This was my first trip but the others in my group have been 5-6 years in a row.The birds are NOT cage birds they are wild and fly true! The dogs were well behaved and trained very well. The staff were knowledgeable and knew what they were doing!I will be a returning customer and plan to bring more family and friends.The food was delicious and the accommodations were great!Heated floors throughout the cabin which was all hand built by the owners.I have absolutely NO negative comments to say about this business or the operation they run.Rooms: The rooms were super nice and clean with heated floors.Food & drinks: Great food served by the hosts!Noteworthy details: Great staff, food, very clean and beautiful lodge.

Our company just finished with our 4th hunt with this outfit and have now made it a yearly tradition.They make you feel at home, whileoffering the best pheasant hunting that many of us experienced hunters have ever experienced.Cannot forget to mention the food. My group recently visited this place for three days and if you are looking for a place to go on a guided upland bird or pheasant hunt, this place is for you. From the lodge to the guides, everything was top notch. The food was outstanding thanks to their amazing cook. The best part of all was watching the dogs work their skills in the field to help us get our limit of birds on every hunt.Big thanks to Tim and the staff. Great job guys looking forward to next season.

Incredible wild Quail and Pheasant Hunting. Tim and his team run a first rate operation, top to bottom. A family run operation that feels like 5 star resort quality. Excellent accommodations in the lodge, great food. High quality dog work and great guides. Everyone is extremely nice and become fast friends. We will make this an annual trip for as long as we can hunt! Highly recommended

10 Gauge Outfitters is the premier outfitter for Kansas Pheasant and Quail Hunting guided hunts!!! Start of the hunt begins at the exceptional lodge that sleeps 30+, the dinner on the first night was exceptional. After a great night of sleep in one of the softest beds, we woke up to a gourmet breakfast. We were placed on the birds immediately and limited out in a few passes of the field. Guides did an excellent job getting us on the birds and the dogs worked their magic in short time getting birds in the air. Limits were obtained on every hunt! Quail hunts were just as efficient with the dogs getting us on the birds in the cleanest side by side I’ve ever ridden in. 5 hunts netting limits even with Mother Nature throwing down the elements of crazy winds and 6 inches of snow! We will definitely be back for more. 10 gauge did an excellent job of getting us on birds in every field we hunted! 5 stars all around!

10 gauge offers a good hunt for pheasant, you will get your exercise. The lodge is nicely decorated and comfortable with plenty of seating. The mattresses are sagging and need replacing, so that was unfortunate. The food is mediocre, burgers and hot dogs served one night was disappointing. Tim had no hospitality during our weekend. There's a poker table and TV but there is nothing else to do. no skeet shooting, or fishing tanks. We won't return or recommend it. Pricing is fair but the service didn't match my expectations, I've hunted with better outfitters.

Only reason I'm giving 5 Stars is because there's not an option to leave 6. Tim and the entire staff at 10 Gauge go above and beyond to provide a great experience. You can totally tell outfitting isn't an off season side gig for these guys. They take putting hunters where they need to be for a great hunt seriously, and it shows. The guides, dogs, meals and accommodations are all excellent. Tons of birds too! Cant wait to go back!

This was a great experience, Tim had us set on more dogs than we could shoot and the entire group had a blast. He gave us pointers since this was our first time shooting prairie dogs and we were out from 9am until 6-7pm both days we were here. The food Tim and Stephanie had for us was delicious and home cooked, the desserts were great and the cabin we all stayed in was clean and top notch. We are already talking about bringing more people out next year.

This was one of the best hunts I've been on. First time pheasant hunting and could not have picked a better place. Lodging was excellent. Food was great. Our guide was great. He made sure we were going to get our limit. The dogs he ran on our hunt did their job very well.Tim and his wife, the outfitters, made sure we had everything we needed. They do an excellent job of running the place.Planning on coming back next year with a bigger group of friends for a pheasant hunt in 2018.

Wow, just wow. Tim accommodated me for a last minute turkey hunt last season, I was so impressed that I booked a pheasant and quail hunt for 5 for this November. I have hunted all over the country and have never had a better experience, from the owners Tim and his wife, to the guides, to the dogs just Wow. The lodge is gorgeous and the food was wonderful! Oh, and the hunting was fantastic! Going back this spring!

Tim and his guides were AWESOME! Had 2-days of the best pheasant hunting ever! Birds were plentiful and the lodge is top notch. Not too mention the food was 5-star all day, every day. Highly recommend you give him an opportunity to earn your guide business, you won’t be disappointed!

During our two days at 10 Gauge we shot at hundreds of prairie dogs and burned thousands of rounds (five shooters). It was one of the most fun things I've ever done. The lodge is amazing, Tim and his wife were incredible hosts. We also had a couple of late nights hanging out with other hunters in the well furnished common area. We will definitely be back again.
