The store was very hot and the line was very long. They only had 1 register going and 3 other employees behind the counter! When I was up next I asked the employee if the air conditioners were not working and he said well I guess we still have the heat on! I told him that everybody in this long line is sweating and he just shrugged his shoulders and did not reply to me. This is perfect example of how self absorbed people are and how they are only concerned about them selves.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! boxes stacked in isles no carts were even available cause ALL of them were filled with random merchandise to the top they ahvent out up yet. Kids toy isle is insane and not okay at all. Guys behind counter looked high on drugs very bad and forgot some people were in line. People smelled HORRIBLE and didn't care about doing anything in the store just shut it down at this point cause I wouldn't even work here with those people . Rude, inconsiderate, and filthy.

This store has been going downhill fast in the last year … merch is never on shelves . Just all in boxes in the aisles. Boxes sometimes stacked up so high to the point where you can’t get to the merch you need setting behind the boxes. Line is always long. The other day I waited in line for so long just to be told they can’t sell me the product I had because it was discontinued and they still had it on the shelves … Honestly just get rid of the store and put a chipotle there or something better. Hopefully the new dollar tree opening up will be better than this because it’s now just an inconvience to even go to this store in the first place. I’ve worked retail all my life this is just unacceptable.

I had an awesome experience as the young man working let me know that the door mat I was buying was on sale for BOGO free and to go get another so I miss out on the sale as it was the last day of the sale. I ended up with 2 beautiful door mats for $10.00!!😁😍

They are not pick up the calls and they shown in google that shop is open when I arrive 1 mile by walk I see that was closed.

Better management is needed, if they need help they should pay their employees more. Also, why does this place always feel really tense, like everyone's afraid to talk while waiting in a line that usually takes a while anyway? A poor employee tried to make small talk while in line and people were just ignoring him like they were scared or uncomfortable to talk or something, and I was the only one replying, and I have crippling social anxiety lol. Really weird, tense vibes from people everytime I go here. Lighten up people, it's dollar general.

Always so cluttered you cant get around. Drive by and 2-3 employees outside smoking but yet never can find any when ready to checkout. Female clerks at register are usually extremely friendly and helpful. And usually a long line and long to me is not 2-3 people. But 5-6 different buggies and they never yell for back-up or get in any hurry.

I have never seen such a messy... disorganized... dirty Dollar General before...I AM willing to change my review though if they organize their inventory, unblock pathways, and don't just toss products on the very top of shelves. (I swear some of the stuff there has been there for AWHILE - saw dust - it's obvious they're not circulating items like they should be.)**I am giving 3 stars, instead of 1 because the employees are VERY kind and helpful. :)

Love that the store now carries fresh produce and has been remodelled! Hopefully customers are respectful and return the items they no longer want to where they picked them up from. I saw things like frozen pies in the cleaning section and other items out of place. So then employees have to spend time fixing that instead of restocking shelves and such.

Love this Dollar General. I have a husband on Hospice and I only have an hour to get to the store grab what I need and be back at home. These people always nice and helpful. They move me along so I can get back. I love the the variety and great values I get here.

The people their are always great. And very polite. The people of this dollar general are polite and always helpful in finding things you're looking for. I quite often head down their since its within walking distance and they have almost everything i come down for. Definitely worth a stop if you dont want the crowds of Walmart and price chopper and wanna see a few friendly faces.

Good location and staff is always friendly. There is a pothole in the driveway that you have to maneuver around otherwise the parking lot is big enough to accommodate their clientele. The only thing I would recommend for this store is have a second entrance/exit. Only one can be problematic when there is a stream of people entering or exiting. but as I have said other than that there is nothing wrong with this location or anybody in it. I enjoyed going here. Prices are reasonable and selection is okay. They even have a Redbox outside.

Great place to shop. People who work there are nice. They are probably overworked at the moment, but are still polite. They need to organize the shelves better. But I understand why they are having problems doing that...

