A small town grocery store is very special. Some things may be higher because of small volume but it is worth it when they are there and save you a trip to a bigger town. The community must support them or they won't be there when you need them. The people in a couple other towns seldom bought anything there and drove some distance to save a few cents. Your hometown grocery store is there for you. You need to be there for them or they won't be there. Support them because I guarantee you will miss them if they have to close because you did not support them. Moran's is an excellent little store. Be good to them and they will give you the kind of service you won't find in a larger store because they don't care for customers the way the little ones do.

The boss is very rude. My wife and I have been kicked out of the marmaton market, because apparently we was stealing from there. I had no reason what so ever to steal from my home town grocery store for one. And for 2, my wife and I aren't thieves. And everything is over priced and there is always mold on the buns and bread. Marilyn got mad at my wife because she quit working for them because Marilyn was taking money out of her check and putting it in her pocket and not reporting it. My wife got tired of her treating her that way and doing that to her, so she quit. We never have done nothing to be treated the way we are being treated. I would love to be able to talk to whoever runs the grocery store here in Moran.

Clean and well presented. Good variety of commonly needed items Cashier was friendly. It's nice to see a small town grocer instead of another big box store or DG to shop at.

The store is very clean and the staff is friendly. As with any smaller store the prices are a little bit higher however they do have nice sales. During the day hours oftentimes have food that is ready to eat and hot.

The Market was a community effort to create a cooperative so the town wouldn’t lose their grocery store. General Manager Rachel McDonald brings a lot of experience to the table. She worked at Ozark Natural Foods (ONF) in Fayetteville, Arkansas for 12 years prior to coming to Moran. In that time she turned ONF’s deli into a $1,000,000+ a year venture.Her and her assistant manager Carol have big aspirations for what the store can become in the near future.

When you live in rural areas these little grocery stores are blessing especially when living on a budget and you can't afford to drive 30 miles to a grocery store like Walmart or other places

Not shabby at all. Limited selection, but nice and clean. Bought a 24pack of soda for less than what I could get it at a Walmart.
