Kid-friendliness: Ms. Joni will help the kids make their own ice cream. And she will compliment their manners, making a parent feel very proud.

Food poisoned!! Our family stopped by traveling across Kansas.... We all received food poisoning from our meals. I had a hamburger, one kid had a hot dog and the other two ate chicken. This only happens from cross contamination! Poor employee hygiene and undercooked food!Beware!!

I’ve stopped at the DQ in Quinter many times. It’s not the most consistent place on earth, but it’s Quinter, KS not NYC. I can only imagine that staffing this place is difficult in a town with a population of 950+. Reading some of the reviews I can understand if someone’s food quality was bad, but I don’t stop in here expecting a 5 star dining experience. I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of the DQ desserts. Classic DQ soft serve. The staff is generally mid-west friendly and I’ve never been treated poorly. I appreciate this place for what it is: a nice break from the road and a welcome treat from welcoming people.

Best DQ in Kansas!! Love all the food, especially the chicken tender basket, cheese curds and burgers. Love all the deserts and the ice cream cakes!! I could eat here everyday.Kid-friendliness: Definitely with food kids love and ice cream!

Hands down the best Dairy Queen I have ever been to! A true Gem in a small town, worth the stop! The staff is excellent, the place is clean. The restaurant itself inside and out is just as adorable as can be! The food, wow let me tell you! It took a while for them to make but man was it worth it! The beef tasted so fresh! If we drive through here again, I can't wait to stop! Thank you everyone there for such a great experience!

We enjoyed our stop here to eat. Had been years since we had DQ. The staff was very friendly and fell in love with our Rottie (Maggie) waiting in the jeep (ac was running for her). They gave her ice cream and she loved it. We will stop in again when in the area.

Stopped here to get a drink and walk around & take a break during our road trip. I noticed that even when there were no other customers every employee there was still working hard, happily keeping busy doing deep detail cleaning of the store. They also let me buy grilled chicken without the sandwich ingredients so I could feed my doggy because I couldn't find his food packed away in our moving truck. That was very nice of them. Great people! :)

Stopped here on our way back from Colorado. The bathroom was gross but the service was nice. Very small-town, vintage feel, (as in, it's been there a long time!) so it was cool to see how the restaurant chain used to look! People were very nice.

This is a nice Dairy Queen that is well staffed which is a surprise in itself for a lot of dairy queen's. Many times you will go to a Dairy Queen that doesn't have enough staff to be able to cover the amount of customers that are coming in and your order takes forever to get. I was very pleasantly surprised that the food and desserts came out quickly. The staff was all very friendly.

Great food and service was outstanding. Four personable young ladies all did an excellent job and went above and beyond to correct a mistake from the grill and pack carry out ice cream in a bag of ice for us to drive an hour to our destination.

This is the best DQ in Kansas! The desserts are made to order as are the burgers and sides. The owner/manager is often there and she is very picky about quality control, cleanliness and consistency. It's also perfectly situated as a stop between Eastern Kansas and Denver.
