We take our beloved Dachshund to get a quick bath here often, as well as shop here to purchase her dog food and other pet supplies. Wide variety of treats, pet food, harnesses, leashes, toys and more. Staff is friendly, and usually the store isn’t too busy at an given time. We’ve experienced brief waits for the bathing stations, but they are just that - brief.

Ok, helping a friend get crickets for an iguana over Christmas. The staff was soo helpful! Can’t believe I bought bugs, but very thankful they made it so easy to help my friend’s pet.

Submitted a curbside order 20 minutes before arriving to wash my dog. It included the deshed shampoo I'd need for her. The man that was coordinating online orders expedited mine (well before the projected time) and delivered everything to me in the wash area with a bright and friendly smile. Wonderful customer service!!

Very knowledgeable staff. We came in for new dog food because our old food wasn't agreeing with our girls' stomachs. The staff pointed us to an amazing food that our dogs are snarfing up. Thanks!

PET SUPPLIES PLUS LEAWOOD HAS A BOUNTIFUL SUPPLY OF bagged and canned food for DOGS and CATS, with a magnificent selection of beds, leashes, toys, treats, cleaning supplies, pee pads, litter, over-the-counter topical and medical basics for both dogs and cats, plus so much more. I never leave reviews…but had to for this place. We are always trying to find places that just have good people that work there as we have two big dogs that need washed frequently. This weekend was the first time we went to Pet Supplies Plus and used their self clean wash areas. AMAZING. The space is amazing. They have the best set up that makes two dogs they hate baths easy to navigate. We will keep being loyal customers here. (They also have great prices and card member discounts!)

Recently experienced a shortage on victor hi-pro. They've had on sale but none on the shelves. My dogs have been on this brand for nearly a year. I never had this problem. Well, 4 locations of not having it. Amazon, it was! Wish if an item going to be on sale. Please order more for those who buy it, whether a sale is happening

I used to buy everything off Amazon, for convenience. Pet Supplies Plus is so much better. Not only do they give you rewards, but their prices are better and they do curbside pick up. The friendly staff always make me feel welcome.

The dog washing station here is cheaper than competitors in the area, and also open later on weekdays than all other places I tried. That’s a win-win in my book. Not to mention, the staff was super accommodating. Plenty of selection of dog treats and toys, all of which appeared to be competitively priced as well. Can’t wait to make it back in!

Where do I start, lets see…..with Goldie!! What a sweet lady. Kindest lady to ever work in a pet business. Helpful to all, sweet to children. Just love her.To the managers: this is truly the hardest working employee you’ve got. It’s a rare thing to find an employee this conscientious at any price & whatever you’re paying her is a real bargain indeed. The cages are always clean, her fish tanks are truly a pleasure to look at & it’s obvious: she really does care!

Edited to add: while the fish are worth the trip, the customer service was abysmal. I was harassed for my disability. The associate who got my fish for me got my order wrong, and I had to go back in and have her correct it. Proving writing down my order didn't really work, because if I'd been allowed to stay in the aisle, I would have been able to correct the mistake immediately.Got a couple cute fish and they weren't overpriced like they might be at a few other places. Will definitely visit this place again, even though I live 45 minutes away.

I went in to this store because the kibble brand I buy said they sold what I needed. It took forever to find what I needed. I roamed around for a long time and was never offered help to find what I was looking for. Once I went to the counter the employee barely acknowledged me, only saying what my total was. I’ll never go back to this store. There’s plenty of other pet supply store in Kansas City and online options like chewy that has way better customer service.

The Pet Supplies Plus in Leawood has the cleanest most stocked fish area in KC. Very helpful staff, I get all my fish there and will continue to do so

Dog friendly always very clean shelves are well stocked with pretty much everything you need. Prices on dog food are competitive and they regularly offer excellent coupons in the mail. Most importantly they have a top-tier dog wash facility. Everything's included, splash aprons towels dryers shampoo conditioner etc and the price is $5 a wash when you buy a 5 pack
