As a first time Kennel user we were extremely satisfied with the number of times we dropped off our dog at Deb’s. The staff are courteous, knowledgeable and super flexible as I adjusted dates a number of times and they had no issues. My dog enjoyed the pool and always came back having received a ton of play time with other dogs. Great prices, convenient location for folks at Fort Leavenworth and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We have three dogs.This is the first time two of them have been boarded. Deb's place is like a dog wonderland with large kennels, several large yards, a dog pool, playground toys. The place was clean and smelled fresh on each occasion we came by. The dogs there enjoy each other's company and get plenty of exercise playing together. This is the kind of place I would be happy to go some distance to use, but here it is in my own town.

Deb’s Riverview Kennels is top notch. Our two German Shepherds love coming here and always come home clean, exhausted and happy. The punch card option is the best way to go! I never have to worry about space being available even during the busy holidays. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves their pets.

My dog stays at Deb's Riverview Kennel any time I go out of town. He knows when we're there and is always ready to get out and play. The staff is phenomenal. They're kind, and have a wealth of knowledge on dogs. I always feel at ease dropping my pup off for a day or a week because I know he'll be well cared for. They have multiple yards for the dogs to play and run, even a doggy pool! Prices are always a concern, no worries, they're very reasonable! Highly recommend Deb's for your boarding and doggy daycare needs!

We've really enjoyed using Debs while living in Leavenworth. One of our pups has some behavioral issues that requires people who know dogs well to accommodate him. Deb had no issues with this and was totally understanding and compassionate. I know my dogs must really enjoy their time while they're there because they are jumping with excitement every time I drop them off. They also come back groomed which is a nice bonus.

I have been brining my dogs to Debs Riverview Kennel for many years. They absolutely love the daycare and when we have to kennel them they have a blast. Deb and the staff have always been super responsive when I inquire about how they are doing. They have many yards so the dogs have plenty of room and also have pool areas in the summer. I have never been concerned about their happiness, safety or health when I hand them over. I have even adopted one of our rescues from the rescue portion and she is an amazing dog and Deb as well as her staff helped so much while we worked through some of her behaviors. Could not be more thankful to have them in my town.

My dog had separation anxiety when I first moved here and she fit perfectly in at Deb’s daycare. I’ve never seen my dog so happy when she sees all her doggy friends first thing in the morning. Everyone there is absolutely wonderful and would recommend Deb’s any day!

I left my pups here for 4 days. When I returned they had run, played, and were well taken care of! They got their free bath on their last day, so they were clean to go home! The staff even posted pictures on Facebook so I could check-in on them while I was away.

Deb and team took great care of our pups when we moved to Leavenworth. Our pups now go to daycare and occasionally board. We have seen improvements with their behavior and they are smoked after every visit from all the great play. Fair prices and wonderful hours!!!

Sept 2022, adopted a rescue Golden Retriever momma from Deb's. Lots of great communication, the kennel was clean and bright, and Jessie was freshly groomed. The vet the rescue uses was great. Would recommend to anyone looking to adopt a rescue dog!

Amazing! Adopted my sweet boy from here about a year ago and always make the 45 minute drive for daycare when i need because they are that great! He’s a big guy so i always get worried leaving him, but they always make sure he’s taken care of and there aren’t any issues with the other dogs during playtime. Love this place and would adopt again!!!

Our dog absolutely loves going to Deb's. He gets so excited when we turn the corner. We've been going there over 5 years & Deb & Levi have always been able to accommodate our craziness with schedules. Buster has some behavior issues & they can deal with those as well as help us understand how to handle the issues. Buster loves playing with his friends & comes home exhausted. Check them out!

