On my way through Meade I decide to stop at Bob's for old times sake. I remember going here as a kid. I ordered a bacon cheese burger and onion rings. When I opened it a bit down the road I was shocked! The onion rings were charred and black. Only 3 of them were actually edible. The hamburger was cooked until solid except a bit in the middle. There is well done and then there is cooked until black and hard. I was shocked someone would even have the nerve to serve that. It was all inedible and I was too far down the road to waste time going back. However I am told he new owner is known for telling people off and if she didn't care when she put that trash in the to go box, she probably wouldn't care when I went back in. NEVER AGAIN

$17.82 for a burger, fries, and a drink is Highway robbery. When a truck driver has no other choice but to eat there because of a break down, that is terrible to charge them kind of prices. Even some of the best places in Wichita do not charge those kind of prices. I also feel sorry for the people who may have loved ones in the hospital and you are their only choice. Shameful! Food is meh.

We had a cute little girl take our order, kudos to her! The food was ok. It was the first restaurant we had seen in a long time on our road trip with our dog and we needed a drive through. They had one! The food was expensive, not a bargain. My husband went in to wait for our food and was worried we might get sick with the little cook at the grill swatting flies, but we were ok. We ordered the burgers and a club sandwich. The other reviews talk about the restroom set up which is true but it was super clean, no complaints there.

I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and my wife had a grilled chicken with onion rings. Both were awesome. Great portions and prices. The hamburger meat was unreal. Not some fake soy bean type of meat. It was real ground beef. I also tried the spring rolls and they were great as well. Excellent service. I fit my Jeep with a u haul motorcycle trailer through their drive thru. Next time I am thru here I will be sure to stop by! Thank you for a great lunch!

We ate here for lunch while on a cross-country trip. We had friendly and prompt service. The food was good and portions very large. I could barely finish my burger which came with enough fries for four people! I had to leave most of them after the burger. Probably if we stop again we would split a burger basket, leaving room for ice cream. 😋

My husband had a cheeseburger and onion rings. I had shrimp and onion rings. The food was excellent, and well priced. The server -Destiny was kind and attentive. Would highly recommend stopping here.Parking: Parking located in front directly on Highway 54z. Easy access.

My husband is working in Meade and we went and they are a small family owned and very friendly. The food was great! I was sad they were out of fried okra but I found out I like fried pickles(at least theirs anyway). The lady was super nice and her kids who brought our food were sweet

2nd time my wife and I have eaten here over the years as we have passed through Meade. Very dissapointing... service was extremely slow and the fries were just awful (way under cooked and when they tried to make it right with us, the 2nd batch came out like leather). One plus was that the staff was friendly. The whole building and business needs a complete overhaul.

Love this place. It's small, kookie, and kitschy. My kids like the game room the most. Beware the bathrooms are TINY but oh so cool.

Bob's used to be a great place to stop on our way through Meade. Easy to recommend to friends and family too. Unfortunately, the last several times my wife, work friends, or I have stopped by we've been let down. The service was slow (even if we had called ahead), the portions are much smaller, and the quality is just generally disappointing. Hope to see them turn around and get back to the good little place Bob's used to be. Would love to write a five star review if we try it again in the future and things have improved!

Stopped as we passed through town due to the great reviews. Worth it! Due to COVID only the drive through was open. The jumbo hamburgers (half pound) were great as were the shakes and seasoned fries. The tater tots were small disks - like a tater tot cut in thirds. Not my favorite as all crisp and no soft middle, but all else good. The front drive is a U shaped pull through with plenty of room to pull in the RV and toad. We parked the RV in front, called in the order and walked over to pick it up at the drive through. A cute little city park was one minute away and we had a picnic with our burgers there. It was a nice break.

These are the types of places I love visiting. A little mom and pop hole in the wall that knows how to make some delicious food. I also like how involved they are in the community, seen by all the newspaper clippings on the wall. You know it's a great place since it seems like lots of locals eat there. Every time I drive through town I unintentionally end up eating here and never regret it.

Ordered the cheeseburger the patty tasted good but had a little too much mustard for my taste. The shakes are really good. I'd recommend stopping and eating here. Friendly staff.

Yes, they do exist! Bob's Burgers and the tenders and chocolate shakes are to die for! A young scamp with a new age mulletish hair cut and a winning smile made our milkshakes last time, and he did such an awesome job. The foods so so good, whip cream with a cherry on those homemade shakes, and great customer service.
