The ONLY decent worker is the manager Lady and that's because she's worked there for as long as I've been alive I'm pretty sure. The lady is VERY sweet, respectful, calm, and always is trying to hell others one way or another. ALL the other employees are rude, hateful, and don't deserve they're position/job. 100%

The "Buyers" for this store are very good at what they do. It's not a huge store but they have managed to have the most logical and needed items on the shelves, plus a lot of the "oh yeah, I need that too" variety of things. I always leave impressed that I could find just about anything I need.

Pretty basic Dollar General fare. It's a small place with a somewhat small stock of items from each department. Good enough especially in a pinch, I've shopped there a few times when I was either in a hurry and couldn't drive clear to Derby or Wichita for something or I just happened to know they had something and saved the time/fuel purely for my convenience. Not bad overall though the "dollar pricing" is often false economy unless it is saving you that gas money too.

Sign is often not lit up after dark or dusk, like a businesses should have that is open later. Parking lot in bad, disrepair, lots of pot holes and cracks, along with litter. Employees have been seen out front by doors where customers come in, smoking instead of instead working or at designated break area. Usually have items on sale outside, but not marked very well. Inside shelves are stacked to the ceiling, not enough lighting for how high stuff is stacked. Pathways often blocked by stock that never gets put away. Cashiers normally friendly, need better employees. Has dental floss usually in stock, unlike local grocery store. Average overall. Ivy who works here is very unprofessional for an assistant manager. Many items on clearance are not marked with a price and often the staff is just standing around.

Good place to get cheap stuff. From food to house goods to whatever. They might just have it in stock. Give it a try the next time your running that errand for the boss. She will appreciate the price and your speedy return back home.

Store is extremely unorganized and cluttered. Can't find anything I need without asking and the isles are so cramped, you can barely get through it with a cart, 2 carts would be impossible. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because the employees. they're awesome, they put up with a lot and degraded from manager.

Most of the cashier's are friendly. There is 1 cashier that seems to get irritated at just about everything and another that is snappy and rude. But over all the store is clean and stocked. And I can get in and out depending on who the cashier is.

I love dollar general stores wherever they're located! What I like the most of this brand, is no matter what state they're in, they have a strong presence in the local economies whether rich, middle class, or poor. Because of health issues, in 2013 I became one of the multitudes of homeless military veterans.The Obama initiative to provide housing, better more thorough medical & mental healthcare for all of us military veterans was my starting point for regaining dignity & getting reintegrated with society. But it was this brand , Dollar General, that impacted me almost as much. At the age of 54,I had lost everything- my car, my clothes, pictures of children, etc. You know the routine.After getting rehoused I still had to get food, toiletries, & things to put in my apt. The bigger chain stores were usually quite a distance away from my place which made shopping them difficult.Thank God for Dollar General ! I could get my food & other things & they are close enough to my place so that I can walk there, shop, & carry back my stuff without ending up in the hospital everytime I do. Sorry for being long winded, I just wanted to impress upon others what Dollar General means to me.

This store is a bigger one. It's the only other store besides Dillons grocery store in town. Very clean and stocked. No boxes and dollies sitting in your way.

Staff I'd weird and not consistent. Sold older lady's candy for 1.50 70% off but told us that she couldn't go lower then 2.00. Not sure if she thought we didnt know but all us did.

not the cashiers fault the credit card machine didn't work but after so many stop trying. ... Luckily I had change in my wallet and car... I figure a managet needed to be there to reset the whole system.

Employees were rude . The cashier called the cops on me because she assumed I was stealing. Never once did I even think about stealing anything. Disrespectful.

Dollar General is an over all great idea and in a small town such as Mulvane it's an indispensable shopperee..(I made that word up lol but you get the idea)Convenient, clean, well stocked and a friendly staff - THAT'S Mulvane Dollar General..

It depends on what store you go to some are nice and clean ,friendly staff. Then some are just crowded and dirty the staff don't care at all and not friendly.