I left my dog here for a week. When we picked him up I immediately noticed he wasn’t his usual excited, happy self.When we got home he went straight to his bed and laid down. My wife and I were starting to get concerned because that’s not normal for him, he has never acted that way before.He then got up and went to the door, signaling that he needs to go out. So we take him out and start noticing that he was walking weird, avoiding stepping fully on each foot, sort of tip-toeing.When we got home I checked his feet. They were red, tender, and swollen. I touched a few spots and he would immediately pull his foot away because it was painful.I don’t know if it is the chemicals they used on the floors there or if their play area is all rocks, regardless of that, my dog should have been taken care of better than that.This is my first time using a kennel and I will NEVER use a kennel again, especially this one, and I don’t recommend you use it either. Yes, the prices are great, but not worth it if they can’t take proper care of the dogs there.

We recently tried to adopt a dog from Riverview Rescue. Sawyer seemed very friendly and sweet and we fell in love with him. While the adoption fee was extremely high ($425), our hearts melted and he was a pure bred German Shepherd. Unfortunately, not 10 minutes into our drive home, Sawyer viciously attacked our puppy in the back seat. We nearly wrecked trying to get him off her and he made a terrible scratch on her eye. Obviously, we immediately turned around to bring him back. I called RR to let them know we were on our way back. No one, even once, ever asked how our puppy was doing. When I asked about a refund, Lexi told me that even though I said I could not tolerate aggression, that I wouldn’t get my money back but that we could adopt one of their other dogs. I can’t risk my dog’s safety for one of their other dogs. So now we can’t afford to adopt another dog, our hearts are broken, and my sweet puppy is traumatized. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RIVERVIEW RESCUE!

I wish I would have read the reviews before I took my dogs here! We took them here because we couldn't find them anywhere to stay on a Holiday weekend. I just picked my dogs up today and I was horrified at the state they were in. Something is seriously wrong with both of them. They are so sick that they can't even walk straight or hold their heads up. They are very lethargic and both lost weight as well. When I picked them up nobody could tell me how they did during their stay. I found that pretty disconcerting, but I was just in a hurry to get them in the car and get home. They have been acting very distant since I got them home too. I have never seen my dogs like this, ever, let alone after they get back from boarding. I have read multiple reviews online with stories that sound just like mine, and even worse which is even more upsetting. I absolutely do not recommend this place and will not be a return customer. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE!

I have taken my two dogs to Debs for five years. This year my Jack Russell had gained five pounds over the LONG winter so I told him he was going to FAT CAMP for vacation. Five years ago he was aggressive with other dogs and that is what is noted on his entry records at Debs. This time Deb told me that my pup plays well with all dogs, large and small. When he came home, he looked like his usual pre-winter self but exhausted as always after a week of play. Both dogs love “ their vacations “.

I had a wonderful experience dropping Tyson off for his first day of doggie day care! The dogs at Deb's are the happiest I've ever seen and the staff knew each of them by name. It's obvious they care about them! The facilities were in good condition and the play areas were clean. Deb's feels like a home and doesn't give off the clinical vibe found so often at other kennels and day care facilities. There was no artificial turf here!! Just lot's of dogs having lots of fun.

I'm giving a 4 star just because it was difficult communicating with them and I had been trying for hours. however when we drove there hoping for the best that they would still help up and which they did and had done amazingly. so I recommend rather than trying to talk to them over the phone make the drive and you'll be helped happily. we just adopted one of their malamute pup and were excited to take her home as soon as she gets her mandatory shots and all

Also known as Riverview Rescue. Kayla and Levi run this rescue and it’s very clear that they care deeply about the dogs they shelter there, and are very knowledgeable about them. They focus primarily on Huskies and Malamutes,but definitely have other breeds and mixes in their care, available for the right person or family to adopt. Please donate to them even if you don’t adopt from them. Highly recommend!

