Disrespectful employees who blame the customer when they, the pharmacy, forget to fill the prescription. Nevermind that the automated service calls and texts that the script is ready. I could overlook this except for the fact that the employees talk with disrespect and attempt to lie about insurance not working or the doctor didn't write the prescription.

If you enjoy being treated with disrespect, including: being talked down to, (I asked an older pharmacy person why she was being so rude to me? I told her she was making me nervous, because of it. She replied "I am not being rude to you!" I told her that I felt she was, and started a sentence with, I am a customer...she hung on me., in the middle of that sentence. She was very rude in my needing help with a prescription I was to run out of. I was nothing but kind to her. As I always am. I was told the day before that I had to call next day because I needed a pharmacist's help, and not a floating one. So doing as I was told...this was the treatment I got. Being hung up on, snapped at, and talked down to...I was a total inconvenience to this woman, Barb. It's not the first time I am receiving this kind of attitude at this Walgreens pharmacy. But this was definitely a shock. The automated system has been terrible for a long time. It gives false information, has you confused, and driving to get a pick up, just to be told...it isn't ready. Than being told...it's you, that has made the mistake. After today I am leaving this walgreens. I just hope wherever I change to; I am not treated in such a shabby way. I am 68 and I have had many jobs where my job security, was based on my treatment of people I had to interact with. This woman is older. Even if age shouldn't matter, she at least...should know better. I would recommend finding a kinder place.

I would give them a zero if I could. I have been in to pick up the same prescription multiple times and it’s still not ready. They seem to think that people have all the time in the world to come in multiple times.The most inept pharmacy I’ve ever worked with.

I went to refill a prescription and they told me my insurance would not cover it that I needed to pay outright which was more than I could afford. They said the reason was because I had "already refilled this prescription within the last month". I had not refilled this prescription in over a year and a half becausenit is on an as needed basis... So I called my insurance provider and they said the reason they declined to pay for it was because instead of selecting quantity 1 the person selected quantity 6.7... So my insurance provider thought that I was trying to fill 6.7 refills all at once!! I only wanted 1... I had to get on a conference call with my insurance provider and the pharmacist to walk them through their mistake. They were very snippy and rude towards my insurance provider though they patiently explained how to process my prescription properly for 1.

Sat in Drive thru for *45* minutes. Pharmacist was terribly rude. When I mentioned this he starts rattling off all his degrees and qualifications then tells me I am more rude for saying that to him.DO NOT get your meds here or do any business here ever.

Terrible service. Canceled my prescription and said they were out of stock at every pharmacy. Didn't even read my meds to me to make sure they were the right ones. Didn't ask for my ID for verification.

They have a rude guy working there... slow and ignore you when waiting in line, filling the meds into the shelves, had 1 person on register 3 were filling the basket, without ever looking to the people waiting in line... "the worst thing is, they gave me someone else's medication with my name on it, the prescribing Dr. Isn't my Dr. ... good thing I noticed, I could have had serious complications or even killed, who knows...it was a heart medication, I already take 2 for my heart and BP... worst pharmacy I been too.

I've had more than one issue with this pharmacy in the year we have lived here. Their communication is mediocre and they don't understand that it's not what you say, but how you say it. I've worked in retail management, in a Walgreens no less, in the past and this pharmacy honestly comes across like they just don't care. The first issue I had was when they mixed up my prescription with someone else's and literally gave me someone else's meds. Thankfully I check before using anything because it had my name on it with the other persons meds in the bottle. I called and they asked me to bring them back. I did, because I understand mistakes get made but that was my first red flag. Last night my husband picked up an rx that had increased in price by over $70. I called this morning and the girl on the phone was so rude! She strongly insisted to me that they had not made a mistake bc there are no mistakes in billing. If the information is entered correctly, yes I get that but there can always be mistakes made. I called my insurance and got it straightened out with a representative who was so much nicer. Seriously, when did customer service go by the wayside? I've already moved all my my family prescriptions and will not be going back to this one. I may return to Walgreens after we leave this town in two years but it definitely won't be in Leavenworth.

They always have what I need. I like their makeup and shampoo section. So much nicer than the big box stores. You can buy medicine and a snack at the same place. I will always go here.

I've lived here since 2019 and have been using this store for that long. I keep hoping that it get better, but it never does. Specifically with regard to getting prescriptions filled. I can't understand WHY it takes so long (over 24 hours) to get a prescription filled. The most recent incident for example. My doctor prescribed a medication electronically to this store at 1318 on the 24th. I was discharged from the hospital between 1530 and 1600. On the way home from the hospital I called the Walgreens and they said they had no idea what I was talking about and that no prescriptions had been send over. Seriously? So, OK, I'm in significant pain and I can't get my prescription filled. I call a few hours later, same story, call again before closing, same story. No idea about a prescription. I called today, this time the automated system tells me I have a prescription but it hasn't been worked yet, call back a couple of hours later, no change, call back in a couple of hours, IT'S READY!. What time does the pharmacy close on Thanksgiving? 1700. That's what posted to the automated system. So, my daughter drives me to the store at 1645, and the windows are closed and a big sign on the window that says no pharmacist on duty. Sickening lack of respect for the customer, not to mention, why didn't I get a text message letting me know my order was ready? That's what I opted in for. No message, no phone call, nothing. This is routine for this store unfortunately so I'm changing my pharmacy to either Walmart or CVS. Might not be any better but it sure can't be any worse.

