I appreciate their quick actions when I had to bring my dog in for an emergency. The doctors were informative of the situation, they took the time to explain what was going on and answered every question I had. All the staff were so supportive, caring, and determined to help Etta. They took time through out the day to update me on Etta's wellbeing. I will always recommend them and will be using them for care from here on out.

They have gone above and beyond to help our pets when emergencies occur and the pricing rates are reasonable, but definitely investing in pet health insurance at some point later down the line. Picture of ruptured abscess we missed poor little guy, They flushed it really good after putting him under and went ahead and neutered him and saved money for Anesthesia made sense. Got vaccines too, why not knock it all out in one go.

Great vet!! My dog got into something and hurt his eye. This vet got my dog in within a couple hours and were very kind and gentle with him. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

The staff are always friendly, and the doctors are very professional. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do my vet care!

Twenty years loyal customer. They treated my Lab Serena for lung cancer and gave her nine extra months of life. Always caring and attentive, they find solutions and take action fast. Now two more dogs are under their cate. I’d be lost without this wonderful clinic and their loving vets and staff.

Nice check up and vaccine trip for my grumpy kitty. She didn't even try and bite anyone. And the clinic cats are super friendly.

Hey everyone at Companion. This is my absolute favorite number one vet we go to. This is Kayla Pastor. We've been going here since 2013 and they are always the best with their great friendly sweet kind caring personalities all of them and they always treat our doggy babies Tikaani Annabelle Lacey and Beau the best like they're family I wouldn't ever dream of going to anyone else. I'd give 10 out of 10 stars if I could:)

I really did not have a great experience here. The techs were all lovely and super sweet, the vet however was not personable at all. That would be fine but he also wasn’t thorough. I took my dog in one time because she was limping, they told me they only had time for a drop off visit-which is totally fine and I was just greatful they could get her in. She was less than a year old and when I came to pick her up the vet had prescribed naproxen, they told me they thought she had joint pain. I thought this was weird because she’s only a puppy, but what do I know. They hardly gave me instructions for the med-which I assume was because it was a drop off visit and they were in a hurry. After a few days on the med my dog was still limping, i finally got my husband to hold her tight so I could get a better look at her paw, and sure enough she had nail with old blood on it that looked broken, and had been chewing at it. The vet didn’t say anything about this at all and I’m pretty sure he didn’t even look at her feet. We trimmed the nail and cleaned it up and she was fine the next day.I have had a few other instances here that were not great either, but thats the most specific one I could think of.

Lack of care for my pets and everyone there seems like they don't want to be there and don't treat you very well

The service was well, I liked the vet tech that came in (she was super sweet and loved on my sweet boy). The actual vet was very nice and informative as he talked to me about my dog and what issues I thought he was having! But, the lady at the front looked at me like I was an alien when I walked in with my dog for his appointment. (I was early due to trying to find somewhere to get him seen at because I was extremely worried about him and got his appointment time mixed up with another vet clinic) So, first impression of this clinic I walked into wasn't a very good one. I was expecting a friendly, accepting atmosphere and I was not greeted with such. She spoke to me like I was a nucince, and was quite rude to me on the phone when I called back for my dogs test results that they said they would call me back - the following morning. But like I said, everything else was decent. The evaluation fee was roughly $46-$50 and then another $40ish for a urinalysis to see if he had a UTI. All in all, I'd take him back if I had to. They did their job.

I worked at this location for not even a year, so I’m on the employee side of this business. Nonetheless, the building was being sold and nobody informed me of this until my last day (July 26th) when I came in for my afternoon shift. Estella told me that I would no longer be working for them, which shocked me because I thought they would’ve let me know so I could get another job lined up, but no… instead they just dropped me.In case you couldn’t already tell, I’m still very angry and disappointed that I was wronged this way. I have autism, and my employers were made very aware of this at my interview. If I were to quit, I’d be required to give a two-weeks notice, yet they can’t be bothered to extend that same courtesy to me. This is no way to treat an employee, much less one with special needs.I would recommend not supporting this company. I want everyone to know that this is how Companion Animal Hospital treats their workers with disabilities.

