Visiting the area and decided to swing by this gifts store. Oh my heart was jumping for joy! They sell a lot of wonderful things. The staff here are also incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. I got me a cute troll and a Dala Horse. This is definitely a must stop for anyone visiting the area.

What a cool store, in a weird town! Great conversationalists, very informative. Super nice. Little pricey, but it is Scandinavian stuff, so it usually is. Might come back for the festival. Cool products. Delicious sweet! Thanks!

Cute little Scandinavian shop - great place to stop for a souvenir, gift, or card! And they make their dala horses in the workshop in back!Shop keepers were very friendly, gave us directions to other local attractions, and helped us get a picture in front of the dala horse in front.And clean restrooms on site! Highly recommend!

The best store in Lindsborg. The only really Swedish thing that made Lindsborg feel worth the stop. Fun to see the shop where things are made right there. Pricey, but not something you see every day!

Lovely people running this shop - between them and their wall of gnomes, we were totally charmed. They even let folks get on their massive dala horse outside and take photos for you !Lindsborg is quirky, delightful and warmly welcoming - Hemslojd exemplifies all the characteristics of its community.

Hemslojd is a retail store of imported swedish and Norwegian goods. The owner is also a local artisan with a studio to make and customize Dala Horses in the back.The variety of goods on display include both practical offerings for the house and whimsical toys, t-shirts, and gifts.The prices are steep - be warned - however the conversation pleasant, the experience friendly, and some items are otherwise difficult to find in the Midwest.

Hemslojd carries everything Scandinavian. From Tomptes to books to food. You can find anything that has to do with Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland. They're located in a small town Lindsborg also known as Little Sweden. I will definitely be back!

Cutest gift store around very friendly customer service. We walked around and looked at everything never felt pressure to buy but of course we did if you ever get a chance to go to Lynsburg Kansas you must go to the souvenir gift shop area wonderful people.

This was an interesting stop in our day. We were in town for Waffle Fest and enjoyed walking around downtown. We rented the quadricycle and the whole family was able to laugh as we tried to navigate and ride together! It was a fun time for laughs though we didn't get far and after going around the block once we were done haha. I love this little shop. The kids found the wood workshop interesting and the staff was helpful in answering their questions.

This store has a wide variety of authentic and high-quality Scandinavian merchandise, primarily Swedish. There is also a workshop where for customized items, such as Dala horse signs. Compared to the same type of shop where I live on the East Coast, the prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. The website is robust and the catalogue is well designed, for those folks who don’t have the opportunity to shop in person. I love this place and look forward to shopping, whether online, via phone, or in person.

Hemslojd, Inc. is a fantastic little gift shop. There is a workshop in the back of the store where craftsmen work, but we arrived later in the day after they finished for the day. The trinkets are all beautiful, but the merchandise is a bit pricey. All in all, Hemslojd is a great stop for every Swede and every Swede at heart!!!

Wonderful cultural place to stop for Swedish gifts! Friendly people and an artist creating Dala Horses in the next room. There was a nice horse named Jack across the street doing carriage rides. We plan to come back for the fall festival.

Had a nice conversation with the employees and a few other customers while there.Seeing some of the things there brought back fond memories of my Swedish grandfather and Norwegian grandmother and a lot of the Scandinavian foods we ate growing up at Christmas time.Was a great time reliving the memories while shopping in their store.I only live about 15 miles away and will definitely make more return trips.
