People love Riley Cafe. They come from all over for the delicious food. The best part is all the specials they have each day. Mondays is random day. You'll never know what you'll get but you can bet your bottom dollar that it'll be good. My favorite part is they make the French fries fresh.

We absolutely LOVED having Celebration Cakes make our wedding cake and cupcakes. They were both so good! They were awesome to work with and made the process effortless! They made around 350 cupcakes and they were SO yummy! They worked so hard for us and we could never thank them enough. I would highly recommend them for any occasion!

Very disappointing experience at Riley's.For $12.99 lunch, one would assume that the chicken fried chicken would be palatable. Nope, not here.The fake potatoes were a watered down , sorry excuse pile of flavorless filler.The chicken , like the potatoes, lacked the flavor, portion size, and belly filling substance that any rational person would expect from a small town dinner.If Riley's want to please customers they should consider removing the chicken fried chicken lunch special altogether.The toast, salad, and water were delicious.The staff was adequate,

I would give this restaurant a ten star rating for thier "At home atmosphere " and awsome food. My wife and I look forward to the Wed dinner at the Cafe of Chicken Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, salad and Salted Carmel homemade ice cream with pie.

I finally made it to the Riley Cafe after hearing about it for quite some time. They had posted on Facebook that their 2nd Friday of the month special would be liver and onions. After seeing the picture they had posted, I had to go. I have to say that it was the best liver and onions I have ever had, hands down. The food was fresh and hot with great flavor. My mouth is watering as I type this just thinking about it. My friend had a hamburger and he said it was delicious. He had homemade onion rings with it that he said were the best ever. They also have wonderful homemade pies. You must go check out this little diamond in the rough. You won't regret it.

We showed up with only a few minutes to spare before they closed. We were trying to be considerate of the closing time. We opted for carry out but the owner was insistent that we dine in and enjoy our meal's. The server took our order and the owner delivered our food to the table. Eating at a new place you've never tried is always risky. The food was fresh and had that home cooked Sunday at grandma's house feel, smell and presentation to it. Plated nicely and optically appealing. Being restaurant owner's and foodies our expectations were met. If you haven't eaten here you should!!! Cozy atmosphere, good service and quality food. Fresh ground beef in burgers and cooked to perfection. Her chicken fried chicken with homemade mashed potatoes is never very tasty. Her pies are wonderful. She makes the best coconut cream pie. The best part you can sit at a real table and enjoy some cool decor.

Our favorite place to eat. Food is always delicious and fresh. If you want a homecooked meal, steaming hot, and homemade pie, this is the place to go to. Salad bar is amazing. Worth the drive from Manhattan.

Excellent cheeseburger (today's special). Looked and tasted like they'd just made it fresh, plus they had pepper jack which is my favorite for cheeseburgers. Would definitely order again even if it wasn't the special :)

Been quite a while since I've been there. Just as good as it was many years ago.True home cooked food. I had the burger and fries (my standard on the road go-to), listen to the waitress - she will steer you straight.

We absolutely love Riley cafe! Everything I've had there is nothing short of great. The chicken fried chicken is amazing and we rarely miss eating it on Wednesday. It is easily the best chicken fried chicken I have ever had!

Home cooking at it's best! This is a home style cooking, small town gem of a cafe. Owner does her best to fine tune to requests and offers daily specials every weekday. Good salad bar, great desserts (my favorite is chocolate cream pie, wow) and food you can guarantee was cooked with loving care. Highly recommend!

I was a first time visitor to the Riley Cafe but it won't be the last. I went with a group of other Seniors from Manhattan, about 18 of us. Cafe was clean and decor was suited to the town. Menu was larger than I expected with a wide variety of things to order. Special of the day was meatloaf. That's what I ordered. Came with the salad bar and baked or mashed potatoes and Texas toast. Salad bar had lots of choices and all was fresh and inviting. When my plate came,. My eyes about popped. The meatloaf was big enough to feed a family and mashed potatoes with gravy was hot and spiced with the right amount of salt and pepper. Took a big "to go box" home so I could try the pie. Several different kinds to choose from, like chocolate cream, coconut, strawberry to name a few. Great homemade meal. Ladies took our orders and saw that we had everything we needed. Fast for our large group. Thanks for a wonderful meal. See you again. Soon..

Cheryle's variety of cakes she provided at our daughters wedding was an added flare. Nice texture and frosting. Our daughter enjoyed working with you as well very accommodating to the couples wishes. I sampled the red velvet a bit dry but tasty, husband tried 2 flavors equally delightful.

It is hard to find home cooking from scratch these days! The Riley Café is a cozy home style restaurant that is welcoming and invokes the nostalgic feeling of traditional small town Kansas home cooking. The food is delicious, fresh, seasonal & made from the heart! One of the best BLT's I have ever had in my life came from tomatoes still warm from the sun -picked from the garden behind the restaurant! You don't get more farm to table than that! The service is friendly and hospitality is full of small town Kansas charm. The owner is as authentic as her cooking! And please save room for pie and make sure to buy a bottle of local honey to take home. There is no stop light in this small Kansas town, but Riley Café is a good reason to stop anyway!

My daughters wedding was pandemic postponed twice, and Cheryle was so wonderful, as the date changed. The past Saturday, we had the wedding of their dreams, and she provided the most delicious cake and cupcakes for us. Two weeks out, we had to increase the order, as our "attending" RSVP's went up. Again, Cheryle was great, and added to the order. She had also offered to decorate around the base of the cupcake stand, so we left greenery and twinkly lights. When we arrived at our reception venue, after the wedding, the cake table was beautiful. Thank you, Cheryle, for being so nice and also providing the best tasting cake I've had.
