3 * because, No customer service in sight, couldn't find anyone and needed help, when I finally did get help, after walking through the whole store 2×, went to the front to ask the lady at the register, that was there when I walked in the store! I thought was also gone, (she was hard to see), because she was hunged down looking at her phone, and blocked by this mase-stands of products that you have to go through to get to the registers... He wasn't any help ...otherwise a nice store has lots of choices. Would get 5* if customer service was better. So far its been unsatisfactory when i shopped their...

I just started to buy products at Ace Hardware Store in Leavenworth Kansas about 9 months ago. I get great deals every time I shop there I find some incredible discounts. This Store has a huge collection of Treager spices and marinades. The employees are top notch.Recently I needed a very small hardware item. I went to Home Depot and they didn't have it. I also went to Harbor Freight and they did not have this size. They suggested I go to Westlake which I did. Their employee walked over to the largest aisle of hardware I have ever seen. Within a few minutes he found exactly what I needed.I have taken advantage of their discounted prices for hanging plants in the last week.I highly recommend checking out this Leavenworth Kansas gem.

Went to get pool chemicals....grabbed an item listed for $12.99 but rang up $50.99. They went and seen they were put there but not meant to be there so told me about a similar item for $19.49. They didn't even care the item was not stocked properly and didn't even offer to make it right by maybe dropping the $19.49 item to $12.99 to price match. This is why I do not shop here, the staff is not customer oriented. They didn't even apologize about the situation.

Fantastic selection for what I would consider to be a smaller hardware store. I have been in bigger hardware stores that have had much less selection. Staff is always polite and helpful but usually a little busy and you might have to wait a few minutes to be helped. I go here often because they almost always have what I am looking for in a hardware store.

I was greeted pleasantly as soon as I entered the door. The cashier was very helpful and knew her products. I forgot my change when I left with the assistant in the proper area, she called him to notify me. The assistant was very polite and friendly.

LOVE this place! The remodel was a great update. They carry the special Science Diet dog food that has been very hard to find and at a good price. We will keep coming back for the friendliness and the knowledge of the team. AWESOME STORE

Standing at the checkout out and a guy walks out w a large box. Employees asking, then yelling at him to bring back, come back and he just gets on his bike and rides off. Shame someone couldn't physically stop the battery but that the new way.Love the store and the people. Hope too much theft will not force the closure of the store.Damn dope heads!

This store has a variety of things for home, outdoors, seasonal decor, and my favorite, unique gifts from past era's that are awesome. They also carry some of the best taffy in our area. Right now outdoor features, plants, flowers are 40%off. Pleasant employees will help you find anything you're looking for. Great experience for sure!!

A few days ago I went into my local West lake hardware store in mind of picking out thanksgiving yard decorations. Sales manager Maria helped me find everything I was needing in my price range and was super nice and patient with me! On Sunday, I was looking for a leaf blower/vacuum at the store, after first looking at a big box store down the street. The young man who helped me was great! He showed me how the one I was interested in worked, made sure I could hook it up, helped pick out an electrical cord. Best service I’ve had for a long time! Thank you ! This store has a great nuts and bolts hardware selection and very diverse selection of door and cabinet parts, snap rings, pins all kinds of stuff that you need when working on a project. Not very busy and they have great service!

This is the second place I visit in town when I need something. I usually go to gronis Hardware first and then I come to Ace Hardware. And then only go to the Home Depot if I absolutely have to. Ace Hardware has great employees. Do you need to get a screen done on your house? They can do it! They are always very helpful. Check out the Closeouts. They have pretty good deals. I wasted an afternoon and a lot of money in gas driving to another location to return an item that they wouldn't return. I went to this store and although they couldn't return my item because it was purchased at another store they did take the time to look up the receipt and information. They were all very nice and helpful! I would come back to this store for any of my future purchases! They know what they are talking about here and how to run their store!
