Love this store!!! Great for Ranch supplies, business supplies and home supplies!! Personally, I get my dogs food, since they carry Taste of the Wild and have the "Buy 9 get your 10th bag free" program. Also carry lots of grills, smokers and other random home decore for outdoor use! Great place for the country gift finds!!

Good amount of tack for you horse needs. Even had a few saddles in there. This is a nice local store you should check out if your in the area.

FedEx left a delivery note on my door to pick up at Woodard. I always wanted to check out the store but never got the chance, now was my chance. The store has a lot of cool stuff in it, I even found my dogs favorite food that I couldn't find anywhere. The employees were very nice and welcoming. I will definitely be going back to see what else I can find.I've been going to this store for a year and I never had a bad encounter.

If you have a Traeger, this is the best place in town. They have all the pellets, rubs, sauces, and accessories you could need/want. If you're a Blackstone fan, they are fully stocked there as well. Highly recommend Woodard for the outdoor chefs.

This was the 2nd time I have been here. It has a great selection of items at a range of prices.The reason I'm giving less than stellar review, chick monitoring. We visited during the chick season. One cage had a lifeless looking chick (laying flat on the bottom of the cage eyes closed not moving, it's cage mate was standing next to it). I blew on it to see if it was alive, it barely moved. My husband said it was breathing, just sleeping, and that I was overly concerned, so I didn't say anything. We continued looking around for another 10 minutes. Before we left I circled back to the chick. It had moved 90 degrees but was still lifeless looking. I got the attention of the cashier and pointed it out. She asked me to show her. I took her to the cage. She took a long look and said she would tell someone. She then went back to the register to help a customer. I've worked retail for several years. I would've asked the customer if they would mind waiting while I contacted someone about the welfare of a chick. I'm unsure if she ever did tell someone because I know I get distracted and forget things. I'm not sure how long the chick had been this way before I said something. I hope not long and that it perked up or they humanely euthanized it.

Maybe my fault staff seemed rude and uninterested in me as a customer until a young lady came to help. I say my fault as I went after work and 10 minutes before they closed, not really knowing much about which mulch grade I needed to purchase. I truly hope it wasn't something else 😕

I was surprised to find that this mercantile has a wide range of items. Everything you need to have the best BBQ to providing for lawn care and maintenance, to outdoor decorations such as a variety of wind chimes and fresh meat from local ranchers--they have it all here! Staff I found to be friendly and engaging--there to help you find what you need.If you live in the area, or are passing through, I highly recommend you stop by and check this place out.

As an anniversary present, I decided to buy my wife a chiminea (something she has wanted for quite some time now). I couldn't believe the selection that Woodard Mercantile has to offer, and the prices were unreal. Old, dusty, and used chimineas sell for around 80 dollars on Facebook marketplace, but the brand new one I bought at Woodard was only $100. Plus, the service was really great. One of the staff members carried the chiminea to my car and loaded it for me. Truly a great experience!!

After not visiting for several years, it is nice to see the store still well organized and full of many different items as noted previously.Though not busy at all, I was not welcomed or acknowledged. I walked the store1) to check out what they had to offer and2) to find a specific item.As a horse owner that networks a lot, I oftentimes recommend Woodard's as a place to go for needed items. It's good to know this remains the same.As a customer that day, offered assistance was slow in coming. The help that was offered, was not very knowledgeable about the product I sought. And, not being knowledgeable enough about the product myself, I felt, by questions asked of me, that I was considered stupid by the employees. Tone if voice has a HUGE impact!I have never felt this way before during a multitude of visits in years past. Quite unfortunate experience.

Woodard’s is my go to place for rabbit and dog food. I just came home with a beautiful hanging flower plant as well. The owners are friendly and the staff extremely helpful. I am most appreciative of the staff’s willingness to load my vehicle with mulch and potting soil. I never need to ask for help, it just gets done!

Moved my daughter from Dallas to Maize & this was a convenient location to drop off the Uhaul trailer we rented. Would have been nice if someone was outside to help unhook the trailer.

Beautiful place! I went there just to drop off a Uhaul and when I went inside I wanted to buy everything! They've got the cutest metal signs, local honeys, plant and animal feed and supplies. I highly suggest this place!

I love going here for my baby Chick's and my big Chicken's food ,big bag at a good price and you can get or order if your needing big amount of farm fresh meats and plants and bird feeders and big and little yard statues and much much more!!!Great PEOPLE and all around great place to go....
