Wow, what an awesome experience. Our sweet little Frankie often has max anxiety when it comes to vet and grooming time. We were warmly greeted by kind and confident pet care professionals who expertly explained his treatment process.After his groom day at EarthWise, he couldn't stop smiling. When he arrived home the house staff commented on his upbeat behavior and bouncy flex. I would totally recommend EarthWise for pet care TLC. Thank you so much.

We really love wonderful our pup looks when we pick him up. Super clean lines, very balanced, everything is the exact right ratio in terms of proportion on the cuts. I have tried other places when they’re booked, and I’ve never been as happy as I have been here with John + team. Make sure you book your appts out in advance! I’ve been going for almost a year and only one time have they called out for someone being sick, that’s a pretty good record and I go once every week or two. Thanks John + team! We love you!

Honestly, the grooming itself is good. However, the reason for the low rating is due to unprofessionalism. I confirmed my appointment 2 days prior to the scheduled time, got my confirmation. Then I get a call 2 hours prior to my scheduled time to be told THEY need to reschedule me because someone called in. I proceeded to ask why that is and how priority of grooming was decided, and the response was less then favorable and tone was disrespectful. The reason given was that they went by which dogs would be "Easiest" to groom. I called well over a month out to schedule my dogs grooming to time with when I leave for military training for a month. The fact that they called to reschedule 2 hours prior to my appointment and not offering any real form of sincere apology for the inconvenience or any consideration but to try and reschedule when the reason for the reschedule is due to their inabilities is what severely frustrated me and the tone that was given when I asked them why my dogs couldn't be groom today was even more insulting. Their policy requires any customer to give them at least 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling, but when they obviously cancelled on me with only 2 hours notice no compensation, discount, or any consideration was offered.If you wished to truly come to a better alternative for my dogs grooming you could have offered some form of sincere consideration rather it be at 10$ discount or even a single dollar discount or something that showed you were truly sorry for the inconvenience and failure to adapt on your end. However, your simple response to my negative review due to YOUR failures has done you no favors with me. Granted, you will do well with your current clientele, and my one bad review will likely not affect you by much, but on a professional level you have failed to even provide any level of compensation or consideration to a minimal extent.

High praises for Earthwise and Christina & all staff. This was my 1st experience with Earthwise. I brought in my foster dog who was rescued from a puppy mill & has trauma that makes an experience like grooming very scary. Christina's knowledge of such dogs was evident throughout the process -gentle, patient & ultimately concerned about AG's comfort level. I was very grateful for the accommodations that were made. AG was transformed! Earthwise is now my go-to for my other dog. Cannot thank them enough.

This is the first place in Lawrence I chose to get my dog groomed since moving here. It was super easy to make an appointment (via phone call), and the workers were extremely nice. When I dropped off my dog, the Jessica understood what I wanted, and she did an amazing job. Previous groomers always notify me to pick up my dog 2-5 hours after dropping them off, but I was able to pick up my dog 45 minutes later! Really great results and will be using this place as my official dog groomer when in Lawrence!

This review is LONG overdue. I have always had wonderful experience. From the interactions with employees to the food/snacks/treats and supplements they provide. John and his staff go out of their way to make sure they have what customers are looking for. If they don't have it, they will order it for you! They are more than accommodating on making sure your dog feels comfortable when in their care. (they even trimmed my foster pup's nails outside as he was too stimulated indoors!!) I have even forgotten my debt card at home and John kept the store open after hours and waited for me to come back. I can not say enough about this place; I am forever a customer!! =)

Took my 15 year old poodle in to be groomed when she came out I was very disappointed I told them a medium poodle cut and now she looks like a shaved rat plus they charged $84.00 which is outrages price plus the groomer told me she muzzled her she has been groomed from a puppy never has been muzzled which they did not call to tell me. And they did not do the inside of her ears. Bad grooming😡 I spoke to my regular groomer who is fantastic she told me she had never had trouble with my poodle and your groomer put extra stress on her especially at her age. This grooming business is a joke 🤬

Best grooming experience ever for my little Yorkie mix "Eugene." Heather followed my instructions exactly as I wanted, and Eugene was happy, barking and dancing on his hind legs for a treat when I went in to pick him up. He's never been more "like himself" after a grooming experience. I will definitely take him here again and recommend to others.

I've only been there a couple of times, but I really like this store. They have the food recommended for our dogs needs at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and are willing to help in any way they can. We recently moved into the area, there's no doubt we will be regular loyal customers. :)

EarthWise did my puppy’s first grooming and it was a great experience. The staff made sure that it was an experience that he would enjoy and introduced him to all the new smells, sounds and feelings of grooming. He came out it looking adorable, smelling good and, most importantly, very happy. I have no doubt that this will help him learn to love going to the groomer.

Very friendly and listened to what we wanted for our dogs! We have a golden doodle and bichon so not typically easy coats but they did a fantastic job. We will be going back and switching to them full time for our groomers! John did amazing work on our dogs and their entire staff were so friendly and so helpful!

We needed a new groomer for our 80 lb German Shepherd dog so gave EarthWise a call to see if they would take on our verbal, nervous boy. They said sure! John did a fabulous job shampooing and brushing the shedding mass of his coat. Tenzing looks fabulous, is less itchy and we're super pleased to find a quality groomer close to home! Thanks John!

This pet supply and grooming center is conveniently located in West Lawrence with ample parking directly in front of the shop. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store is bright, clean, well organized and stocked with high quality pet food, supplements, toys, grooming tools and other pet gear items. The gentle, competent, hard-working groomers did an amazing job with my dog. He really enjoyed his spa time and came out looking and feeling great!

I brought my golden doodle in for a foot, face, & fanny. I asked them to not use a razor on her nose, just trimming it. I also asked if they could pluck her ears.When I came and picked her up, her nose was shaved, and her ears also had not been plucked. On top of that, her private/fanny area looks very choppy. I could have done this myself.I brush & comb my golden doodle every day, so matting is not an issue. This seems like a case of just trying to rush it and not take their time. I was very disappointed. I gave two stars because the people there are nice and they have other great products - how ever, will not be returning for another cut.

After an unfortunate experience with our two Shih Tzu pups at a commercially operated corporate store, my wife and I anxiously decided to try our luck with a locally owned small business and were totally blown away with the awesome customer service and attention to detail. We understood grooming pups isn’t easy and it was honestly communicated to us up front. However, John took his time with them and exceeded our expectations. The rates are extremely fair for the excellent service and we left confident we have found an excellent groomer that we look forward to using again.

The staff is knowledgeable and the store is always clean and organized. I highly recommend their grooming service. Hilary does awesome work and is so kind! Our dog can be a little anxious and Hilary always goes above and beyond to make her feel comfortable when we drop her off to be groomed. Our dog always looks adorable and happy when we pick her up. We absolutely love EarthWise!

Always take phenomenal care of my dog! She struggles with getting her nails done from a past bad experience, and the staff was very patient and accommodating in order to get her nails trimmed still! She’s not had any problems and always hear great things about her once I pickup! Highly recommend!!
