My wife and I drove up from Hutch to Marquette (cool little off-the-beaten-path Midwest town!) in our Corvette this morning to celebrate the last day of summer, and to visit the Kansas Motorcycle Museum and the Smoky Valley Distillery. We had an amazing experience at both venues. Owner Stan and bar-ma'am Jennifer at SVD welcomed us warmly and made us feel like long-lost family. Thank you both! Great vibe at SVD, plenty of space to chill, soak in the friendly, old-time ambience and enjoy their mouth-watering wares. Trust us, you won't want to leave!

Was in Hutchinson for High School reunion and we decided by we wanted to do some exploring. Did a google search for wineries, breweries, etc and found this place. Trust me, the google maps page doesn't do it justice! This place is awesome and what a find! You drive into this tiny town on the prairie, not expecting much and next thing you know you are sampling awesome vodkas, rums and bourbons at the bar with some really great people from Texas! Best old fashion I have ever had. I'm not a bourbon guy but ended up buying a $100 bottle of bourbon. This place is worth the drive from Hutch or anywhere in the vicinity!

I've been here a few times. Love the straight and plum vodka. Would definitely recommend that if you are in the area to stop in and check them out.

My family and I stopped in today after leaving Kanopolis Lake. LOVED IT!! We will be back and bringing friends!!! The owners were so laid back and the conversation was organic. The couple even brought out toys for my son and made him his own mocktail. The building is beautiful. It sounds like they host a lot of entertainers and food trucks, too. We ended up buying some vodka for home! Marquette is a great family town! Went next door to Ranch House for some bar food and then swam at the community pool! Lots to do in this small town!

WOW! What a generous tasting experience! You can taste several different liquors then have some of your favorites mixed with a Kansas made shrub to make a delicious cocktail. I am not usually a big fan of Bloody Mary's but this one was DELICIOUS! The man that did our tasting was SO great! He was super friendly and just nice to chat with! Worth a short diversion if you are in Kansas. Cross the street for great homemade ice cream!.

We were at the motorcycle museum and Dickson asked have y’all toured the distilleryWe wanted to he made a call and said Stan will be waiting for youYou would have thought we were long lost relatives the way we were treatedToured the distillery he explained the process let us taste test explaining the differencesWe sat there and chatted for a whileThen he told us he had to get ready for Marquette mondays ( local event the town does in Monday’s ) he invited us to join InI’m telling you if you stop in Marquette you won’t want to ever leavePs we bought a bottle of bourbon to take homeAnd we will be back for Friday they’re having a concert there at the distilleryI was told they make the best bloody Mary’s in the whole continental us so we will be back

We saw a billboard on the highway so we decided to stop in and see what it was all about. The family that runs it was awesome. The vodka was so good & I love that they resource from the Kansas area. We will be order more vodka from them.