I've taken two different dogs here for the past 10+ years and haven't ever had an issue. Great customer service, knowledgeable, really good with my dogs. I moved away and started taking my dog to a different vet but didn't feel like that vet was as specialized in small animal so I'm coming back here from now on. When I needed a groom for my Yorkie, the tech groomed him and did a good enough job for me since I wasn't after a show quality groom.Everyone has their own experiences with many different places of business but mine with this business has always been good.

I have been taking my dog Skeeter there for 9 years since he was a puppy. We have had great service both in the day care and the medical care for Skeeter. We moved quite a ways from the west side a while back and I cannot use the day care as much but all in all this is an excellent place to take your pets.

We boarded our dog here while we went on vacation. Paid extra so she could be outside longer and have extra treats. Came to pick her up and she was covered with urine. So bad that her white fur was yellow brown. I pointed it out to the staff and they said she had a accident in her kennel. Well our dog is house trained and can go 10+ hrs without a problem. Makes me wonder if they ever let them out of the kennels. Or get the treats I paid 45 dollars for.

We had been going to another vet that was further away from our home for several years and decided to try Companion since it is just minutes from us. I took in my cat who was acting sick, and sadly he passed away in a couple of days. The staff at the vet was super professional, courteous, and incredibly kind and understanding with us for our loss. We have several other pets and are very happy to keep using companion.

My dog hates the vet and is a load at 85 lbs. They have always been patient with her and she still dislikes the Vet, but is much better now. They take their time with her and have gained her trust. They always remind me when she is about due for shots, so I have plenty of time to fit it in my schedule. The staff has learned what my dog likes and they do a great job with her. I highly recommend them!

I have never had a bad experience at Companion. I have been bringing my dog, Pepper, here since she was a puppy and I have nothing but good things to stay about Dr. Byers and all of his staff. I use another vet for my cats, because I had been established there for years, but if there is ever an emergency or my other vet is unavailable, I feel confident taking my cats to Companion, or any of my other animals. Dr. Byers was even willing to see my chicken when I wasn't able to find a poultry vet nearby on short notice.Estella, the dog trainer, helped to get Pepper off to a great start with their puppy preschool. Sonya, the technician, is very knowledgeable and always treats all of my animals with respect. The assistants and other staff I have interacted with have all been friendly and great. Dr. Byers always answers any questions or concerns I have no matter how silly they may seem (to me at least), and he always does so with a friendly attitude. I am grateful to have a great clinic so close to home.

Dr Trusdel bonded with my dog when I had just adopted him 2 years ago. I was living on the Westside of town where they are located. I have since moved to the Eastside and I still make the drive across town to take my dog. I wouldn't trust my dog with anyone else.

Jessica takes such good care of my baby. I never worry when I drop her off. The staff there is so loving and they believe in a low stress environment for all of their animals. I take my dog there for all of her needs. I have recommended this clinic to many of my friends. I know I will be taking her there for many years to come.

Had to take my grandson's cat to get fixed. It was a fantastic atmosphere I watch the receptionist cat open the door and came out into the waiting room. He was a very friendly cat love the place.

The staff at Companion Animal Hospital has been a blessing to me. They accommodate my busy schedule and are open on Saturdays. I have used their daycare a few times while my dog was boarding and feel better knowing he was able to get out and socialize during his stay. They also have a groomer so I had my dog groomed before I picked him up and he was fresh and clean.I recommend Companion Animal Hospital for all of their services.

Staff and customers don't wear masks during a pandemic and they do not seem very knowledgeable about common veterinary procedures. Completing common procedures extremely inadequate. Facility at last visit had dried blood on the counter in exam room and it seems that the air conditioning hasn't been in proper working order for some time. Went in for a simple nail trim which used to be completed in an adequate fashion but has been underperformed the last 2 times. I should have known better to go back after they refused to put my dog down due to pneumonia, which caused her to suffer for 2 more weeks until she died at home. They are also very quick to try and push for other services and treatments when they are clearly not even completing the issues at hand. I used to like taking my dogs here but this facility overall seems to be going down hill.

Took my 10 week old Bulldog names Gus Gus that I received from my husband for Christmas. Never been to this veterinarian before, but I will say we definitely have a new veterinarian for sure. Dr Steven was wonderful about explaining everything we needed to know, since I never owned a bulldog. 5 stars for sure. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable with our experience.

