This has got to be my favorite dollar general I have ever shopped at. The staff is very friendly and in the year we have lived in the town we have enjoyed going in and shopping and visiting with the friendly staff. The store is always fully stocked. If I can't find something anywhere else I'm going to this store and 9 times out of ten they will have it, if the store carries it in stock. The store is always clean also.

I love this store! It has a wide variety of choices. The staff is very nice and always ready to help. Thank you!!!! They keep their shelves well stocked, and care about customers. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE how they play Family Life Radio on Sunday’s! (Christian Music). I live here in Meriden and love to shop here!

The ladies that work there are super friendly. The only gentleman I have seen working there is very rude & not polite at all. He didn't double bag a glass item I had purchased & the bag ripped. Instead of apologizing he gave me a shrug & went about his business. The second time my dad was checking out his items & didn't give my dad the correct change & instead of apologizing & trying to correct his mistake he argued with my dad. My dad just walked out cause he didn't want to fight with him. Overall a very well cleaned organized place but they need to have a chat with that gentleman on his manners with the customers. He's a tall gentleman that wears glasses & most of the time a hat.

I go in here frequently. Store is well-maintained and clean but I recently had to make a return on a small $5 electrical item that did not work. I returned the item the day after I bought it and had a clear receipt for it. The management had a rather sour attitude as if I was lying to him about having purchased it. No apology for having sold me an item that didn’t work (that I then had to go out of my way to return). Not even a thank you or anything when I left the store. Didn’t appreciate the attitude.

Manager was cursing a customer to never just put back items if not wanted...rudly explained to her it was his store and he had to pay someone to put it back so basically scolded the lady.....I understand but the customer is still your customer, she tells someone else you were rude and that spreads especially when the town only has 1000 people in it. Don't work retail if you can't smile and do the job you chose to apply and work at!!!

A normal dollar general but it’s really clean and organized for now. Some items have a smaller selection but still good prices. Milk is still way more then in town but it’s about the same as country harvest. It will help when in a pinch for some milk. We will see how country harvest competes with it.

Only wish Dollar General Stores would come up with a better way to stock shelves. Broken down boxes lying on the floors in the isles should be considered a tripping and fire hazard. Prices always good.

The last 3 times I tried to go there they were closed at 6pm. What is the purpose of having a store if it is not open when it is supposed to be open? Very disappointed!
