My only negative comment is that the room was small and my wife and I felt a little cramped. Everything else is a positive. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, TV, mini-fridge, AC and wifi all worked fine and the room had a nice shower. Staff was very friendly and price very reasonable. We stayed on a quick trip to Nebraska to see the eclipse in August. We probably won't pass this way again but if we do I will stay at the Evergreen again.

Nice quiet little place with a very delightful owner who goes above and beyond to take care of her guests. The only thing I noticed the place did not have when I got there was a small fire pit outside by the picnic table and she was kind enough to let me go ahead and build one so hopefully others will enjoy that as time passes by. The room was clean comfortable and complete with fridge microwave coffee pot and Bible 👍

We were on our way back to Colorado from Oklahoma and a severe snow storm in Kansas, closed I-70 and caused all hotels to be booked. This motel was the only one with vacancies. We were pleased with room. Room is really cozy, very clean. Room comes with refrigerator, microwave, coffee and big screen TV. Lady is very nice and a welcoming

We stopped in late. The price is very reasonable. The staff is friendly and the room was comfy and clean. Thank you for a relaxing stay. Also, they're pet friendly. I really could have stayed there longer but we had to get home.

Room and bed were comfortable. This is a 50's or 60's era motel that is slowly remodeling. Soundproofing between rooms is not great. We were lucky to have considerate neighbors on each side of us. The motel does have modern things such as Wi-Fi and basic cable TV. Owner is customer oriented and very nice. Our bed was a comfy king sized memory foam bed. The room has a refrigerator and microwave and what I would guess to be a 32 to 40 inch tv.The only that wasn't optimal about our stay, is the room was not exactly wheelchair accessible. We knew this when we booked the room, but if you are wheelchair bound and cannot walk several feet, you will not be able to use the toilet or shower.

Very comfortable, quiet, clean. I was in need of a place to stay, didn't get a paycheck yet and the owner allowed me to stay there and pay her after i received a check. Very comfortable beds too.

My husband, our 19 month old son and myself stayed here in November during hunting season due to my husband hunting. The owner was a very sweet lady, it was definitely out dated but very cozy! Only real complaint I have is the paper thin walla. The fact that at 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon we recieved a call from the owner in regards to the men who had a room next to us complaining "We were being too loud and they were trying to take a nap!" My husband was taken a nap as well in the same room with us (and he wakes up to the drop of a pen), my son and me were laying in bed with him and we had the TV turned on with cartoons playing. It was 1:00 pm and we have a toddler, being completely silent quiet at that time during the day is hard. Every morning at 4:30 a.m to 5:30 a.m those same guys that complained would wake me up being extremely loud getting ready to go off on their hunt and would be just as loud when they returned from their hunt around 11:00 a.m and we did not complain once. We personally just thought it was very rude and uncalled for!Other then that incident, it was a pretty good stay.

We stayed at the Evergreen (never brown) Motel while Pheasant hunting in the Plainville area-Dec 13. It was great. The rooms are big and they accept dogs. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. It is a great value for hunters in the area or for an overnight when passing through.

Had friends staying there and they said that we stayed here and never did and we went home the rooms here r not that big for five people to sleep in there and i wouldn't pay for a bad room like this at all i dont care if u r the cheapest hotel or not will not rent a room ever

I will never ever stay at this hotel again when coming to see my mother in Plainville KS, I got blame for having people stay over night when they didn't they went home and came back the next day, my advice to anyone who want to stay here and have friends come over meet them somewhere else other then the motel or you could be blamed for having them stay the night, I must add in that my room didn't have a working smoke alarm in it
