OMG I can not say enough good things about this place! Bailey got her first haircut at Puppy’s Playpen today and she has never looked this cute. I am obsessed! We finally found our forever hair salon and groomer. Tab did such a beautiful job, so detailed. Tab listen to what I wanted and did exactly that. The staff is very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place. I have no complaints. Thank you!!!!!! 😊

We tried a few different groomers before we landed on Puppy’s Playpen for our mini golden doodle, and now we don’t go anywhere else!! Each time, they do such a great job and always make sure to ask if we want anything different or changed! They are always quick and amazing, and Cleo loves going there! I love the sweet touches like seasonal bows and features on their social media pages. Big fans of Puppy’s Playpen!

My wife and I have kept our 14 year old Manchester terrier here along with our 3 year old standard poodle a number of times. Most recently we had them at puppy playpen for a 12 night stay. Are two dogs have very different temperaments but both enjoy staying here. The staff here really love dogs.

For several years, I’ve taken my dog to Puppy’s Playpen for grooming and a few times for a couple of days of boarding. My regular dog sitter was not available for my last trip, so I used Puppy’s Playpen. When I picked him up, he did not act like himself at all. He is normally a very happy dog, loves people. He walked out to the car with his head down, tail between his legs and didn’t have the energy to get into the car by himself. It took a week for him to start acting normal. I took his food in packets with instruction for his feeding times and amounts. Several feedings extra were returned to me. He’s still not acting quite right. Sad! I would miss an important event before I board him at Puppy’s Playpen again.

Our French bulldog LOVES Puppy’s Playpen! She is on the nervous side and has no problem walking [running] right in past the counter to go play with her friends. The people who work there genuinely enjoy interacting with the doggies and Zoe very much feels the love. Highly recommend for playcare, grooming, and boarding!

What can I say about puppy's playpen. They are amazing and my dogs absolutely love going there. I never worry about them and no that they are being taken care of with extra special love. I just wish they were in Wichita :-) our go to place when we're in Kansas City

Took my 5 month old puppy to Puppy's Playpen for the first time today. The staff was extremely friendly & excited to have our Sherman. When picking him up, he seemed very happy and the staff was able to give me a great report.I only gave it 4 stars because the cameras used did not seem very clear on my computer screen to view his room and 2) he was in the petite dog room & there seemed to a lot of dogs (our dog didn't seem to mind it just seemed so crowded. I felt sorry for the staff).I definitely will be using them often and the staff definitely deserve tips especially since the price is so reasonable.

Great place to take your dogs. We've used them for daycare, boarding, and grooming and they've done great with everything.We've been taking our dogs here for years and even though there's a doggy daycare on my way to the freeway, I will drive right past it to take my dogs to puppy's playpen. We moved from OP to Shawnee and went from maybe 10 minutes to get to puppy's playen to about a 30 minute drive to get to puppy's playpen and I will drive out of my way to take my dogs to puppy's playpen rather than using the closer alternatives because it is run so much better and cleaner.The place is clean and doesn't have a smell to it like some other doggy daycares that we've walked into. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It seems like they love what they do and our dogs always seem to have a great time and come back with out.

I love puppy’s playpen! I got a new puppy so obviously lots of energy! I needed somewhere he could go for daycare a couple days a week while I was at work. My pup LOVES going to daycare. The moment we walk in the door he can no longer walk in a straight line because he’s wiggling his tail/butt so hard. Everyone that works there are so nice and welcome my pup with excitement every time he comes. I love knowing that when I’m at work he’s having fun, socializing with other dogs and people too! Plus there is an app where you can watch a camera of them at daycare. After a few times being there I no longer felt the need to use the camera because I know my baby is being cared for and happy. Even after my puppy is trained enough to be left alone at home I will continue to bring him to Puppys Playpen because he loves it and so do I.

I was looking for somewhere to board my dogs. Puppies playpen was on my list of places to check out.First I got on their website to check pricing. Kind of high in my opinion.The most shocking part is that they have webcams showing their employees doing nothing but sitting down.. on their phones, with headphones in. Not to mention there are zero toys in any of the rooms, the kennels are pop-up kennels stacked on top of each other right next to one another, and the staff aren't even interacting with the dogs.I will definitely check this place off of my list of potential boarding facilities.

This was our second visit to Puppy's Playpen. We were visiting a friend in Overland Park, which meant a drive from Topeka. I made a call on Friday for doggie daycare for my 9.5 lb Chorgi, Harley. The staff is great and they obviously love dogs. I was completely confident that Harley would be well cared for and have fun playing. He had a good day and we did, too. I highly recommend Puppy's Playpen.

Not only is the staff amazing and they take great care of all the dogs. They always make sure that it’s clean. Which i can imagine is a hard feat among all those dogs. They also pay attention to each one. When I pick up my dog I’ll be told if he did good or if they are worried about something. Daycare is amazing so was boarding I have only had my dog get a bath once. But wow he was soft for a couple days.

