospitality is amazing here, and they seem to stay pretty busy! I will definitely be back to try more of their menu items!

My parents and I made an impromptu stop here for dinner. Louis' did not disappoint! Staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. This is a call-in or walk in to take out or order at the counter and dine in. We had the meatloaf dinner with onion rings and broccoli, the chicken fried steak with mash & gravy and the pork BBQ sandwich. We also ordered the corn fritters and fried okra. Portions were very decently sized. Food came out quickly and hot! Broccoli was steamed, not overcooked, mash and gravy were homemade and delicious. The pork BBQ sandwich was a nice size portion, with a tangy sauce just enough without drowning the pork and killing the bun. The corn fritters and fried okra were outstanding! Some of the best Ive ever had! Cooked perfectly, seasoned wonderfully! Highly recommend Louis!Parking: Easy parking, fairly large lotWheelchair accessibility: No steps, flat floor, bathroom is close, but door is not very wide.

This place is great. Great food and great prices. Kind of a real life Bob's Burgers sort of feel lol (except Louis actually stays busy with customers). My only complaint is that they changed the bun they use on their blue moon burger. They started using what I believe is a sourdough bun on it instead of the regular (white bread?) bun they were using. It doesn't sound like just that would make that big of a difference but it's not nearly as good now in my opinion. Big sad. :(Parking: Ample parking available.

DELICIOUS spot! Traveling through town for work and stopped here for a late lunch. I got the Single Santa Fe burger (picture) with fries. Food was cooked perfectly, staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean! I will be back with friends and family!

This local Cafe doesn't disappoint. Took long way home from Wichita-Winfield. Highly recommend Meatloaf w/brown gravy & real mashed potatoes. Might want to add more gravy. You can never have to much brown gravy! Colorful Salad w/red 🍅 tomatoes was fresh. Always enjoy conversations as Restaurant quickly fills up. If the locals & multigenerations pack in, you know it's a great place.Kid-friendliness: Wonderful seeing Grandparents bringing in grandkids for Mon. Night Supper. Saw young family w/Fireman Dad pushing infant son in stroller so Mom could have a few bites. There's highchairs & no one rolls their eyes when Lil' ones get tired or restless. This is a genuine small town FAMILY Cafe.

Hands down the best small town burger joint my wife and I have ever been too! I got the Double Hickory Bacon Cheeseburger with a side order or their fries, they don’t skimpt on their portion sizes either oh no no no!! Let me tell you if my eyes didn’t taste that cheeseburger before my tastebuds could even get a chance! Hands down recommend this to anyone living in the rosehill area or just passing on by!

Affordable and tasty, too. Burgers didn’t look like anything special…then I tasted it! Oh, my!! I got the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings (real, homemade ones) this time around.Had to wait a bit when we went but it was busy. Still worth it. Cheese fries were good, too.Nothing fancy here….just good, tasty homemade food, generous portions, and the price is downright cheap! Friendly staff, too. Definitely worth the short drive.

The food is very good.The dine in experience was one We will not repeat. The dining room was inexcusably dirty, which then leaves a person to question the cleanliness of the kitchen. I'm reading some negative mess on here and I'm stunned. Louis' is as kind and generous a person as there is!As for the food, anyone that thinks the burger or fry is bland doesn't know what they are talking about. The food is AMAZING and diverse, just like Chef!The Cajun burger got me good, and I am one that likes spicy stuff! I can't wait to try the fish! Love the Hickory Burger, Bob's Blaze (don't be soft if you bite into it!), and Blue Moon Burger.The fries with his seasoning, WOW!!!! And the days he fires up chicken pot pie or cajun... can't beat it!Louis' worked hard to keep prices low and stay in business during the Covid mess, and food cost went sky high and became scarce from suppliers. I have been there when supplies told him x, y, or z wasn't available to get, and Louis' found a way to source the needed items and keep it going!Sometimes, you get what you give in this world, but Louis' is a stand up guy and the Rose Hill community loves him and his food!

Small town but better than big town burgers! You won't leave hungry but you may leave wanting more. The crew here is spot on, very friendly, well trained, and the best in 50 miles of any direction and if you don't believe me then come in and try it for yourself. I'm a burger guy but I'll be trying other things as the clock ticks on. Prices are also reasonable for the quantity. No complaints here.

It's so hard to find a good burger these days especially one you can get quickly. Louis Cafe in Rose Hill hits it out of the park with Quality and they are pretty Quick! The burger just melts in your mouth! I got the Cajun Blaze and it has just a little spice to it so the flavoring is just perfect! You can taste the meat and the spice . Not to mention the prices are super reasonable imagine paying McDonalds prices for a better burger than 5 Guys thats what its like at Louis Cafe🙌 This place is a hidden gem! Highly recommend!!!!

I had the mushroom hamburger with fries. Nice size burger and very generous serving of fries. You order at a window and then they bring your food to you. It looks small from the outside, but quite a bit of seating. Will definitely stop again when in Rose Hill.

I was so excited to try a small town diner. (I was warned that Rose Hill was an awful town) The two employees behind the counter couldn't even say hello and made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. They treated us like it was an inconvenience to put the cell phones down and cook a burger (I never did hear the hands being washed). The place was filthy. Dirty tables, dirty floors, I can only imagine what the kitchen looked like. Food was okay (if you like salt in the meat). I would not recommend.
