I decided to try the online pickup. They advertise that they do it, so I assumed they did. So, after getting an email saying my order was delayed, I waited a bit more and went in at the end of my hour that I chose. I picked a 3-4 slot...at 4:02 while talking to the cashier, (who never intended to do my order because the system doesn't work, or someone wasnt there to do the orders or something...it wasnt really clear) I got an "order canceled" email. The cashier was very nice and apologetic, it wasn't her fault. I blame the corporate office for advertising something they don't have the ability to do. It was annoying, but my legs aren't broke, I can walk around and shop. I feel bad for the elderly though, or disabled or sick who think they can get a service they can't get. This was on a Saturday as well...a busy day. There were other people that day expecting their online orders to be filled that were disappointed, not to mention that the hold for the amount could take several days to refund back into your account. It's just a bad system. If you don't have the ability, system, or manpower to offer a service...then don't offer it.

We were driving from Tulsa to Lawrence. We were happy to drive by it because we were able to get a cold drink with out paying convenience store prices. However the staff is the real reason for the 5 stars. I was greeted, asked if I needed help finding anything and the cashier was very kind.

It's a pretty decent little store. The place is always pretty clean. But they do leave clothes racks in random isles for days on end. The cashiers aren't taught the couponing rules so I have been told I can't use more than 4 coupons in a transaction which is bogus because everything I had in my cart I had a digital for so basically they were denying me the ability to use my $5/$25 coupon. Very frustrating. Cashier argued with me for several minutes and refused to get couponing policy claiming she didn't know where it was located. I explained she could look it up online. She wasn't interested in being educated so I just left and shopped at a different store instead. But most of the time it's a good experience.

I enjoy going here. There's only one issue. Sometimes the U-boats that are used to restock get in the way but other than that it's clean, clerks, are helpful, will take the time to help.

The lady's who work there are very dedicated. They keep that place clean and stocked and are courteous even when you show up at 5 till close and always helpful when you need to find something inparticular.

Dollar General has great hours for our little town. They don’t have much, the quality of the merchandise is usually subpar, but the workers are usually great and quite helpful.

Offers a wide variety of products at reasonable prices and offers digital coupons which is a definite bonus, but the staff was not as friendly as expected and lacked some customer service attitude. Tho not bad enough to deter me from returning.
