What a wonderful experience all around. We will visit often.Our story:My doggo, Hans, has just 🎓 graduated training with Shelby! From the first time she and I spoke, through the end of the last session, Shelby's heart was on her sleeve. She goes above and beyond with her customer service; her professionalism is always sincere and ethical; and her passion for pets truly rivals no other and it shows.Shelby offered extraordinary insight to help me understand Hans' learning style better than ever. She has techniques and patience that are very impressive. Shelby truly loves what she's doing here at Petco (and she's stellar at it) so if you're considering training for your canine, don't hesitate to ask for her.Thank you, Shelby, for everything you did for our family. They definitely lost my business. The animals looked like they were dying with rotten veggies to eat on. The mice have obviously been fighting and there was blood all throughout the enclosure, while all of them were piled on the water bottle to stay away from the aggressive mouse. Feces throughout multiple enclosures and filthy water. And those poor ferrets were boxed in with sooooo many flies.I'm not sure who is managing this location, but they are doing a terrible job. This is definitely animal abuse.The feeder insects are dying, if not already dead. Meanwhile, the employees are less than friendly, no one bothered to greet us or ask if we needed help the entire time in the store, and the older guy that works there is rude as can be. He made it seem like my husband had to buy a creature to even see it.They definitely need to either restructure the ENTIRE location or close down. I have never been to a worse business. It's a shame.

I just moved away. Every time I went in here everyone was so helpful. The employee seemed to care about the animals they worked with. Would definitely rec this place to people

This place has very good customer service. When I go to this store the staff is very friendly and they help me find what I want to buy. I would go back to this store again. I would recommend this store to anyone who has pets.

was a great experience. poor jonah was struggling with an ingrown dewclaw. they took amazing care of him and instructed thoroughly on follow-up care. our primary vet and don't plan on making a change.

I've been coming here for grooming for years! Gina left but Ashley took her place and I've been very happy every time. My dogs are happy too! 😊

Yesterday when I went to go drop off my dog, I went about 20 minutes early they told me that I couldn’t drop off my dog because they did not have any kennels available and that I needed to pick her up right when the service was done because they do not have kennels available, so reschedule my dogs appointment for today When I got there I got there 15 minutes late the Groomer said that I was 15 minutes late that she was not going to service my dog accordingly that she wasn’t going to do the nail trim. I asked why she said because on my dad’s record they said she gets anxious when they work on her nails. I told the groomer to go ahead and try it because in the past, she’s allowed other groomers to do some of the nails. I leave thinking that my dog is going to get service and is in good hands, and is going to be taken care of, and loved I get a phonecall not even 10 minutes of me leaving my dog Saying I needed to pick her up because she did not let them do the nail trim when I got there Meghan and Kelsey were the ones with my dog. Both of them were rude. They were telling me to get my dog and get out of here. I’m talking to the manager and I tell the manager why would they start off with the nail trim instead of the bath? It makes no sense they put a bunch of excuses and they’re still telling me to get my dog to leave because they’re not gonna service her the manager and both groomers were so unprofessional they were so rude and mean to me when I got in my car, I cried so much because I knew for a fact that she did not want to service my dog. I’ve been going there for such a long time and it’s sad that these new workers have no ethics they were mean they were rude they were telling me to leave they kept lying to the manager Making up excuses as to why they weren’t able to do it. It was a terrible service, and I can only imagine how they treated my dog when I was gone. As I’m walking out, I had two clients that were in the store. Stop me and tell me that what they did to me was not fair and that I should speak to a higher manager because they could tell that all the workers have attitudes and we’re being mean to me and my dog. Cierra the manager is rude and terrible.

I went there to buy some bearded dragon stuff and boy did I get a whole education on it from Kaytlyn. I ended up buying way more than I planned on. Kaytlyn is a wealth of knowledge and geez was she right. My bearded boy is all active and seems happier now. Thank you so much Kaytlyn for all your help!!!! Also the manager if you are reading this, dude you a jerk for being degrading to her in front of a customer. Not cool man!

Took my dog in lay week for a shampoo and cut, I'll admit he was a little matted. Anyway, he went on a Cockapoo and came out a Schnauzer. Needless to say that was the first and last time I'll ever take him there.

BAD and POOR GROOMING in my Shih TzuI showed him some photos of the cut style for my Shih Tzu and it turned out horrible. It looks like she was trimmed by a cashier at the store because he cut all her hair off and with lots of strands. She has no style. They damaged the image of my pet.

would not recommend grooming. it was a terrible experience all around, starting with the fact that my dog came home bleeding in several places, it's been over a week and I just found a new scab that I had previously missed. the groomer never asked me what I wanted for his hair cut, they shaved him when I specifically told them not to. He's a doodle but had NO matting, I take it very seriously. Then after all these things they asked me to give the groomer a tip. My tip for everyone else using google reviews is to avoid petco at all costs.

Got rejected of a fish because they said I wouldn’t be able to take care of it even though I have a 29g tank that has been filtering for a couple of weeks.The fish is suffering from a fungal infection from what I can tell and I already have a quarantine tank set up for when my fish get like that and she still told me no. Absolutely terrible experience, she was more than willing to help someone else get the exact same breed of fish but yet told me no? I feel like im being outcasted even though I am fully prepared for a fish whether if it is sick or not.

I had a horrible experience with the grooming service! . May 23 I took Teddy to get a full groom and he came out looking like all he had was a bad haircut. His coat was still wet in areas. They also told me he did bad while being cleaned, in which he always does a great job when he goes to Woof’s. They love him there! I would never take him back to Petco, again. I would rather mess him up myself. He’s still recovering from the messed up cut.Just look at his expressions in both pictures.

Not greeted by a single staff member and when I got Megan's attention she acted like I disturbed her.😒 Maybe more training would help her out. I too used to love coming here but between some of the animals looking depressed and near death to the customer service I'm confused as to why I still come in. The customer service sucks. Hopefully there is some good changes in staff, service and pet management soon.

Absolutely do not buy a fish from here it will die within a couple days every single time! Happened six times for me!!!! And I have had fishes for years and years, know how to take care of fish. I have never had a problem with getting fish before I got a fish from Petco.

Immaculate store. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I was informed my dog bit a groomer in my experience with my dog. He is timid about getting a nail trim. I didn't see him do what the groomer informed me of his behavior.

First I want to say I use to love Petco..But for some reason now I am unable to get the dog food my doggies love! I have ask several times if they could get in more but get the same answer " we don't do the ordering" it's very frustrating! I am currently waiting to hear back from petsmart to see if they can get it in.

While I don't hold Petco in high regard generally, given some negative experiences, our local Petco is an exception.I have received exceptional help when resolving an e- gift card issue, and my outcomes have always been positive with their associates and management.It is unfortunate that the local store has to deal with the inadequate e-commerce/web shortfalls of the company.
