I'm only giving four stars because the meat was very expensive here. Other than that the staff seemed to be super friendly although we did not talk to a lot of them. self check out was extremely easy. They do not carry imperial butter here. They also do not carry large elbow macaroni which was really disappointing for the lady in the wheelchair. I felt bad that we could not help her. It was very convenient that they have a Starbucks inside of the grocery store. The vegetables and fruits here were very organized and looked beautiful and yummy.

The salad bar, the crab salad, chinese food, chicken, mashed potatoes, & the list goes on, are the best food option in LV. EVERYTHING is soooo good! Love the seating area next to Starbucks! The baristas today made our drinks with love! This Price Chopper is the best location of them all!

Slow checker who doesn't bag groceries. If I wanted to do that I would've gone to self service. Bad produce. Just buy the specials and go elsewhere.

Absurd and outrageous prices, regardless of current inflation. They are asking $9.00 for 1 pound of regular strawberries. After price checking them at EVERY OTHER GROCERY STORE IN LEAVENWORTH, I discovered Price Chopper's price to be *double* the cost of every other store.Also, since the store remodel, I have noticed SO MANY expired goods on the shelves (especially in deli meat and dairy). I also have photos of expired goods on shelves.They price gouged badly during the pandemic and have kept it up, unfortunately. I strictly only shop sale items now which usually only bring the prices down to competitor's pricing.Store is clean with friendly employees.I used to go to Price Chopper on a weekly basis and now I go a few times a year. Very sad to see them go this route.

It's not what it used to be. The deli section has downsized. Not much variety. I miss them having that entire cold section where they had all of the potatoe salad and prepared meals to go. They still have them but not near as many. Idk.

A shout-out to Conni in the deli. I asked about chicken tamales, and she looked in the back but only found beef. A little bit later, she came to find me across the store because she had found them. I was happy to have the tamales (yummy) and appreciated her extra effort. Could tell that she was a really nice person who took pride in her job!

I have to say, since it's been remodeled, it's one of my favorite stores now! It looks a lot like one of the stores in my hometown. That's only part of why I favorite it now.The food bar is sooooo good. And there chicken 🐔 😋 omy so tender and the flavor.. very very good👍. And shopping and checkout is a breeze. Employees are friendly and helpful. Check it out for yourself.

I do not recommend this location! First of all this store sold expired bread product, finally they don’t train their employees well the cashier did not grab me a price chopper card or give me information when I had asked for one she continued to check the people behind me, I asked her if she could grab the price chopper card and she just stared at me blankly for awhile then grabbed it, two things; one, staring blankly makes guests uncomfortable, and two not finishing a transaction completely looks extremely unprofessional. The customers behind me ended up rushing me because of this and even shoved me and called me terrible names. I’ve been twice since I’ve returned two Leavenworth and they were the two most upsetting experiences I’ve had inside a grocery store. I didn’t feel welcome, comfortable, or happy with visiting. They allow others to be aggressive and will stand aside quietly and not do a thing, (the security guard was not on duty). They should not allow this kind of interaction to occur even if the guard is not there. I mean this makes not only the location look bad, but Price Chopper. I am studying hospitality and have lot of experience in the field, I will say that the experience that I encountered should not have occurred period. Through my perception they have low standards, low morale, poor structure, and upsetting guest service/product/ customer base. If you don’t want to be attacked or walk away with expired product; bump into negative energy in general I wouldn’t choose this store. Giving a negative 5 stars ;they caused me too much trouble and wasted time. Not a good look for a supposed professional company.

Thought maybe the remodel work inject some zest..no. Horrible customer service. Shelves still empty. Chuck??? Manager?? Needs to be a janitor with his attitude. Squeaky quiet voice cashier is one of the most unprofessional people I've ever met. New store looks beautiful. Just wish they could hire people to match it.

The pharmacy PharmDs and staff deliver customer service that is unmatched in town & KCMO area, hands down!!!💯💯💯The pharmacist went above and beyond to find the medication I needed at a sister store on the same day!! She was AMAZING and deserving of management recognition!!👏 🙌🏆🏆

The store always has friendly staff that id eager to help. I've never had a problem with anything here. I do notice that when it comes to specials and selection that it varies from the other Price Choppers location that I go to. I realize sometimes this has to do with what can be delivered it to the area and what the manager orders. They don't always have everything that is in the flyer but that's okay. Otherwise I don't have anything negative to say about this place.