The store is always spotless and the staff is kind, knowledgeable. I've been going for years and there is a smile from an employee each time. However, the wait is so long most every time I've been, that there have been many times I've left either the drive through lane or the waiting area inside. When I say a long time, I mean it. Solution? For me it was moving all my prescriptions to Walgreens delivery so they come straight to my mailbox. If you have the ability to do that, I highly recommend it.

I needed one of my scripts filled so last night I went on the Walgreens app to have it filled it popped up that I need authorization from Dr I clicked on it didn't hear from Dr or Walgreens so I did it again and then I called Walgreens and asked if they got it she said she'll submit it to my Dr and I asked if it showed up on the app that it was submitted she said I haven't went through the messages . Do I'm taking it that non of messages had been read all day

Usually very helpful and assisting if needed in retail area. I have had some issues in the recent past with the pharmacy on orders for my wife's regular medication, but that has now finally been hashed out. I have noticed increasingly better service from the pharmacy lately. I always have a pretty good experience in overall shopping and help within the general store. I would recommend if your getting a prescription through the pharmacy here though and it is not supposed to be filled with a generic to absolutely verify its wrote to fill as written no generics otherwise it will in fact be filled as a generic.

I went to go fill a prescription and the pharmacy tech Lauren K. Was completely unprofessional and rude. She did not want to do her job correctly, she was quick to get an attitude in her voice and was snippy. I was trying to explain something to her to make things easier and she was not listening and kept interrupting. I can not believe they hire such unprofessional employees.

The Leavenworth store is unbelievably unreliable! I have never had a prescription ready when promised. I have about an hour's round-trip drive to get to this pharmacy and have had to wait for more than an hour even when giving them three or four hours (sometimes days!) more than they said they needed. My mother has several critical medications that she can't miss so I can't count on this Pharmacy to take care of our needs.

Picking up prescriptions here is an all day event. I have waited in line for an hour once. Today their lunch time is over at 1400 and yet I'm still sitting here with 3 cars in front of me, Haven't moved an inch in 30 minutes - it's now 1430. :/0/10 don't recommend.

This is the absolute worst Walgreens I've ever dealt with.This is the third or fourth time I've been up here and not been able to get my prescription filled because they sent it to a different Walgreens.And when I asked him to transfer it they said it's going to be a little while. It ends up being 30 or 40 minutes. I can literally go to the one in Bonner Springs and get it transferred to save messed up send it to another one in less than 5 minutes.Only taken an hour and a

Recently moved out here had to switch to this pharmacy location. Very happy with the service I continously recieve. Rather walking in or drive thru the pharmacy give fast service. All the pharmacist are nice and make sure to explain any new med you recieve. Also will call to check to see if you have any new questions. Another thing I love is when you call they answer the phone.Update: The pharmacy can be very busy if estimated a pickup time add another hour before going. Sometimes all your meds will not be ready. I would love if they added a better selection of adult diapers instead of only adult underwear.

I love my Leavenworth Walgreens pharmacy. I've been going here for years. The staff has always been helpful and accommodating to my needs. Sometimes the lines can get lengthy and the wait can be very long. However it's usually due to being short staffed and those amazing people trying to get all those orders done quickly. So next time you're in line for an hour, know you're not the only one they're trying to help. Being patient and kind will get you a lot further than yelling at the pharmacy tech because your orders not ready yet. I've been in there when there's only one tech and a pharmacist trying to fill a million and one orders. Also remember they're making sure you get the right meds and you don't have any reactions to what they're filling for. More importantly their job is to make sure you don't die, so cut them some slack when you're being impatient.

Store is gross, not kidding. Went to use the male restroom on 26 September 2020 and the toilet seat was completely covered in dried poop.It was obvious no one had cleaned the restroom in a very long time.No one cares at this store, I’m never going back.

Filled a prescription for my daughter that was sent over by Walmart because they unfortunately were out of what she needed. Walgreens tried charging me $200 for something Walmart was charging me $15 for. When I called Walmart to tell them I’d just wait till they got it in because of the price Walgreens wanted their staff went above and beyond to call and investigate for me what was going on. Turns out Walgreens can’t even read a prescription the right way and was trying to give me something my daughter wasn’t even prescribed. Walmart called me back to tell me Walgreens would call me and let me know when the right thing was ready for pick up. Never received a call back. Looks like we’re waiting for it to be in stock with Walmart.

The wait time to receive a flu shot was 45 minutes, after waiting in line for 10 minutes. The staff was rude and unapologetic for the unorganized pharmacy. The manager on duty was not helpful and admitted they could not handle the volume of flu shots. Very unprofessional.

The pharmacy drives me crazy. No one answers the phone and the wait time for the pharmacy is ridiculous. I've sat in the drive thru for over 45 minutes three times in recent months. Unfortunately going inside to wait isn't any faster.
