I have never been so disappointed with the grooming portion of the store. After giving one of my dogs a poor haircut I put off going back, but I decided to give the place a second try. After booking an appointment and all they had my small dog (16 lbs) there for over 4 hours and nothing was done to him. I asked and verified the service I wanted 3 times and after everything my dog didn’t even get a bath. I would never recommend anybody taking there pets here to be groomed.

Angela was my cashier and helper. She was SO helpful and made sure I got everything I needed. I just recently got a puppy and she was very quick to help me get the necessities and also some fun things. Thank you, Angela!

The girls at Petsense were great with my puppy! She was only 16 weeks and had never been to a groomer. She was incredibly anxious, and the girls were so patient! They called me to give me pointers to help relax her for next time, which was really appreciated.

Y’all need to stop selling animals. It’s clear you have no clue what you are doing. Every critter you had, was in horrible conditions. Tarantulas need moisture to molt, lizards need moisture to shed, pac man frogs need moisture to exist, your beardie looked to be dead. I watched the beardie for about 5 minutes and never saw it take a breath. There is more to these critters than substrate,food and water. Humidity is a huge factor. What y’all are doing is plain cruelty. I am contacting anyone and everyone that will listen to get this situation corrected.

Went to find small harnesses for 2 dogs we just got, and this was the third place we had looked. They had what we needed, plus offered exchange if they did not fit properly.

Stopped by this morning to pick up dog food and saw the girl in the groom shop holding a dog by the face screaming and cursing at it. I wouldn’t trust anyone like that with my dog!! Will not be coming back here

The groom shop always does a great job with my three dogs. They always look and smell great after their groomings and they love going there. Thanks Drew and Kai. Also, Billy is a great manager and goes above and beyond when helping me. Highly recommend this store.

This is not a complaint about your staff rather your lack of staff. Nobody came to the register, so I left, and I won’t be back. You lost not just one sale from me but all future sales. And I’ve been coming in a few times a month spending average of $100-$150 each time for meds and toys. I bet if you pay people some actual decent wages you’d be able to keep enough staff so there’s always somebody at the register. The whole point of a store is to sell items, and you can’t do that if there’s nobody to ring up a sale. Good day.

2nd time getting my dog groomed today and apparently because my dog is old and cannot hear well I cannot have her groomed there again. Same dog I took 3 months ago and there was no issue. They also claimed my dog and fleas that I had never seen, so I paid for that today. Very disappointed, will not recommend!!

Little to expensive for me but there clearance is nicely priced if you can catch it. People are very friendly and helpful, have never had a bad experience there at all. They take really nice of the store to clean and very organized.

I do the pet rewards, where is you buy 10 bags the 11th is supposed to be free. I have been told a couple of times by different employees that I was always just one bag away. I was pretty frustrated to the point of not being a return customer. Tony at the pittsburg store went out of his way to call me and make the situation right. I will definitely continue to buy my animal supplies from this store, and he was very helpful!

The person who helped me find the dog food was super friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I'm not interested in paying that much for dog food. I tried it out to see if it might be cheaper than other places in town but it definitely isn't. In fact, I got the same food from my vet at a better price! They do have a large selection, so that might be helpful to some and I felt like the person helping me really did care about making sure I got exactly what I wanted. This probably isn't the place I would visit regularly for dog food anyway.

Honor your 7 day guaranteed pet policy, and not give someone a run around, that would be a start. Don't sell me a sick animal to begin with, and then tell me well you don't have a vet receipt. First off I couldn't even find a vet near where I live to even care for the hamster that my son wanted. That's not my fault, the hamster had what they call wet tail, and even talking to a vet, they said even if they could do something, it still wouldn't make it, because it's very deadly in hamsters. If your gonna honor something stand by it, and not give someone excuses of why you can't.

It's not a pet store, it's a place that sells pet food and pet toys for dogs and cats. If you need anything for exotic pets go elsewhere. Prices are high and the employees are knowledgeable about basic pet care only.Update 1/11/23: still sucks! Go to Claws and Paws on 4th Street. Best pet store in the 4-States!!!

I brought the dog bed back to the store in Pittsburg within 24 hours with my receipt since it ripped the first time my dog laid down in it. I was told they would not take it back since it was damaged. It had 3 holes in it because it was made out of cheap material. I wasn't offered an exchange- NOTHING! And this was after the cashier checked with the manager.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!POOR QUALITY MERCHANDISE!NO RETURN POLICY!

Great Place for Dog Grooming, and supplies. Even saw Amelia Wheeler, Good Boy Dog Training doing a class in the store. Amazing dog training, Amelia started training our Rottweiler at 7weeks old. We get comments about how well behaved Bella is all the time. Petsense for all your Dog needs!

Due to the current problems with mail delivery, many pet stores are out of the bugs I feed my tree frog and leopard gecko. I had never been to this store before. I called ahead and was told that they had mealworms in stock. When I entered the store, it smelled clean and was well-stocked. The woman behind the counter opened the mealworms so I could see they were small enough for my little critters' mouths. I will definitely be back!

This Petsense currently has a pink toe tarantula in a completely inadequate enclosure. As an arboreal species, this tarantula requires things to climb, as well as an adequate amount of substrate in the bottom of the cage. This poor tarantula sat huddled under a small log placed at the bottom of the cage, with multiple crickets sitting next to it. One should never leave uneaten crickets in a tarantula enclosure as it poses a serious safety risk to the spider. This is negligent on Petsense’s part and I hope that they work to educate themselves on a creature thy are attempting to home BEFORE bringing it into their store in the future.

They do a great job grooming, but good luck trying to book an appointment, I've called multiple times at various times of the day and the man answering the phone tells me he's the only one working and is too busy, and asked me to call back in 30 minutes, I wait and call back and get the same response! Very frustrating!