My husband and I were going out of town and needed a boarder for a few days. Our dog had never been to a boarder before, he had always stayed with family or friends, and we were therefore just a little nervous about the prospect of leaving him with strangers for several days. He's a rescue pup and can get a little overwhelmed in new situations. The staff are all super friendly and it's easy to tell they love the dogs as much as their owners. We also enjoyed being able to check in on him via the cameras (and see him playing and being active every time). When we went to get him after 3 days of boarding, Oli didn't want to leave all his new friends, people and dogs alike! Thank you, Puppy's Playpen, for a job well done.

I love that this place does not crate your dog and you don't have to pay extra for your dog to "play." I gave it 4 stars because after one stay, my dog got kennel cough. He has had it before, and even though he is vaccinated, I suppose it's like kids at a daycare and you can catch things. The added bonus of being able to watch my dog, makes me feel like it is worth it to have him stay here. Every encounter I have had with staff has been friendly and helpful.

I really like daycare at puppy's playpen. Everyone seems really nice and my dog loves it. I gave it four stars out of five because of grooming. I used to be really happy with my pup's grooming, but I am less happy more recently. One issue in particular is letting my dog go back to daycare after a bath. I do not pay good money for him to still smell like he's been at daycare.

They do a great job cutting the hair of my two bouncy goldendoodles. Lucy and Milo. They offer great quality, healthy dog food and treats. The staff members are ALAWYS cheerful, and if I need assistance, they help me get my dogs to the car and load up my dog food. They have open boarding (no dogs locked in kennels) except over night. It's a happy place!

I love this place for our fur babies! They make boarding easy, offer discounts if you have more than one dog, and they take good care of your precious pets. We have been taking Chewy our bishon/shitzu mix there for 5 years since he was a pup and our newer pup Watson for the past 3 years. They have a great time there and they are sensitive to Watson and his Yorkie anxieties. We always have peace of mind having them here.

My little "rescue girl" REALLY loves the staff at Puppy's Playpen which tells me a lot about she is treated and cared for while there. I have used two other boarding and day care providers and wouldn't allow a dead mouse to be "taken care of" by either of them. When I travel I am totally comfortable with my puppy in their care. It is what a "mom and pop" should be, not part of some corporate conglomerate who cares only about the $$$. For me, they are simply the best.

My dog hadn’t been there In awhile and did not do well, when she was younger she was fine . I was talked to as if I was a two year old with a horrible dog . They even told me she was a typical Frenchie. So much for being open minded. They then apologized to the man behind me as if I , and my terrible dog were holding up the process. I was shocked. I won’t go back. I loved the owner and never expected this treatment. I guess if your dog is as benign as a potted plant you are fine. If they don’t do well you are the enemy. I am sorry I had this experience. I felt I needed to say this. I rarely write reviews .

I thought this would be a good place to let my 9 month old shepherd stretch her legs and be around other dogs. She is well behaved, rambunctious, and loves people. Day one went fine, of course she was a little apprehensive about the other dogs, she just needs to get acclimated. I spoke to the kennel attendant and he seemed sure that she was starting to warm to the idea of lots of dogs around. he commented later in the day she began to interact with the other dogs.Ok, Lets buy a package, So I did. Day two came and about and I get a call from the staff.. I'm thinking she was hurt or something had happened. Nope, she was fine. but I was informed that my dog was not a good fit for the facility. OK, did she bite someone or another dog? Nope. Did she do anything besides be a dog? Nope. Apparently, The staff was not interested in doing the job I payed them to do. Watch the dog. Not really that hard, just watch the dog.It seems that the place is over crowded, understaffed and if anything arises that might require a little effort on the part of the staff, they punt. Nice place you got here. You watch dogs, you cant even get that right.

My dog Leroy loves coming here! The staff are always helpful and they know who we are when we walk in. I also love that they have cameras that you can watch on an app to see what your fur baby is doing! I definitely recommend you leave your dog in their care for grooming, boarding and daycare!

My 6 year old Cavalier loves to go here. The staff is friendly, knows the name of and greets each dog by its name. They are super friendly to pet parents, also. I have taken my dogs here for at least 8 years. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

The staff at Puppy's Playpen is AMAZING! The first time of using daycare when picking up my dog I mentioned her name they knew exactly which dog she was and chatted with me (they let me know my dog was high energy and fit better in the big dog room and told me that my dog responded to water when misbehaving). My friend also uses them and her dog had hip surgery and when she called to check on her dog she could see them on the video looking at her dog while talking about her (instead of the generic "she is fine" response). I can tell they truly care about all of the dogs there and fully pay attention to them. I've heard they let the dogs swim in the summertime so I'm excited about that! I've used one other doggie daycare/boarding prior to them and I can tell a HUGE difference. I am definitely loyal to Puppy's Planpen after experiencing their services.

Boarded my 13 year old poodle with congestive heart failure for 7 days while traveling. He can not live without his twice a day medication. He was given personalized attention and great loving care. Love the doggy cam. Felt safe leaving him there. Will definitely use this service in the future.
