When speaking with the Vet, she made me feel uncomfortable. I called my oldest dog. My son... and she started laughing. I just didn't like the customer service... also she is only 1 person so if you have larger dogs like me, who need special care. I would recommend Newton Animal Hospital.

This place is great. The hours & prices are the best. Appointments can be made suddenly and without paying an "emergency fee". With over 30 years experience, even Pet Shop owners bring their collections here for their wellness exams. The single review of one star should be considered only as 1 person out of a long list of other 'great' reviews. We wouldn't take our pets anywhere else unless Dr Skinner refers them to a larger clinic / Pet Hospital with specific equipment & in-house labs. We really appreciare her.

Never recommends services that are not needed. Gives the 3 year Rabies Vaccination to save you time and money. Performs animal dentistry services. Refers customers to the best place to receive imaging services. Answers your questions and concerns. Kennels pets while you travel. Performs Euthanasia services when needed.

Dr. Skinner is more of a friend than just our vet. She's an active member of the community, helping with schools and churches. She does great veterinary work at a great price and really cares about the outcome.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMALS DONT MESS WITH THIS VET. SHE IS ONLY HERE TO COLLECT HER COINS NOT LOVING ANIMALS!!!!! ALSO DONT LIKE PITS...THIS WAS ALL IN ONE DAY!!!!Took my dog to get his ear fixed. (Had a pocket of blood in his ear from a vain that broke). So I get there and the drive way is MESSED UP dont look nothing like the internet no screen door like it shows her drive was is messed up because she has to bring in her own rocks! so if you have a nice vehicle do not come. I walk in not even greeted I'm from the south and we definitely dont treat people like this. Everything was "ready" so she started the surgery and the OXYGEN RAN OUT. And my dog started breathing heavy. We didn't say nothing. So she had to change oxygen tank and we back to surgery and in the middle of it the oxygen cut off and she couldn't get it back on my aunt was like okay hes starting to breathe extremely heavy she screamed at my aunt and said "YEAH I KNOW BECAUSE WE DONT GOT NOTHING GOING TO HIM" he was about to die. So him about waking up her HELPER was clipping his nails THEY WAS BLEEDING. Her helper clipped them way to short. I also think she over doused him because he wasscreaming like a cow when he woke up maybe that's normal I dont know as much. and couldn't walk for over 4 hours. His eyes were dilated for 2 half days. She put a cone on him before we left. That was on my MALE GERMAN SHORTHAIR. Now I had my half American bully / pit bull with me and I told her what she was because she was trying to fix her so no puppies I said no. SHE DIDNT KNOW WHAT AN AMERICAN BULLY WAS!!!. And I asked how much would she cost to take off my dogs dual claws off. This woman said "WHAT ARE THOSE?" Now if you're veterinary you would know what dual claws are this woman also asked "ARE THEY ON THE BACK FEET TO?" You should know this about dogs or any animal. So I knew not to get them removed by her. I only wanted to get them removed because they was getting caught on things. My pit was there for shots. An I argued with this woman about a parvo shot. A parvo shot is like a flue shot!!!!! It gives them a little of it and the body fights it!!!! She was like oh no bull no. I called her two days later (tonight)and told her we took the cone off because IT WAS CHOKING HIM. this woman yelled and said "NO NO YOU SHOULD OF LOOSEN IT" I told her you dont got to be rude about this and you been rude from the start my dog couldnt eat or drink and it was a big bowl. She said "you should of never token that off its fine for a dog not to drink or eat for 4 or 5 days" I mentioned again you dont got to be rude like you was rude from the start and she hung up in my face.my dogs ARE GOING TO EAT AND DRINK WAY BEFORE 5 DAYS LIKE WHAT ??????? She should of kept it professional !!!! And said sorry if she thought she was being rude which she was.. and I WILL NEVER TAKE MY DOGS BACK!!!!!!!!! I am not slandering this woman or anything I'm speaking facts and looking out for others!
