Neat pet shop in Lawrence. Pretty good selection of cat and dog food, along with different chews and treats too. Our dog particularly likes the chicken necks. The baked dog cookies were so freaking adorable! They were so well done and had a ton of absolutely cute designs! We didn't grab any but will definitely have to next time. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. I also love the little aquarium in the back with all the fishes names listed.

We were so pleased with our experience! Such a wide selection of baked goodies, toys, and attire for my fur babies. I ordered a cake for my dogs and it turned out absolutely perfect! The staff was so helpful and friendly, we will be back :)

"The employees here were soooo nice to me and my parents. They helped my parents choose good, healthy snacks and answered all our questions about how to make good choices to keep me safe (Mom didn't know the dangers of rawhide, and the employee answered her questions without shaming her for not knowing!). I also really appreciate the selfie station, because it gave me a cozy place to relax for a second. Getting pet all day is hard work. 12/10 would visit again!"-Holst the dog

My frenchie Ella and I love Lucky Dog! We do walks down Mass Street quite often, and she always makes a beeline for her favorite store. The employees know her by name and greet her enthusiastically every time we come in. They have a great selection and always offer her a treat when we pop in. I purchased one of her favorite toys there. She is a destroyer of toys, even the tough toys don’t last long. I purchased a tough stuffed toy on our last visit, and it’s held up amazingly well! Such cute products. We found our puppy an adorable rainbow pride bow and collar flower. Also it's the first place we've been able to find the kind of kitty harness we needed. I so wanted some puppy Christmas Cookies, they look just like regular frosted sugar cookies. I was actually sad I didn't have more to spend on treats! The staff was also amazing. The gentleman that helped us find our harness was really friendly and helpful. The person that checked us on out was really nice too. I will definitely be back!

Lucky Dog is one of our favorite places to buy pet supplies. They have the brand of dog food we like and tons of baked snacks as well. The staff is always great and they are really knowledgeable about the products being sold. It's located on Massachusetts Street so it's within walking distance to a lot of other cool places. Definitely try this place out if you love you pets.

We love this place and go back very often. We do not have a dog but a very spoiled Savannah cat. The people who work here were very thorough in explaining what we can give our cats and what we shouldn't. They also helped us pick out some great treats for our cats

Tio (black Chihuahua) and I dropped I’m to get him a new coat. Trying on coats is not his favorite thing, but the kind staff provided gentle help and copious treats to ease him through the ordeal. And they did have his perfect coat on the well stocked shelves. Many thanks!

My friend and I went to lucky dog almost every weekend for three years. They had some staff change and it just wasn’t the same. The staff when we first went there knew all my dogs names, birthdays, and was always so happy to see them when we came through. We always got dog cookies for our dogs and even got cakes from them for their birthdays. We went in this last weekend after our trip to Kansas City because we haven’t been by in a while. We walked in and wasn’t greeted. Was pretty much ignored. Got our usual dog cookies and I even purchased some chews for them. When my friend said something about the amount of dogs we had one of the workers said “I know I’ve seen them” We was looking around and realized we came in right before we closed so we left. We wasn’t sure if they was quiet towards us because they were about to close but if they would have said something we would have left. I’m super disappointed because I did enjoy my weekend trips to Lawrence with my dogs and taking them in. They always enjoyed their dog cookies on Sunday nights while we got ready for the week.

Passing through Lawrence, stopped in with our good boys for a treat. The staff was very attentive and they had a nice selection of all sorts of pet supplies. We got some adorable fall-themed iced cookies (a fox and a toadstool!) which the dogs happily gobbled up. The cookies were also aesthetically pleasing, small works of art 👌 Very nice experience overall.

Love this store! They have so many adorable toys, collars, harnesses, clothes, and of course treats! My dog loved her birthday treat so much she hid it in various places around the house for about 2 hours before actually eating it. I'll always stop here when I'm in town.

Every time I go into Lucky Dog the shopping experience feels so personalized. They always remember my dog's name and what he likes. They hold everything we pick out at the counter so I don't have to carry anything around and also always offer my pup a free treat from their bakery. The prices are great and they will even special order something if they don't have it in stock. There is no reason to go anywhere else for my puppy's needs!

We just had one of the best experiences here! We brought our new puppy in for the first time today and the nice lady and nice dude were so helpful in answering all of our questions and hooked us up with a super generous adoption bundle! The prices on all food/toys/supplements were comparable to big pet stores and Amazon. We’ll definitely be going back!

My mom and I went in to lucky dog looking for a birthday treat for my brothers fur-baby, we picked out the pink birthday treat and my mom went to pay for it and a nice man told my mom to spin the wheel and we won some free treats! While we were filling up the bag another lady came up to us and gave us a complimentary bag for being a customer! Super great first impression, we’ll definitely be returning! :)

Great selection of high end dog food in a relatively small space. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Good quality accessories such as collars, leads, sweaters and toys, including coats and sweaters for large and giant breeds. Worth noting, however, is that the store has very little room to maneuver a reactive or excitable dog around the store safely. I brought my little chi and although he enjoyed it, some of the other dogs visiting at the time seemed to be way too interested in him, and the owners barely had control of them.

The staff is AMAZING! They are so helpful and knowledgeable. Such a fun store for your pets and they have everything. Unique toys, treats and animal safe baked goods. You will also not find cuter pet clothes anywhere else in Lawrence. They have a food awards program. So after 10 bags of dog food we get a free bag. They also have this program for their animal safe CBD oil which we give to our dog with epilepsy. Our pet family loves Lucky Dog.

I headed to Lucky Dog today to pick up a sweet birthday treat for my pup. While I was there, I also picked up a toy and some great birthday-themed accessories. My pup absolutely loved his ready-made birthday cake and his toy, and looked quite handsome while celebrating in his new accessories. The customer service was 10/10 excellent as well!

Awesome selection of dog treats at great prices! Grabbed some CBD treats for the pup, and the salesperson was super knowledgeable and helpful. Also picked up a variety of chews including kangaroo ribs and dried fish skins. I don't know anything about cats, but it looked like they had a good selection for cats as well. Definitely recommend!