Poor customer service. I requested boarding for the dates of Dec 30th, 2021 - January 5th, 2022 so that my family and I could drive down to Fort Sam Houston and get familiar with the area. We initially thought our hotel did not accept pets so after discovering that pets were allowed I called Deb’s Riverview to cancel my dog’s boarding. The woman who answered said she would “write it down” and “pass it along,” ok great.I check my bank statement a few days later and noticed a refund wasn’t issued so I called back and was told that they would “write my concern down and pass it along.” I called the next day, and again was told that my number would be passed along to management. AGAIN. Finally, a gentleman on the phone informs me that they usually do not give refunds during holidays. Ok…., how was I supposed to know that? If I had known that was the case after being told I could pay in advance or pay during my pet’s check-in date then I wouldn’t have paid in advance, obviously.It has been an entire week, going back and forth on Facebook and several unanswered emails-management clearly does not think I am worthy of a response nor acknowledgment. Attached is a photo of their policy before and after the requested refund.The revised edition is where they added “advanced payment as mandatory and NOW a no refund policy.” When asked about this revision someone on their FB replied back with “this has been our policy since 2015,” How in the world was I suppose to know that?They also informed me THROUGH FACEBOOK that my calls were returned and sent straight to voicemail. Interesting, I have numbers from all over the USA that call my phone with zero issues yet their number of all numbers was sent to voicemail? If that was case, where is the left voicemail? Poor business practices, if you make a mistake fix it with integrity and dignity.Rude, unprofessional, tacky and shady

A friend adopted a dog from this rescue, they did not provide full disclosure. The previous owner had disclosed he had bitten someone and growled at her grandson when he touched him, this information was not disclosed to the new owner. When she got home, after adopting him, he got out. People looked for him, the previous owner even came to look for him. The would not refund her money not even half of her money. They do not offer a grace period to see if things will work out, if you return, they will charge you to return, even if it's only been a couple of days. Adopters beware.....adopt from a shelter that offers grace periods to return.

Deb's Doggie Daycare is such a great place for our Shiba Inu, Athena! She goes a few days a week, comes home tired and happy. If it wasn't for Deb's we would have a little one that would drive us crazy and be full of energy at the end of the day. Thanks so much to everyone at Deb's and Athena thanks you daily!Highly recommend Deb's to anyone that would love to have their pet treated very well and release excess energy while in the company of other dogs. It is truly a doggie community that our little loved one enjoys!We have never had a bad experience at Deb's and trust that our little one is in safe hands and comes home everyday wtih a smile and goes in morings so excited that she pulls us with the leash to get her day started!The staff have always been so helpful and lenient on schedules, pick ups, drop offs, grooming, and boarding. I had a last minute change that made me use Deb's as they were the only kennel available, so this was my first experience with the kennel and I can say I will never return. I dropped my dog off for the weekend and thought it odd I was told to bring his shot records, but was never asked for them when I dropped him off, even offering them and was told I was ok, not to worry about it, just fill in the dates on the form. I also scheduled a pick-up time for Monday afternoon, and left my number in case they needed to get ahold of me.I ran into a traffic jam Monday afternoon and tried to call 45 minutes before they closed so I could tell the kennel I would be late getting there, and see if they would stay open a few extra minutes. I got an answering machine, left a message for them to call back, but with no other details. Didn't receive a return call, got there 10 minutes after they''re scheduled to closed and nobody was around. Why would you not call a pet owner who missed a scheduled pick-up?I picked up my dog Tuesday before work and was told immediately my dog ate like a horse the whole time he was there, which I thought was an odd way to greet me, but whatever. I asked for his bed which I had left when I dropped him off and they pulled it off a shelf in the waiting room, so I'm pretty sure he wasn't given that the entire stay as it still smelled like the detergent I'd used to wash it before dropping him off. He also looked a bit thin. Odd seeming as he "ate like a horse the whole time". When I got him home he's acting very strange. He's normally glued to my leg, to the point where I can't go to the bathroom without him squeaking at the door. For 2 days now he's been very distant, has lost 11 pounds, and is a bit wheezy. He's eaten 1/4 of his normal food, and has terrible diarrhea. We're off to the vet tomorrow to get him checked out. I tried calling the kennel to find out if he'd been acting odd while he was there, and of course no answer. Stay away from this place, incredibly shady, and certainly not some place I'll trust with the well being of my pet again.

Such I wonder place to let your active pup play and run around like they should. They are not kenneling in small Tin kennels but in outdoor indoor areas. Always get a free bath before they come home and they smell great after they are picked up from boarding. They have 7 large play yards and a pool!
