Took our pup for his first grooming appointment and they did an amazing job! Several friends recommended Empire Pets to me when I was asking around about groomers and I can see why they all recommended them. I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was his first appointment but he looked better than I imagined and so soft. I was surprised to see that I actually prefer our dog with shorter hair like they cut it than the longer hair he had!

Empire pets did such a great job grooming my grandmothers cat. He was shy and scared but they were gentle with him and he turned out looking great and finished quickly.

Our dog has been going to Empire Pets for 2.5 years now and we can’t say enough great things about this business. The staff is always friendly and prompt when dropping off / picking up. They are always able to get us an appt relatively swiftly. We’ve tried out a few hairstyles and eventually found our favorite, and they get it right every time. Couldn’t recommend Empire Pets enough!

I love taking my dog here for bathing, nails, etc. They are very caring, professional and have lots of return customers. They do a much better job than the groomers at the big pet chains.

I didn't have an appointment and needed my chihuahuas nails trimmed. They took us in right away and the guy did a great job! She didn't cry or anything like she normally does. I would definitely recommend this boutique salon!

The best groomers in town! I've been bringing my dogs to Empire Pets for about 8-9 years for nail trims. Everyone here is absolutely wonderful with my two dogs, Sheldon and Buster. My dogs are always nervous about nail trims, but everyone who has ever worked here has been nothing but gentle, patient, and loving.During the first two years of Sheldon's life I did try several other groomers throughout the JoCo area and none of them compared to Empire Pets. After countless frustrations with other groomers due to their lack of patience with nervous dogs, I decided to stick with Empire Pets regardless of where I live in the metro. My babies deserve the best and they get it here every visit!

The only place to take your pet, period. My dogs are happy to go for spa day, they run in the door! These guys pamper your pup. They always come out beautiful. One more time, they may cost more, but you get what you pay for! Happy, clean, groomed puppy! They've never been harmed by a groomer or another dog. Mission Empire Pets is the best!

This is the only place I will take my dog for her nail trims. She's a rescue and was so scared of grooming that we had to muzzle her at first because she would try to bite. They have been patient and sweet, and very careful to not hurt her. We don't have to muzzle her anymore and she never snaps, even though she's still scared. Rhianna and Lavinia are both wonderful and are my go-to gals for my puppy!

Always greeted with a smile and my puppy is so happy with all the smells and other dogs lined up out the door, but don't worry just a few minutes and you will be able to start talking to the actual groomers. They do whatever they do but my doodle who is a very active puppy who is normally 3 shades darker than normal with dirt( she jumps in every puddle of water she sees) they clean her all up, and call about 3:30 I go get her she wants to say bye to everyone and hop in the truck with a clean coat.... Just hoping the sprinklers have run that day so she can get muddy again 😬

This is the only place I take my dog to have her nails trimmed. She has very high anxiety and I have to hold her or she loses her mind. Rhianna and Lavinia are both wonderful with her and come to the side if the store so I can hold her while they do her nails. I'm extremely particular about who I take her to see, and everyone I've met here is very sweet and seems to care very much about the animals. I haven't had a full groom done here, so I can't speak to that other than to say the dogs leaving look very nice to me and seem happy.

I have two small short haired dogs that do not need grooming. That said, I love the convenience of stopping by without an appointment to get my girls toe nails clipped for $10. The staff is super friendly and they allow me to hold my dogs while their nails are clipped. It is less stressful for them, and I am sure the employees, as they are horrible if brought to a grooming table! Also, they carry only the highest quality dog foods. I purchase the frozen raw food and all their treats there, so I am assured my dogs eat foods that are good for them.

1st visit - I loved the way they communicated & groomed my dogs hair,nails,and paws. They were very nice the 1st time there.2nd visit - I was very disappointed! When I picked up my dog, the staff was NOT friendly. Got there and asked who I was there to pick up, I told them my dogs name they went to get him and just handed him over and gave me total and asked if I wanted a receipt! I’m sure they did that b/c my dog looked awful! They told me it would be short which I was fine with but the whole cut was uneven. The hair on the tail “why did they even bother leaving it” my dogs nails hurt me and his paws were so rough! Needless to say I will NOT be going back there! I wish I could upload a pic of 1st time vs 2nd time

I absolutely LOVE this place! They take excellent care of my sweet boy, Gizmo. He absolutely LOVES going there and seeing everyone, and I think the staff adores him equally. They always greet us both with warm welcomes and sweet hugs for Giz. We love it there. Also, Richard (I think the store manager) recommended a great diet change for Gizmo that really impacted his skin and hair in a very positive manner. So thankful we have our friends at Empire Pets. I don't trust my dog with many people, but I never have to worry when he goes here.

I just brought my dog here for the first time and I was extremely impressed with the skill and professionalism of the staff. I just moved to the kc area and had been dragging my feet to find a new groomer. My dog is very difficult and hates to be groomed, brushed etc. When I came to pick my dog up she looked fantastic but more importantly was very calm. They took great care of her.

I took my wheaten terrier to be groomed at Empire Pets for the first time today. I was nervous because this was the first time going somewhere else besides his normal groomer. Everyone there is so friendly and puts you at ease. They listened to everything I requested and when I picked him up he looked so handsome. I appreciated that the groomer waited for me before trimming his fall so that she made sure to get it exactly how I wanted it. I am so very happy with his groom. I can't say enough.Oh yeah, and the price was very affordable. I have been quoted so much higher everywhere else.

I love taking my toy Yorkie here for his grooming needs. He is very timid but he is completely comfortable being dropped off and is happy to see me when I come to pick him up. He has had several negative experiences at other grooming facilities and by his demeanor, I can tell he is treated well while in their care. They offer a high quality groom at an affordable price, scheduling is prompt and the staff are definitely animal people. They don't judge when I bring in my Lil guy in looking like a hot mess. I'm truly grateful to have found this place and know my Lil guy is well taken care of. A million thank yous.....

We take our Pomeranian, Nala, to the Shawnee location at least once a month, and have been extremely happy with the results. Everyone at Empire Pets is very nice and courteous, and always asks what we want to have done each time, even though it's pretty much the same every time. We know she's well taken care of, and always looks great when we pick her up. Highly recommended.

I have finally found the best grooming place!!!! I took my dog there today for the first time. The staff is sooo welcoming and friendly! My dog, a Samoyed, looked so beautiful! Definitely will spread the word to my dog loving friends!
