Today: update June17th 2022.A Memorial to the sandwiches pictured below. I am leaving the star rating as is, because I love this place and all places like this. Local tributes to small town diners - and keeping the local economy alive.We skipped breakfast in Springfield to specifically have lunch here. We were excited for the huge, size of a huge dinner plate pork tender and the chicken fried steak, also the size of a huge dinner plate! Plus our mouths were drooling for the huge portions of fresh cut Suzy Q fries.Arrived placed an order for 1 pork tender sandwich and fries for us (my husband and I to split and order the chicken fried steak sandwich if we were still hungry). I could hardly contain myself paid my $8.74 + 1.26 tip. So anxious when my order was brought out to me. It seemed odd. Instead of the heavily filled styrofoam box, I received a petite, the smallest brown bag lunch sack. Maybe it was my fry bag. I peaked inside. Nope. I hurried out of the cafe. Obviously, the menu has change. No announcement. No reviews sharing the specialty sandwiches were a thing of the past. Our once scrumptious pork tender is now a 1/3 the size pictured and tasted much different than previous. The Suzy Q fries have transformed into a half sized order of crinkle cut fries. Maybe the size of a small order of McDonald's fries.I feel a bit blindsided, the menu changed could not find any reviews or page announcements memorializing the once famous sandwiches. Menu changes to this degree are actually noteworthy. At least I would have been prepared for a petite version that tastes different and SuzyQ quit. However, I am thankful that I only ordered 1 sandwich instead of 2.So stop by and pay your tribute to the enormous pork tender and chicken fried steak sandwiches by ordering from the snack size menu. At least you won't be surprised, taken-aback and disappointed.I still firmly believe this is a cool little cafe so please check them out, but the sandwiches below are no longer on the menu.Review from 2020 and 2021.Pork tenderloin: huge. Chicken fried steak sandwich: huge. Huge portions. Friendly service! Love supporting local businesses. Added the coca cola can to give a size reference. The SusieQ's are probably pretty good. These are big as this was a small size. They were limp and greasy, so we passed. Overall, nice out of the way place on main street. Traveling? Recommend you support this local establishment.

Teeny hole in the wall place in Neodesha. The burgers are huge and cooked fresh. And huge! Try the Suzie Q as a side. Fresh cut curly fries! The Reuben was great too.I'll definitely be back.

Real beef, handmade burger, handmade curly fries. Delicious. Only open Monday - Friday but worth the trip. I didn't try the milk shakes but I heard the where good.

We went to Beef Burger Bobs looking for ice cream for the kids. We already had dinner and just wanted some dessert. It was located right on Main Street so it is easy to find. When we walked in we were greeted and we found some good desserts for the kids that Bob put together for us. After he was done he came to the front and he and his wife chatted with us about their history. I would have loved to have tasted their burgers, but that just means that we need to go back!Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved their ice cream.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, as I work in Neodesha on Mondays, but I've always been too scared it might take too long for my lunch break. Boy, was I wrong! Beef Burger Bob's is fast! And delicious! And so cute! I was the only person in there for a bit, and the owner came out from the back and sat down with me while I was eating and told me a bit of history about the place. What a charming little burger spot! I felt terrible, because the only cash I had on me when it came time to leave a tip was a $50. And you know what? I almost did it, too. Truly, these guys would deserve it. If I wasn't going through some struggles of my own right now, I would have gladly tipped them a $50. Great little place. Had a beefburger, fried pickles, and a can of coke. Couldn't have been happier with it all. My only complaint (and I'm not letting it affect the rating at all) is that I had to parallel park, haha. But that's not their fault! They didn't design downtown Neodesha! And hey, they were worth every moment of inching back and forth the car I did! And I'll do it again... with appropriate tip money on me next time! See you guys soon! So glad I stopped by! Thanks for making my ho-hum day a little brighter, Beef Burger Bob's!

Was traveling through Kansas and looking for a place to eat, this place caught my eye and I turned around and tried it. Good cheap burger and fries special and just enough to fill you up. Didn't see a bathroom that you could use, wanted to wash my hands before I ate, very small only about 4 tables. Condiment containers could use some cleaning. Smudges on the ones at my table.

Friendly people and the pepper jack burger, SusieQ's and root beer float were great. Bob takes a lot of pride in his work and this place is worth driving out of the way for every now and then. The prices aren't bad at all compared to fast food places and considering this food seems to be much better I'd say it's a great deal. There's a little bit of a wait because everything's made fresh but it's worth it. Looking forward to going back.

Hands down best burgers in SE Kansas. Scrumptious! When you need a burger fix, this is the place. I love their Patty Melts with grilled onions. Onion strings or sweet potato fries..yum!

Great burger, great environment. I had the 1/2 lb. pepperjack burger and my wife and family had the American 1/4 lb burger with fires and it was amazing. Great stopping point along the way go table rock lake. Will be back!

Nicest couple that own the place. Would stop there on my way to Tulsa and enjoyed talking to them as much as eating the good food. It's a four and a half hour drive from Lincoln, NE and I seriously have thought of making a day trip just for a Beef Burger and good conversation. If its open and you're in the area you must stop in...won't leave without a full belly and smile on your face.

Outstanding, tasty, and great service. Husband and I were driving around on the back roads from Bartlesville, OK. We drove up to the restaurant had no clue he was closing and the owner says come on in. You don't get service like that anymore. Will definitely come back. Fyi: cute town
