The girl working at this location today did not have a clue. She said they didn't sell clothes hangers...didn't have any fly swatters available. She was very uppity acting towards me as well. The store looks brand new and looks very nice....however...if she doesn't know her store then it makes no sense. I won't ask the workers there for anything ever again....it's a waste of time...they know nothing.

The Dollar General Market has been poorly stocked since it opened. Although it seems less cluttered though than the old store. I don't like the self check out or the staff constantly leaving carts of items to be put away. Hoping for a "wow" experience when I go in the next time.

Good store for a quick in and out. A number of low priced store brand items mixed with national items. A wide mix of items from clothing, paper goods to automotive and toys. Some Dollar General are more food centered with canned and boxed food to cold and freezer items. When I visit any location they seem to only have one employee on at anytime. One location had self checkout so I would say that one employee could keep putting out freight and not cash you out. Seems kinda extreme but they seem to have lots of locations so I guess it works for them. Will I go back.. ya

It is just a Dollar General. It isn't a market. Has no fresh produce, or meat area. I was so excited to get one in Kansas because we had them in Florida. I was so disappointed to find a regular Dollar General.

It's a bigger dollar general with worse service. When I went in I had to use the bathroom (I have IBS), I had to ask a worker for the bathroom keys but there was no workers in the front, I looked all over the store for a worker and when I found one and asked for the key he told me someone in the front can help you.... but there was no one in the front 😕 so I had to hold it until I got home, an uncomfortable experience for someone with IBS to say the least...

It's a great place to get a bargain for your buck. The assortment of items may vary in what you are looking for, and might not have in stock. The store is a smaller of the dollar General franchises I've ever visited. The employee help and hospitality can be greatly increased in my opinion, it would probably increase business if customers felt welcomed. Overall it is a good place to get your laundry detergent, soap, and other bathroom toiletries.

Employees are great. They need updates to their store so it runs more efficiently, but that is on the company. And PAY THEM THE $15 AN HOUR. THEY EARN IT. HAZARD PAY TOO! Out there risking their lives so I could buy craft supplies to thank healthcare workers. We are going to thank the DG employees too! PAY. THEM. WHAT. THEY. DESERVE. NOW.

Pros: they seem to carry several things that the local Dillons has gotten rid of (kids medicine seems to be easier to find in DG). Cons: the place feels cramped. They could pull a row of shelves out and be it'd easier to get around in. They also seem to aways have restocking carts in the aisles when I'm there.

Most of the time when you go to this Dollar General in Larned Kansas. The employees that work there are not pleasant. They have been known to be rude when you ask questions. They do not want to help you find things or the prices of things. Many times we have walked out not buying an item because they could not or would not give us the price on the item.

Ok so there is a sale going on for Pepsi 2 liters. 3 for $3. So I tried to get 2 Diet Mt Dews and a Dr Pepper. Also got a chocolate milk. Said it was over $7. I questioned cashier about it. Told her Pepsi products were advertised at 3 for $3 and milk was like $1.35. How is that over $7? She said Dr Pepper is a Coke product and always has been. Excuse me but I used to work for Pepsi and I know it's a Pepsi product. (I think they are independent now) Mr Pibb is a Coke product. I Told her to just ring up another Diet MT Dew and I'd go get it. So I paid for everything (less than $7) and went and got the other soda. Came back and Told her there was a sign for the Dr Pepper also. She says.. "Yes you just can't mix them." Since when? I've always been able to mix and match at Dollar General. Is that a northern thing? It's a ridiculous policy if it is. Can't wait to go back south. Only up here for work.

Store is stocked, organized, and as always fair priced. The older man that helped us didn't really say much, and seemed a tad confused so maybe he is a new employee.

I give your store a to two stars simply because the manager is a rude b**** every time I talk to her I'm ugly I'm nice and she is rude now if you hate your life leave your problems at the door that's what you do when you go to work she don't smile a customer she's just a hateful hateful person she's real short with you and I'm talking about the manager in Larned Kansas man she makes me mad

This is the worst dollar general I have ever been to the manager Kelly is very rude treats people very badly my son is disabled and when I bring him in she is very rude almost to the point of making him cry the store is a mess I have watched her be rude to kids for even touching a toy it's really sad to have a store in town with someone who does not know how to run the store hopefully someone steps in
