While the person working the front desk was amazing and did everything she could management is horrible. My son work up in the middle of the night soaking wet from a leak in the celling. I reported it to the front desk and she said she would tell management. I was told by management we would not get any sort of refund. This is pathetic, your roof leaks all night in the middle of the bed and my 12 year old son get a cold from it, not only that the room smelled of mold and your response is not even a sorry.DO NOT STAY HERE!

I had to wait several minutes for someone to show up, to check in. The young man was very friendly. However I have to give this Motel only 1 star as the room was old and dirty. Mostly the carpeting was very very dirty and the toilet was gross. It looked like no one has cleaned the inside of it for a very long time. In the morning there were many small insect in the sink. I had no choice but to stay there but should have spend a few more dollars and went a few miles north to the next town. The custom Pizza ordered from the station across the street was exceptionally good.

Room water dirty, the diverter for the tub to work the shower was seized up from corrosion so that it couldn’t be used. When I attempted to pull it up the entire faucet fell off of the pipe. There was a long standing rust stain on the tub below the faucet and the pipe rusted through causing the faucet to fall into the tub. Needless to say I’ve stayed in third world nations that have nicer hotels. If you can avoid this place and have any other accommodations I implore you to use them. There were no curtains blocking a person’s view into the room above the air conditioner on the back wall and the bathroom window. Definitely not a pleasant experience. I was on the road for 14 hours yesterday and this was my experience. If I wasn’t so tired and if I had other options I wouldn’t have stayed.

Very nice. This is probably the best motel I've stayed at before. Nice rooms, very clean, good size and working a/c and heating. The staff member I interacted with was very polite. At just over fifty dollars a night, my stay was very enjoyable, and I will probably stay here next time I'm in town. Highly recommend.

I stayed at this hotel the first week of May, 2019. I found the management to be very professional, efficient and helpful. The rates are competitive and the rooms are clean, with new mattresses, bedding and extra pillows. Good cooling and heating, water pressure and temperature.I will definitely stay at this hotel again and an confident in referring it to other travelers in the area!

In the area to visit family, we were pleasantly surprised by Green Acre Motel! We’ve stayed in hotels for three times the price that weren’t half as clean. The room was quite small, and things are a bit aged, but the bed was comfy, there is a fridge and microwave, and did I mention everything was CLEAN? Also, being right on the highway, you’d think you would hear a lot of road noise. Nope; very quiet. No noise from neighboring, occupied rooms either. Management was very pleasant. We’ll definitely stay again.

Daniel the Manager is Awesome. Very down to earth cool young man. Super polite and friendly. He treats guests very well.This a small but very friendly nice town. The Motel is very well maintained, clean and super comfortable with very good wifi and TV channel selection. The price is very affordable and reasonable. Make this your designated stop when coming through the town of LaCrosse Kansas where USHighways 4 and 183 join. Great Diner and Casey's right across the street.Thumbs up to another good Mom and Pop establishment.

This motel is in a great location the is a jct 4 diner and a dollar General on the corner and a caseys across the street so if you want to go shopping or go out to eat this is really helpful the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are nice and depending on what room you want the rooms have 1-3 beds in it which is helpful if youve got a really big family and motel is very clean and in great shape and the man at the front desk is very nice and he'll sit there and talk with you while he's checking you into your room and the manager is a very great man if there is a problem he'll take care of it right away!!! And the housekeeping staff is just amazing

Room was HOT! Air conditioner did not work well. Luckily we were moving, so we had fans in the truck. There were spiders in the room. Had 5 people reserved for room, but only had 2 towels. Each time we went to the office, there was never anyone available. Bath tub was dirty. Town is small and shuts down early. Only option for late dinner was Casey's General Store that is across the street from the hotel. Ordered a whole pizza so it would be fresh and it was delicious. It is was the highlight of our stay...

Every November for the past 13 years I have been pheasant hunting in LaCrosse and surrounding areas. My twin brother started booking the rooms about 12 years ago at the Green Acres Motel and it was your typical average or below average place to stay. Just stayed over the weekend of November 9, 2018 and I must say it's been the BEST experience yet. The facility has been recently renovated. Great night sleep on new mattress. The shower was nice and hot with continuous water pressure. The new owners have done a great job with several repairs and upgrades to this property. Definitely a thumbs up!!

No stars!! My family, my child and significant other plus my brother, his wife and 3 babies were given rooms in November with no working heaters! Rooms were very dusty, and gross shower/ bathrooms I went to clean myself! Then this weekend my brother, his wife and babies stayed another 2 nights, my brother's allergies are acting up. So last night he checked the filters and they hadn't been cleaned in very long time! In a month for graduation my family would've filled the motel coming from Colorado, and Nebraska, but will be renting rooms in Hays.... how sad after coming hundreds of miles they can't just be here!

