Will not go back to get any kind of jewelry. Went last night to get my husband something. Waited for 15 minutes, and the lady working saw me and did not ask if I needed help. There were 2 women helping 1 lady. My husband had this issue 8 years ago, which is why he doesn't go back. It's sad when you go and wait and they see you and ignore you for 1 person when 2 were working. Most the employees are rude there anyway that why I go to Joplin JC Penny to shop there. Will not go back . Need to be friendlier and hekp out when needed and not make people wait and never ask if you have been helped.

Middle of the road on prices-just depends on the sales. Staff always seems very friendly and helpful. The juniors department never seems to have much of a selection but the other departments are stocked up well.

Good friendly staff. Be sure to check on the website for coupons as there always is something for at just 10 to 15 percent off. This particular store seems to actually be kept clean and organized which is a welcome change from some department stores. The clothing is at least of decent quality and a step above what you can get at other big chains in town. Main complaint is the lack of selection when it comes to juniors fashions.

Went here for the jewelry department. Ended up ordering an online only availability item and the lifetime warranty from Penny's website. With free UPS Ground shipping, it arrived within 4 days of ordering.

Have been in several times to pickup orders. Can be time consuming since you have to wait in the checkout line to have someone go to the back to get your order. Liked it much better when you just went to customer service but I'm sure they have trouble getting people to work like everyone else in the area.

Wonderful selections!! However, will they EVER get the air conditioning fixed? It's making for a borderline miserable shopping experience, having to wear masks in a high temperature store. Working an 8 hour shift there HAS to be miserable!!

My mom and I were in the store looking at dresses for her and there were no signs saying where to put the clothes that had been tried on. When we went to put the dress back on the rack the supervisor quickly asked if we had tried it on. We said yes. She replied (in a frantic tone) with "we cant put that back on the racks." She proceeded by grabbing it off the rack and huffing off without saying anything else. She didn't wait for us to move out of the way but instead decided to brush past us. We explained that there wasn't a sign telling us NOT to put it back. But she ignored us and went back to the register. We have been following each businesses COVID requests and have been respectful. We went back to the store and my mom explained how rude she had been to us and how we would have followed the rules if they would have all their rules posted. We informed that same supervisor (who had been rude with us) we will not be coming back to this location.

Not enough shoes for men many shelf are bare. Very few sizes to select. Really diappointed. No pajamas or robes for older women or large sizes.

They always seem to be under staffed. Long lines, 1-2 registers open, and they never have "coupons", depending on who's helping. It's so frustrating. I've been told at this Penney's that there is a lot of inconsistency with their mailings and to just ask, there are usually some coupons. If I'm using my Penneys care almost everywhere will give you and extra 20% off. Not this store. Customer Service seems to be lacking at out location.

Do not buy from J C Penny if you actually want any thing delivered, They put you off for 6 months or more and than tell you it no longer available. This is the worst store I have ever shopped at. Help me spread the word! There customer service department is even worse. A man in that department gave me his word, he would take care of things, and know will not even take my calls or return any calls.

Prices are good, selection was OK, but the store was under staffed. They have plenty of cash registers, but only 2 of the 4 were open. The staff was fairly cranky, probably because they were overworked. Had to wait in line to check out of the store.

Customer service is terrible. JCP has lost a lot of my business. Not only do you get card status removed if you don't continually buy, but returns are limited to 60 days, you get charged for slow shipping, and their deals are a joke.

Since we don't have hardly any places to shop in pittsburg penny's is a decent place to shop unless you're looking for shoes. They have a very poor selection for women and even worse for men!

Don't order anything online, ordered a ring to be delivered to the nearest store and they sent to a store two and a half hours away. When we have a store here. Told me to go get it or cancel it.
