I love this shelter, I've gotten some little ones from them and you can tell that they really care! The people there are so nice and welcoming. If I'm ever looking to add to my family again I will for sure be going to Fort Riley Animal Shelter<3

5 stars for customer service and the selection of animals. The facility is small so they don’t have a lot of space so adoption is crucial. Loved the kitty room with all the babies in tow chilling and getting along. The staff is a bit overwhelmed bless their hearts for still having good customer service and taking care of fur babies in need. Definitely adopt from this place 😊!

Me and my husband went into the shelter to see and dog. We were told that it would be a few days before we can adopt the dog because he needs to get use to us, and were ok with that. We have been putting the work in to get the dog so we were there for a few days now. Well we went today to see the dog again and the lady at the front desk (Susan) was very rude and had an attitude with us and said we can't adopt the dog. Then proceeded to accuse my husband of writing a report about her when he was just checking his work messages. Who ever told you we were trying to take the dog today was not correct. Susan kept telling us we aren't a good fit for the dog. We understand completely that we need to let the dog get use to us before hand. We had planned to put in the work to come whenever we can so the dog could get use to us.

Susan was so rude to me telling stuff wasn't doing that was bot true. Like I got a message from work and every soldier knows if you get a message from work you awnser and she just gos on a life a fracas out saying g report me. And I told here its work then she started to catch a aditude with me this place is horrible. Never again.

The employees that this facility are so rude. I will not be going back. But the worst one of all them is Susan. She was so rude and had such an awful attitude while talking with me.