Very clean, management friendly, lots of hot water. Good selection of channels on flat screen TV. Diner, and Dollar General across the street. Also Casey's across US183. Enjoyed my stay over the weekend and will be staying again. No contintal breakfast but that doesn't bother me. I don't usually eat it in any motel. I was given a great rate.

Really great/friendly staff! Danial and his wife are the sweetest! Pet friendly! Clean rooms! We moved to Oklahoma and travel back and fourth to Nebraska to see our family, this is a good stopping spot in between to take a break and rest up! Will definitely stop again!!

Great place to stay. Pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet our room was! We had a very clean spacious room. Beds were comfortable and shower had plenty of hot water. Good WiFi service. Large parking lot that was easy to get in and out. good hotel for the price. Friendly and helpful staff.

Spent a Friday night here (September 6th). The managers were friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but cozy. More of a cabin style interior. Great channel line up on the TV. Air conditioner worked great, you could make the room as cold as you could take.Normally I would say it's a four star but the management changed it to a five.The night I was there a number of work crews were staying and it was Friday night and they were cutting loose. For the most part that was fine but there's always that one guy. A guy extremely drunk started screaming and cussing at everybody trying to start fights and this drew the managers attention right away. He quickly took care of the possible violent drunk and we never heard him again. I don't know what he did but it worked. KUDO'sDiner across the road has good breakfast and a Casey's that stays open till midnight is across the other road.

Stayed here on a weekend hunting trip. The beds and bathroom were clean enough, but the floor had not been vacuumed and walking with bare feet felt like walking on bread crumbs or sand. I would stay again but they do need to clean better.

I’ve been coming to LaCrosse and staying at Green Acres annually for the better part of a decade now. During that time ownership of the property has changed hands approximately 4 times. The new owners have finally started making some long overdue repairs to this property. I recently stayed this past weekend and it was the best experience to date. Shower was hot and had continued water pressure (this had been an issue in the past) and the mattress had been replaced with a new one. Thanks to the new owners for finally making improvements.

Me and my boyfriend rented a room for one night. Great price. All appliances worked perfectly, room was clean and the perfet temp all night. Shower was super big. I loved the room. Every was perfect.

We were passing game through with windmill blades & needed a place for the night. It was very clean, no bugs, and the bed was very comfy! In fact I slept so well that my alarm woke me up and that rarely happens! The owners are super friendly.

It was sooooooo cold that I couldn't sleep. Insulation would be a great thing here. My TV remote didn't work and it was too cold out to go to the office to get that issue resolved. They have small refrigerators and microwaves in every room. The rooms were clean and they have tried to update the place they just missed the winterizing checklist and maintenance of some parts.

My wife and I were a bit leery of staying in such an old motor inn like Green Acres but we were pleasantly surprised. This place was a wonderful nice place to stay for the night that we were in La Crosse. Our room was very clean and the air conditioner worked very well. We own a funeral home and were only in town to bury a gentleman we brought home from Texas so I really doubt that we will ever be back in La Crosse but if we do we would definitely stay at Green Acres again. The owner was even nice enough to let us check out after the check out time and not charge us for another night. Do yourself a favor and don't drive all the way to Hays because this motel looks old. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Went from Good service to bad my food went to waste bad outlets n ice box n the neighbor called the ownerexplaining what was happening in his room also that his room was bad also . And owner didn't take initiative . Even though there kids next door. Got a Garden unqualified person trying to do electrical . Not good business.😠👎.Daniel and his wife already friendly n hlep out do wt they can . that about the only good part about being there.

Booked online for $50 a night but was charged double upon arriving. Said they did have a double instead of a triple room when we arrived but when we said we would take that, they still charged us the same price saying that it was the $10 dog fee that also wasn't listed on the website. Room looked clean but had to wrestle a pill out of our dog's mouth that she found somewhere.

Stay here for a week on a job, found roaches and ticks in the rooms. Showers don’t drain. Staff used their keys to barge in the rooms while we were in there. Once we in bed taking a nap and they just stood there talking instead of apologizing and leaving the room but no they stood their talking, staring at my fiancé and I. So beware I believe they barge in without knocking to try and catch a peek. My advice go to the next town.

The man I spoke to at the counter, Cam (probably spelled wrong, sorry!) was very friendly, helpful, willing to give me a slightly discounted rate from the quote online, and made me feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and I would definitely come back!
