The most ridiculous wheel. This poor hamster wanted to run so bad but literally couldn’t fit in the wheel! She put her front paws in and tried but can’t. The other hamster bins were the same. So dumb and so cruel. Do better Petland. And hamsters should be on paper bedding, not pellets. The store doesn’t even sell paper bedding. That wheel though!!!

Employees were rude. My friend was looking to get a dog. No one greeted either of us for over 15 minutes, although multiple employees were standing around. After getting help someone stated “you have to be 18 if you want to see a dog.” We are both 25, so I didn’t appreciate the harsh demand, but happily showed my ID. After meeting 2 of the dogs an employee stated “you’re only allowed to meet 2 dogs per day.” Pet shelters typically let us meet how ever many dogs we need to so that we can pick a good fit. If that is a true pet land policy I won’t be back. we should be able to meet as many dogs as we want to pick the perfect fit for our family.

Had the best selling experience of my life but my fourth dog here got an awesome deal that with Tim, the sales manager, and Devon, the salesman I definitely would recommend anybody who is looking for a purebred pup to come here

My husband and I visited only with the intent to look and see if we saw something of interest. The variety of puppies fit the kinds we were interested in and on the spot they allowed us to play. We found one we loved. The staff were awesome through the whole process and made the purchase process smooth talking through each step. Each question was answered giving us detailed information. We enjoyed the process. A little high on price - but our new puppy is worth it.

Don't buy cats or dogs to apply for their credit card. I bought a cat here last year for $3500, and bought cat supplies for $900 in the store. The staff inside applied for their credit card for me. The limit is $5500 Yes, since April last year, I have paid a total of $2064 (13 months) to the credit card, and $1400.65 was deducted in interest, and only $663.35 of the principal was repaid in 13 months, which is simply robbery! Don't buy their pets, and the cats I bought are not purebred cats! ! As much as I love it, I feel cheated by this pet store! When you apply for a credit card, the interest rate on the credit card will not be explained to you. If they said so, I would definitely not apply for this rubbish credit card! Made me pay so much interest! Terrible! Advise everyone not to be deceived! protect yourself! Hope this review can help you all!Check out the repayment details below! Look at the interest! What a horror of interest!Look at this terrible credit card company. Last year it charged me $1117.71 in interest, and I only paid back $564.22 of my principal! !

Bought a puppy here Sunday sept 18th around 8:30pm, she came home and found out she had blood in her stool. (she used the bathroom within 10 minutes of her being at our house) We had waited a day to see if it was going to be ongoing or if it was just that night. it had ended up getting worse Monday night so we took her back up to petland to complain on Tuesday, they wouldn’t do anything about it, didn’t even offer to pay the vet bills, even tho they KNEW she was sick before sending her home with us. We ended up taking her to our vet and gave them a sample of her stool. turns out she has a very RARE disease (it could possibly kill her) and they said it was caused from spoiled food or bad water. This place is ABSOLUTELY disgusting if you see the conditions they leave their puppies in. We absolutely adore our puppy but will NEVER be returning or buying another dog there again. she is starting to do better which is good.UPDATE! 3/22/23our puppy (Bambi/ BAM BAM) is doing great now. she was constantly sick with something when we first got her, she finally ended up getting better & now she’s an 9 month old healthy pup! the only bad side about that is we’re pretty sure her growth was delayed, ( during the time she was sick she wasn’t growing, losing weight, & she when she starting getting better she went from an 10wk old to a 5month old in just a little over a month.) alongside that, she never really went thru that terrorizing puppy stage until now, which imagine a 50 pound golden running straight at you, full speed trying to break your knees, tearing anything and everything up, etc. 😂 but still wouldn’t recommend buying a pup here. we just happened to get very lucky and our pup made it through the sickness. i’m sorry for a lot of you who lost your pup due to it. here are some recent pics of bam bam!

Today my wife and I came in to look for a possible puppy. My wife and I fell in love with a little Havapoo and we have decided to adopt him. Tim and Devon has help up through the process and had many option that we were able to use as far as financing goes. We were able to work everything out and were able to adopt James. They also walked us through the store and recommended us different products and tell us the ups and downs for our lil pup.

Seinonn will be a great manager! At his young age, he knows how to carry himself in a very mature and professional manner. Kevin was great! If he didn't know the answer, he went to find it great on the 1st week on the job. We found a wonderful 4 month old companion. He can't never replace the baby we lost, but he can bring some joy to us that she left behind.

Great place to place to get your hopes up. Staff was amazing and very helpful. You get attached to the animals quickly so be careful! Beautiful animals there, that are worth the adoption.

We went to go look at a puppy and asked to play with it. Another worker came up to us while we were playing with the puppy and took the puppy from us after telling us another family wanted to look at him. Do basic manners not exist anymore? Did not everyone learn to wait their turns when growing up? Maybe the staff didn’t take us seriously since we weren’t in our 30s or older looking, but nonetheless, that is no excuse. Will no longer think about adopting from Petland. Felt lesser in this store due to the experience.

The puppies cost 5,000 dollars. They try and justify this price with training and food every 30 days. The claim their breeder has changed but can not confirm who it is. And they have no veterinary staff. There is no justifying paying 5,000 dollars for a puppy. When you can find a nice breeder who will be happy to show you their parent dogs.

Puppies are so adorable yet they are sick, saw some that couldnt even get up and as a pet owner myself you know when something is wrong. I honestly felt so bad! Even seen one that ate her own stool, such a sad experience. Love the workers its just sad to see that these puppies are locked up 24/7.

The puppy I purchased has ear mites. There were two other dogs in the kennel with her so they don’t seem to care about keeping them clean. The staff was not very attentive. They were in the back on their phones and was hard to get a hold of to get more info on the $4k puppy I purchased. The staff seemed like untrained salesmen on a car lot. Wasn’t happy to give this store my business but this was a special puppy.

Before you start selling small animals, learn proper care for them. The hamster wheel is TERRIBLE. Either fix it, or keep neglecting and abusing your animals. If it’s not fixed that just goes to show what kind of people you really are. Learn how to actually care for animals before selling them. Maybe try at least an 8 inch wheel and some paper bedding, since that’s what they need to thrive. If you really care about them it’ll be fixed.

I work for a amazing day service/residential facility for adults with special needs called Life Centers of Kansas LLC. Everytime we bring our clients in to Petland the staff is welcoming and super nice. We absolutely love playing with the puppies it is a really therapudic and happy time for our clients. Bird water is always completely disgusting. I own birds and to see this is horrible. Our birds water is at s clean. Would they drink this water?? No! So the birds shouldn’t have to either. Great way to make them sick. Ferret food and cage is always gross. Prices are ridiculously expensive. Places like this should be shut down. They buy from puppy mills and have had multiple complaints. Who in their right mind would pay 6,000+ for a kitten or a puppy. That’s plain stupidity. Doesn’t matter the breed. Adopt from a rescue or buy from an actual reputable breeder. Birds are also way overpriced for birds that aren’t hand fed and tame. 🤦‍♀️

We went to 5 pet stores, if your looking for a hamster this is the best place by far. They have a great selection and the staffs knowledge on the hamsters was really impressive. Thanks!Their dogs and cats are super cute and awesome but they so expensive AF! 💵
