I have been buying fish at fish world for quite a while. All of my tanks are stocked from Fish world. They are all healthy. Tim is very knowledgeable & willing to give advice and answer questions. He breeds a lot of his fish in his store. I haven't had any issues with the fish I've gotten from here. I highly recommend fish world & will continue to get my fish here.

They have a wide selection of high quality fish. I was in aw at the colors and vibrancy of all of.the fish in the store. The owner was very kind and willing to help get me exactly what I was looking for.

The guy there is very nice and really respectful and the fish that we bought they are still alive we got them last year and they are getting bigger and rn we got a big tank so we bought more and I hope that guy has a good day bro he is the best guy ever

Great selection, great prices and Tim is super knowledgeable and helpful! I love going into fish world to get my fish, customer service means something!!! I know if if I have a question Tim knows an answer and is willing to share his knowledge. Sure it smells like fish it’s a fish store! Tanks may be a little old and hard to see in but I like knowing my fish are in water with beneficial bacteria and are always healthy. I will always check Fish World first when I need something!

We got fish from him and within 4 hours they were dead. We did EVERYTHING he told us to do. Including putting bacteria water HE gave us to put in our water. Went back with water to test & he tried to tell us we had too much ammonia in our water. We had the city test our water & they said no we DO NOT have ammonia in our water. City said that he had to have had it in his "bacteria water" he gave us to put in our tank. So we went and got distilled water, cleaned everything Again, & went back and bought more fish. This time he tells us to put iodized salt (2 tsp.) in the tank, a freshwater tank, & the next morning...all 10 fish we bought from him were dead! We spoke with an actual fresh water fish expert & she told us that tanks Do Not need added bacteria to the tank, Never add regular table salt like he said to do to your tank & the fact that his tanks are Nasty green covered in gunk that his fish are not healthy. He killed our fish! He does not know what he is doing or talking about! Please Please Do Not buy fish from him, & especially for your children because they will be heart broken like my daughter was. I will be calling the state concerning him because he does NOT need to be in business-he is cruel to the fish killing them & he is a fraud- selling fish that are bacteria infected, & telling customers the wrong thing to do with their tanks & fish that result in them dying. We have since gone to Ward's & Petco in Garden and have 15 gorgeous fish & they are thriving!

Just to offer some constructive feedback, the smell of mold isn’t healthy for the owner, if he is renting he should consider moving or telling landlord to fix it. I know keeping up with many tanks clean is a pain but at least dividing a few tanks per day to clean would definitely help out, at least that’s what I used to do when I worked at petsmart, at least the front glass to be able to see the fish would be helpful. The fish looked healthy but not being able to see them clearly was a dealbreaker. Price tags would be really nice, a bit of tidying up around the shop wouldn’t hurt either, seeing trash on the floor was a bit sad. He does have a nice variety of fish and at a close distance too, I might go back in the future and give it a try again.

I have bought ALL my fish there and they are all doing good and are very healthy. The owner is SUPER friendly and very knowledgeable. He always answers any questions i have even when I just call the store to ask a question he's always very friendly and has no problem helping. All his information has been correct as far as what fish can live together (unlike petco which needs to educate their staff). As for the bad reviews about the smell and cleanness, ignore them, obviously it's going to have a smell it's a FISH store. Also the tanks are not supposed to be spotless because fish need bacteria to be healthy. I have tested the water before when I've gotten fish and it's always in perfect condition. Don't listen to those reviews because obviously those people are not educated. And yes there are a dead fish sometimes but i have NEVER been to a petstore that didn't have dead fish in their tank. I 10/10 recommend!

Tim is so nice and helpful, he helped me and my dad a lot when we brought our fish there. he let us know the temperature and what fishes can be in the same tank but overall its good

Love the fish here. They don’t die in a week like other places I’ve bought fish. The owner is very helpful with info needed to care the fish. And there’s always an interesting variety. Highly recommend!!!

I see a lot of reviews regarding the condition of this store. I know he just moved and I don't know what it was like before the move, but what I saw was a store that was in the process of being set up. I think what people are referring to is the algae and diatoms in some of the tanks, which may be unsightly to look at, but is by no means unhealthy for the fish. He is breeding Ancistrus and could be using it to provide a food source for new babies. Unless you ask, you don't really know. I purchased a nice school of Praecox Rainbows and a couple of Rams and they were all very healthy. The dwarf rainbows are a beautiful addition to my 75 gallon and they adjusted very quickly. The quality of the water and health of the fish is more important than how shiny and clean the tanks look. I tested the water that the fish came in and the parameters were all perfect, and the prices were more reasonable than you can find anywhere else. I will definitely be returning for more fish.

The owner is very knowledgeable and has vast experience. But if you are looking for a super organized retail store, this is not it. I was looking for healthy fish that were taken care of properly and looking for information about which fish were appropriate, so I was pleased!

Only fish store in liberal at the moment. Good quality fish. The owner has never led me astray. Place is a little dirty but one man taking care of all those tanks and fish and I can't fault the guy. Also sells crickets and meal worms. Great guy always willing to help. He definitely cares about the hobby something that is rare at the chain stores.

Honestly the best fish shop around the area, all the fish are healthy and well taken care of. When I buy fish from petco some of them always die when I bring them home but this place the fish are always great

I chose 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. Negative wasn't an option. This store was the most disgusting place I have ever been to. The place smelled badly. There every single one of the tanks were NASTY and unkept. You could barely see through the glass on most tanks. Unbelievable and unacceptable!!! I was so upset. I told the guy at the counter he needed to get those tanks clean and his store was disgusting!! I wouldn't recommend. Should be reported!!!

I also chose I star cause this place is horrible and zero was not an option. Those fish are kept in horrible conditions....the place smells of mold and mildew. The tank sizes for the fish were not proper sized tanks for the size of the fish. I asked about some fish,he said he was keeping them for somebody-I sure would NOT ask them to look after any of my fish.