Missie LOVES to come see you. Most recently she had her teeth cleaned. We babied her with soft food for a couple of days. She had a positive experience there. As all of our stays & visits with you have been. The staff is very compassionateand caring and always willing to help with any need. We are very thankful for allof the knowledge and skill shared in the care of our Missie. God's Blessings.

I cannot express enough gratitude for Companion's care and guidance during a pet emergency. They were so helpful and accommodating during a very stressful time and treated our pet beautifully. If you are in need of a new vet, this is the place. Thank you all!

Took my dog here a year ago because she started to limp and her ankle looked like it was swollen. They said she just broke her leg and it would heal on its own. Took my dog to a different vet because her leg was swollen again. They took an X-ray and figure out she never had a broken leg but she had a cancerous tumor on her leg. They said if the other vet would have taken a X-ray they would have seen it. The tumor is now to big to be taken out and the cancer has spread to her lungs. They give my dog only a month left to live. This place will not help your dog. They just want your money. Take your dog somewhere else.

Thank you to the staff at Companion Animal Hospital for the awesome attention we received during our last visit. Val was very accommodating and friendly while scheduling our appointment. The care we received was also above and beyond. Until you experience their "low stress" philosophy in action, you won't understand it. They use treats, pheromone diffusers and their staff members are trained in handling techniques. The animal is hardly aware they are at a vet clinic! We love this idea - check them out.

Our dog was sick, and we took her to the nearest clinic which happened to be this one. They helped our dog, but we will not be returning. We had an agreed upon payment, and when I came to pay it, they wanted to charge me $300 more than what we were told on the phone. I told them I would pay the amount we’d agreed upon. They then refused to give us our dog. During the day, my wife had to call them three times to ask about updates on our dog, and they never mentioned the up charge or initiated the communication. We will not be returning.

I am a previous employee here. There is a lot about this place that people do not know about besides the employees themselves. The kennels for boarding: inside the boarding kennel room is complete concrete floors along with very little windows in the room itself to let in natural light. The dogs get left in the dark 90% of the time. In the kennels themselves there is concrete floor for your dog to lay on. The only “bed” your dog gets to lay on is a metal rack on the floor that is made of STEEL. After the kennel is cleaned it is not properly dried completely to where there is no water left what so ever, so your dog is laying on a cold, hard, wet, metal and concrete floor. The dogs in boarding only get let outside max two times a day and only get fed two times a day. The dog yard for boarding and daycare dogs do not have any grass or even Astro turf. The yards have nothing but gravel rocks and dirt.Day care: Daycare is alright but some of the practices is unethical. Like for instance “doggy nap time.” The dogs are placed in a kennel for two hours without being let out to go pee or poop. They whine and cry to be let out. Their cries are ignored. The clinic closes for lunch so I can understand with the dogs being in the kennel for an hour but should be no longer than that if a person is at the clinic. The kennels stress a lot of the dogs out. There isn’t a big variety of toys for the dogs to play with either. Just Kong balls and Little Tykes play slides for toddlers.Veterinary practices: The vets at this clinic are unprofessional and will push you to make a decision on what to do with your animal. They are not precise about certain things like finding a vein to inject fluids or making your animal comfortable after it endured something horrific. They vets will NOT let you stay with your pet if your pet is dying or in a large amount of pain.Prices: prices are ridiculously expensive for how the animals are treated and for how professional this clinic is. They WILL take your money. Be prepared to be broke if you come here. They don’t care about their animals or their welfare they just care about making money.Training: I’ve never had any of my dogs trained at this clinic but the trainers do not seem qualified or know what they are doing exactly.Cleaning: the clinic is very sanitary. I perhaps though think the clinic is too sanitary as they clean your pets bowl with BLEACH. WHICH CAN BE HARMFUL TO YOUR PET IF NOT USED PROPERLY. THEY DO NOT USE THIS BLEACH METHOD PROPERLY.This clinic has unethical, unprofessional, malpractices. Do not come here unless you want your dog mentally abused or euthanized for no reason just so they can take $400-$1000 out of your pocket.
