Run by the nicest people you'll ever meet. They carry all the high quality pet foods, bird seed, treats and lawn supplies. I love being able to run in and get my shopping done in a few minutes. It's great to be able to shop local at this Lawrence landmark.

Nothing but good things to say. I have been buying my seed and feed there since forever. And my dad longer than that! It’s the kind of small business that makes Lawrence Lawrence. Good selection of high quality products for my pets and feeders. I feel like I have grown up with the staff, and I hope the business stays right here at least as long as I do!

Absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. My dog has terrible food allergies and this was my first visit. I came in with a list of things he can't eat and specific brands/ foods approved by the vet. Staff took the time to review the lists and walk me through possible options. It was a great experience and I left with a food that is so much more affordable than any option I found online. And I'm much happier supporting a local business!

A+ option for what you need. I really only tend to birds in my lawn, but the variety of options for care and especially food is phenomenal. They've been great with covid safety procedures and will be able to answer any question you have. Great place for beginners and experts!

The fellow who runs Lawrence Feed is a gem. I always look forward to chatting with him. The store may look small compared to the big box farm stores, but it holds an amazing variety of supplies-- a good selection of feeds, all the things you need for basic vetting of livestock and pets, and even some fun stuff like birdfeeders. The big stores don't always have lower prices, but even when they do, I'd rather support this locally owned business. The personal connection is worth whatever few pennies I might save. When you go in, take a few minutes extra to visit with the owner. You'll learn something for sure and enjoy yourself, too.

Family owned farm store. They carry anything from dog/cat food to lawn/garden to livestock feed. They can even set you up with that new bird feeder or seed to go in the old one. The Roger and Tuckel family are good peoples. One of the few gems left in Lawrence, KS!