Aside from small aisles, the store is always stocked with everything you'd expect at a Dollar General. The store was recently remodeled and now includes a larger food section and a new fresh produce section. The store looks nice. Items reasonably priced.

I'd love to give a great review, but unfortunately this property is in dire need of a solid team and a good clean up. In the three years that I have lived in Leavenworth I have never seen this place clean. The aisles are impossible to navigate and the floors are crowded with misplaced items and clutter. The folks working there are always kind, but I never see the same faces. I feel this property needs to be shut down for a week or so in order to fix and organize everything inside. I'm not asking for pristine, but if I cannot push my cart through the store because of filth, this is a problem.

The best run Dollar General in the area. The shelves were fully stocked and they had two cashier's working. Even though they were very busy the wait was short and the clerk was friendly when she checked me out.

I went to this location after the remodel was completed and will attest that the place is in a much better condition than it was previously. The staff was very helpful and the customer service was fantastic. I have a feeling that the building has come under new management and I wish them the best for the future as they strive to keep up their top tier service when comparing to other dollar generals I have been to.

DG not known for "roomy" and clutter free aisles. Check out area is awkward. Not wheelchair friendly due to aisle constantly blocked with inventory cage carts & "extra" floor display...always so cluttered! And they never seem to keep certain items in stock every time.

This particular store is almost always a mess. When I stopped in for a few things yesterday there appeared to be only one employee working. There were at least six people in line, and a second employee arrived to help out. They mentioned that the computers were down, and the lock to the ice chest was frozen. At one point there were eight people in line and the store was still a mess. I would like to commend the two working as they remained fairly professional despite their work environment.

It's a typical Dollar General Store. There are some good deals in there however, trying to find stuff sometimes can be a bit chaotic as things don't get put back in their place all the time. But then I guess that's to be expected. Staff has always been friendly during my multiple visits.

Dirty store and no merchandise on the shelfs. Why don't any of the stores have the help they need to keep the shelves stocked? I'ts like this in just about every store I have been in in the last week. I went to 7 different stores and they are all the same. The merchandise is in the boxes they were shipped in in the isles and not on the shelves.

Just remodeled this one and it looks as if they Never Did. 1 of the workers were very rude, had a product that was 2 for 5 or $3.00 each. Was charged $6.25. When I got into the car looked at receipt and saw what was done, I went back in and showed the mgr. (the rude one), said oh you were given the discount. I tried to show her but was told to move she had to help a customer (there was no one ready to check out). Was told if I did t trust her I could leave and oh dont come back. Will NOT GO BACK. I can get mistreated in nice places.

New addition of fresh produce makes this store a convenient one stop shop. The selection is small, but it's good for quick visits and for those who don't wish to shop at large supermarkets. Like my husband pointed out, it's like a mini Walmart.

Low inventory. They continuously have Robles with cash registers causing huge backups at the 1 registr ther haveoen while 3 employees mess with problem register. This has gone on for months.

This store is a complete wreck. Theres merchandise everywhere, on the floors all over the shelves unstocked correctly. The store is dirty and the staff members look like they just walked in off the street. There were numerous isles you could not even walk down dues to plast bins stacked 4 and 5 high in the middle of the isle. I literally stepped in something I believe to be vomit but one could not speculate. The parking lot shows no better with trash everywhere. Shopping carts scattered about. A broken down car occupied one spot. They tried real hard to exhibit some sort of sale with items thrown on a shelf infront of the store. This place is a disaster. It shows that no corporate or management has been in this area in sometime. Make sure your tetanus shots are up to date prior to shopping.

The prices are usually good and the people who work there are usually kind. Parts of the place is almost always in some sort of disarray though. It's maddening. I don't know if it's that the customers just make a horrible mess of stuff or that the staff just stop trying or that there aren't enough staff, but it makes shopping difficult sometimes.

I enjoy the caos of Dollar General. I always find unique and fun gifts for the holidays there. It is a bit of a mess, but I don't think they keep staff long term, unfortunately. I can usually find chocolate oranges there, which is a must have for stocking stuffers. My kids look forward to them every year!
