They hired one of the rudest people I've ever seen back again. I don't know why. I'm glad they put the new Dollar General in Osage atleast they are friendly in there.

I like the products, although there are some items that are not restocked timely it does have more than the Burlingame store. However, the staff are questionable at best gives me the creeps going in there. There is a lady who works in there who is friendly and nice. There is a male cashier. Who is just obnoxious. Hate it. Hate it hate it. In addition some of your items are higher than Jerry’s served way. How odd I really wish it wasn’t so awkward or offputting to go in there, it’s hard when you need certain items you have to go in there, but it’s almost worth the trip to Topeka to avoid the dark-haired young man who is so abrasive sad sad. Sad

If I could give zero stars I would. The manager is completely worthless and shelves are always bare. She dates her coworkers and nobody cares, can't hardly get those two to ever leave the office.

I like this new store cause it seems to be bigger and have more space and it's a little more organized. But EVERY time I go in there is only one cashier and the check out line is soooo long that and everyone is so irritated. And every time there's always at least one or two more employees there. And they keep looking up at the line and seeing all the irritated people waiting but then they don't do anything to help the situation. They just keep walking around the store or putting more on the shelf. Or like today the other employee was just standing behind the registers doing nothing and occasionally glancing at her phone. The cashier that was actually working was so stressed out. When I asked the lady standing in line behind if it was always like this. She replied that it was and sometimes it's actually worse.This store has a great variety of merchandise and at good prices but the customer services is seriously lacking.

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon, found what I wanted easily and went to the registers. There was only one register open and six people in line. The person at the front of the line had a cart full, not sure how many items there were, but everyone in line after that customer had 1-5 items each. Not sure why another person wasn't brought up to cashier for a few minutes.

The only employee I saw in the store at this location today was the young man at the cashier counter. Since I don't regularly go to this location, it was fortunate that there was a customer who helped me find what I was looking for.The young man who was checking everyone out was helpful, but he obviously couldn't leave the front to help any other customers.

Had a guy named Chayse checking me out. He had no interpersonal skills, was rude with customers, and got nasty with a toddler for singing Christmas carols in line. I’m pretty sure he was peeved because he had a long line of customers waiting to check out and his coworkers were bsing in the aisles instead of opening another register, but it is still not the customers fault. Additionally the store was dirty and disorganized. Try the Lyndon or Burlingame store, or even Jerry’s or Casey’s if you can avoid this mess

Dollar General in Osage City is worthless. Shelves are empty, merchandise in boxes. Isn’t there anyone that oversees what goes on in the store. Because if they were to go into that store today they would be shocked.

Fast and friendly workers, easy checkout. The isle' s are wide enough to have two customer carts down at same time. Carbondale Dollar General is almost too narrow to have one go down, sometimes even that is impossible.

Dollar General is the only place I frequent more than once a month. It's always clean, well stocked and has a large variety of basic need items including food, cosmetics and housewares.

I was in the dollar general store in osage city ks . And was in checkout line and the lady in front of me was having problems with the digital coupons and the clerk asked her lead man Steven about it and he yelled at the customer to where you heard it though out the whole store . If that's how they are trained to deal with people I don't think I want to go back.

Dollar general they have just enough so you don't have to run to the city OK place service sucks most the time some employees are good other worthless but it dollar general what do u expect to happen but they did get a fresh food area that has been a life saver at times
