I have been a long time customer. But had them come out to replace a warranty part in a dripping faucet in my bath tub. They charged me an extra hour on the service call to get the warranty part ordered and shipped to my house for me to deliver to them! An extra $89 for getting the warranty part. The part would have been cheaper! Unfortunately we will look elsewhere next time.

Furnace installed just less than two years ago and has stopped working correctly. This after being charged for two furnaces and a water heater because they left me over the weekend with a furnace that didn't keep up with the temps, and washer froze and broke a part and fill basement with water. I guess they thought 55⁰ was an reasonable temp after furnance ran nonstop all weekend. Not using them again. The insurance adjuster said he deals with a lot of unsatisfied customers.

It was time to replace our 24 year old furnace. I called Goering and Eric came out within 30 minutes to examine it. Verifying it needed replaced, Randy was out within another hour to look at our system. By 4 PM the same day, Randy returned to our house with bids and space heaters for the house. By the end of next business day, our system was replaced by Dan. Amazing service and would highly recommend.

Called to get my heater looked at. Rude over the phone. Wouldn’t take my business because I wasn’t an existing customer. My mother is and they never got back to her on a quote 3 months later. What a way to run a business. Don’t worry I won’t call again.

Eric and Goering Hardware deserve 10 Stars not 5! The temperature was 102 degrees this afternoon when I called because my AC unit was out. Eric hustled right out and had cool air pumping within 1 and 1/2 hours. He was a pleasure to work with, very positive, and knowledgeable. Goering Hardware service installed new plumbing for our half-bath. They also serviced our AC and furnace. Flash forward 1 year later when our AC died after a 100 degree day. This was after hours. I emailed Goering Hardware. I got a call at 7:30 the next morning saying someone was on their way to look at it (all the other local AC businesses did not open until 8 AM). By 8:30, Eric had replaced the capacitor on our 1973 AC unit and it was working well again. Most other contractors would have told me I needed a new AC unit. I continue to be impressed by this company, by their honesty and integrity of their work.

I can't say enough good things about our local hardware store. The staff greets you immediately. They guide you to exactly what you need. We've also had services done in our home. Every single technician is so knowledgeable and friendly. Very thankful for their fast service calls.

Eric came out to repair the controls on our heat pump / hvac. He was very prompt, easy to talk to, explained everything, and listened to our issues and concerns. Everything is now running correctly and I thought the price was very fair.

Goering installed a faulty furnace in my family's home, failing to size it correctly. They refused to honor their warranty, and the overheating that resulted destroyed our AC unit, risked our lives, and caused thousands of dollars in damage to our house. Please do not trust this company.
