Another excellent place to pull off to do exercises and walking. Do a quick 30 minute routine and get back on the US-54. There is a basketball court, grassy areas, bathrooms, and shady places during summer. Very quiet and clean. I come here any time of the year for a chance to walk around and stretch out.

Beautiful park to enjoy resting after driving. Can park overnight with your RV. The only thing that was a negative experience was the noise of the semi trucks braking into town. Can be noisy!Restrooms: Open rest rooms in parkPicnic area: Picnic tables, water pump

Great spot for tent camping off Interstate 54. I was on a road trip from Indiana to California and stopped here for the night. It felt very safe, and there was surprisingly little noise from the nearby traffic. There was a public restroom nearby that was stocked with running water, toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. This is above and beyond most of the parks I've camped at on my journey.Remember to always pack out your trash, only camp in the designated areas, and be gone at daybreak. Let's keep this a good spot!

Perfect place to stop on our road trip! This is a great park. We loved that they had a splash pad and wish we would have had our swim suits! Our two boys loved all the slides and it was fairly shady.

It's a nice park, but be aware it's located directly off a highway with significant truck traffic. For those attracted to the free camping as I was, it's priced about right.

They allow limited camping here, self-contained RVs with no hookups available. We had a great night here. Parking area is flat, and there are picnic tables available. In addition, the bathrooms are still open in December, which can be rare in winter. Great stop on our cross country travels. Look for the blue camping signs for where you should camp.Restrooms: Clean enough and open in December

Wonderful place to come park, camp, bring your dogs, kids. There are bathrooms, dumpsters, a dump station for rvs, playground, shelters, and more. Right in town and really fast internet speed for those who work online like me.

Great park, open all year, heated bathrooms, Frisbee golf, play ground, basketball, horse shoes, free dry camping, picnic areas, bandstand, free dump station, paved parking and very clean and cared for!5/23 still a great overnight or couple days. Bathrooms were clean and stocked, dump station, dumpsters and park were clean and locals were friendly! Bakery, grocery store, dollar store, museum and sporting goods store. 2nd time I've camped here and love it.

I stay here on my drives to/from Arizona. Usually in November and March/April. If you want some sleep, bring ear plugs, otherwise local and truck traffic is noisy overnight. Handy with the RV dump and heated washrooms. Good for an overnight stay. Best of all, it's free.

Stayed overnight the night before their Easter egg hunt. Everyone was very friendly the next morning. Thank you very much, Meade, for having a nice safe place for my family to park for the night with our camper. More city parks need to do this.Restrooms: Restrooms were clean and open.

We parked our 40' motorhome with toad in the park for a night. It's on the south side of the highway on the east end of town. This is a pretty little park. There are no hook ups, but there is a dump station. There was one other camper that pulled in for the night. There may be fresh water, but since I didn't need any I wasn't really looking for it. The restrooms and playground equipment were locked and fenced off because of the virus. This is a free overnight, however they do have a donation box on the restroom on the south side of the park.Meade is a pretty little town with friendly people. We tried to go to the Dalton Hideout Museum, but it was also closed because of the virus. This will be a definite stop for us the next time we're coming through this way.I just stayed in the park again on the way to Arizona. This time I did get to go to the museum. Great place! We also hit the grocery store, filled up the gas tank, and ate at the Pizza Hut.This is a great stop folks!

Camped here on 12/31/20. The camping area is on the southwest side of the park. There are flush toilets, and they were open even in the winter! There is an RV dump station on the west side of the park. There was noise from the highway but you can’t complain too much when the camping is free.We made a donation in the donation box at the front of the bathrooms.

Beautiful park, just needs to be cleaned better by park maintenance on the picnic tables. Takes a while for bird droppings to pile up.Playground: Lots of places for kids to explore and play.Restrooms: Restroom is fairly clean but a little too dark.Dog-friendliness: Pets are welcome. The owners usually pick up after them.Picnic area: Nice picnic areas but needs to be maintained by maintenance, tables near us had a pile of bird droppings on them.

Two stars for the free camping spots. First, it's a nice city park, but very busy with lots of traffic and people coming and going all day and into the night. The area designated for camping is a joke. It's right in the middle of a frisbee golf course with baskets right there next to your RV. Also the local school uses that area for track or cross country practice. So we had kids throwing frisbees literally around us and the track team doing their thing in the lane beside us. Add to that commotion the semi trucks using the engine brakes at they enter town just on the other end of the park. We had planned to spend a couple days and see the sights, but left first thing the next morning after a night of very little sleep.

Great spot to stop for a night. Has water and dump station. There is road noise and trains but nothing you can't sleep through even as a light sleeper.

Thanks to the city of Meade for a great public restroom right by the highway. Clean, stocked with soap and towels. The park is nice too, but for us traveling through, the restroom was a star.