This review is not for the store itself, but for the deli. I do not live here but was visiting my parents and decided I would pick up some dinner and ordered the family dinner. It should serve 4, but in reality after my 3yr old had a plate and I had my plate there definitely was not enough for two more people. The mixed veggies that I ordered were not cooked through and the scalloped potatoes though cold were actually not bad. So for my parents, myself and my two toddlers (counts as 1 adult) it just is not nearly enough. This should be advertised as a dinner for two, that is more accurate. I am a 6’ tall woman and my parents are both 5’11. Just disappointing, workers were great though and I can’t leave that out.

Returned again 12/10/2021 for a online pick up order. This time I was able to get his name, Jeff. Thank you for the great customer service. I am not sure if it's not allowed or if he preferred not to accept the tip. When comparing pricing Walmart is slightly cheaper. But this store has faster pick up service.Todays current date is 11/24/2021. For the first time at this location, I placed an online grocery pickup order. Ordered around 3pm, for a 7-8pm timeslot. My order was ready by 4:30pm. I am very appreciative for the fast service. My mother went to pick up the order. She informed me, the older male with black glasses. Did a very good job choosing substitutions. The order was picked up, a little after 5pm. Sorry, I don't know his name. Great customer service, is always a plus. Will use the grocery pick up again.

Great store with wonderful staff. Store is always clean and well stocked at all times. I'm very impressed with the store hours, opening at 6am and closing at 11pm every day, seven days a week. Food is always fresh, and the store includes a bakery, salad bar, deli and fresh meat/fish market that serve fresh food daily. Oh, and there's a Starbucks inside too :)

Store is clean with spacious aisle's. Receive credits each time you visit the store. The store has a weekly special, ad paper with great savings. Lots of bargains. If you can't find a particular item then ask one of the employees. They are glad to help.

Very disappointed ☹️ called to order Flowers for my wife was I don't do special orders I don't do this I don't make them I don't do anything to please anyone don't ask. I thought it was floral department that takes care of their customers? So if you want flowers go to Platte city mo they nock it out of the park every time. They will please you just let them know how much money you want to spend.

Frankly if walmart did a better job of consistently stocking the strawberry milk my kid likes to drink, I would never be in price chopperTheir pricing is not competitive… Why should I spend $20-30 more on literally the same stuff here that I'm buying at Walmart or the commissary??? And their pricing has gotten worse after the renovations…

I have been ill for two days and spent 2 hours ordering on instacart; It wouldn't go through. I called = all the man said was it was down. I told him my situation; he said call Dillon's - didn't offer to manually record a few items, just blew me off, I am an elderly widow. Yes, great service, NOT!

Great specials and helpful employees, but they always are understaffed at the registers. Today was the third time in the past month where they only have two cashiers, no self checkout, and there are a dozen people in each line. A 10 minute wait to check out and there were no calls for additional cashiers or any managers to jump on a register for the momentary rush of customers. If you are in a rush you should plan to shop somewhere else.

The store is old. The deli dosen't have anymore of a selection on the hot part than a family get together. In fact the family get together has more selections and better quality. This is not a reflection on the employees. They can only do with what they have at their disposal. Balls needs to step it up. Also. Fell like a lot of times our store is actually a recycling store for them.

Perfect example of looks being deceiving. I just moved to the area and was looking for a nearby grocery store to go to regularly. I had passed Price Chopper up in favor of stores further away because the exterior looked much like some of the stores in other places that weren't so good once you went inside. My mistake prejudging this place. I went inside and the store was very well stocked, extremely clean, well organized and has an impressive variety of products. I'll be a repeat customer.

They have good sales, but their reward card is virtually useless fornrealy gas points since there's no quick trip in town... The employees here are pretty rude, though. The deli staff was very nice, and we love their chicken, the chopper chicken Tuesday is a good deal.

Somewhat deceptive looking from the outside. When I first walked up to the store I didn't think I was going to be very impressed, however once I got inside, my mind was immediately changed. Very spacious , well stocked, and clean store. I go shopping there from time to time. And the prices are competitive
