This charming store is a great place to spend some time … whether it’s a dash in to grab one of their homemade treats, such as muffins, scones, marcons, cupcakes and candies, accompanied by numerous flavors of hand-crafted smoothies, or freshly brewed coffees and teas … or like me, you may end up spending a couple of hours looking through all of the amazing and unique treasures they have available, at very reasonable prices.In addition to the home-baked goods offered each day in the store, you can also pre-order cinnamon rolls by the dozen.There is a cute in-store “Porch”area with some tables and chairs, where are you can sit a spell and enjoy any of the homemade treats, while visiting with friends and neighbors, catching up on the latest news or town gossip. You also may have an opportunity to talk with someone just passing through.Their Grocery area has unique offerings of flavored popcorns, salsas, fruit spreads, bagged coffees and such.Such a varied collection … everything from period glass to vintage comic books … classic books for both children and adults, to charming, homemade signs … seasonal decorations and towels (hand-sized or kitchen sized), and decorative pieces that would look just great in that special spot in your home.I have included quite a few pictures, because the store has so many interesting and varied offerings, that it’s impossible to list but a small portion of them here. But you’ll see in the pictures a better glimpse of all the store has to offer.For us previous Ellinwood residents, the building is located on Main Street in the building, once occupied by Rexall Drugs for many decades (where we spent much of our childhood enjoying soda, fountain treats at the counter, or in the big wooden booths).Something to look forward to is the fact that this business purchased the big Rexall Drugs sign, and is having it completely refurbished. When completed, they will be putting it up on the side of their building for all to see and enjoy, evoking warm and nostalgic memories of our past.Stop by for friendly and helpful service and assistance by mother/daughter team Debbie Glenn and her daughter Brittney (the “two chicks”) and maybe even a rare sighting of Debbie’s husband Kirk, the SOB (“some old bird”).

Definitely one of my favorite stores. So friendly and nice. I don't ever have enough time to look at all the unique and awesome things. They make amazing smoothies too! Always a pleasure to come see what's in store. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
