As a maintenance personnel I frequent Ace Hardware quite often the staff is always Top Notch and extremely friendly they are also extremely helpful believe it or not if you need to find something almost all of everyone that I've ever encountered that works there has been adequately trained and locating me in the right direction. I will say the facility itself as it used to be a now defunct Walmart building aside from having a facelift approximately 10 years ago or so is not nearly as nice as some of the other Ace Hardware we have been in in different cities. Sometimes there are lights flashing a lot of the fixtures have not been updated within the facility and the old tile floors from the long lost Kmart days are still prevalent and cracked in different areas. One of the things that I do not much care for from a personal standpoint not from a business standpoint is that there is extra tax imposed upon purchases as we are a city with already extremely high tax rates that extra scent or two added on to your purchases really hits you in the wallet. As with most Big Chain hardware stores they have an abundance of grills every type of yard equipment that you can think of seasonally and a pretty decent selection of electronics and gadgets. Although I only rate the store at three stars because of the taxes and the shape of the building itself internally I would recommend this store to anyone in need of local hardware

Pretty good place for many basic hardware items, but poor planning makes "supply chain issues" a constant hassle.If you are looking for a popular product, be prepared to wait a week or more, since only the bare minimum seems to be ordered at any time.I understand "Just In Time" inventory renewal systems, but it is ridiculous to be out of best selling items multiple times a month without developing a new marketing strategy.

Went here to purchase a pad lock for storage unit. Selection was good, however the lock I bought wouldn't fit in locking mechanism! Had no issues returning first lock and even had help finding the pad lock that worked perfect!

I was impressed they had the fittings I needed for flared fittings. We were ale to get all mini splits installed without having to drive out of our way or wait for them

We couldn't find the weed eater parts and we had to wait a few until the salesman finished helping another person. Then he not only helped us but so graciously, and he got us everything we needed. Never been anywhere else that the sales people went over and beyond to help.

I like their selection. Prices are a little high, but not that bad. The reason I rated 3 stars is because I feel like they have very poor customer service. There will be one person at the cash register and 10 people in line and 2 workers at the front not helping and just leave and go to the back. To me that means they don't care enough to get you service or open another register.

We may not have many of the wonderful old hardware stores any more, but Ace Hardware is pretty terrific in it's own right.Well organized, clean, well lighted, friendly, well informed staff. Extremely kind, helpful management. If you're like me, sometimes you look at an item and have more questions than answers. There are people available with answers here.One caveat; Read the front, back and inside of every purchase. I bought a faucet set at Ace(could've been anywhere though).Info on the back stated that thelining of faucet could contaminate your water with lead and other chemicals. This was, I think, by California standards.Thirty years ago I lived in California; have friends that still do. They're hardly the bug-eyed crazies the midwest sometimes casts them as. I Took the faucet back to Ace. They were great about returning it, and offer any number of alternatives that *don't* have the option of poisoning your water supply 🙂.

The prices here are a little high to begin with and then the tax rate makes it even more painful HOWEVER, they do seem to have a very good selection and a pretty helpful staff. The store remains well stocked and in very good order. I'm pleasantly surprised by the fastener selection from a small town location. It has to be worth something to have so much "at the ready" I guess.

The highlight here is the helpful staff and the wide variety of stuff you won't find in other places, even in the bigger box retailers. In spring and summer, they supplement their offerings inside with a variety of outdoor offerings, a good variety of floral and garden plants available, as well as lawn decor and outdoor living products.

Great selection for any any project around the house or the shop with a with the added bonus of at least 15 minutes needed to browse items.ie grilling and specialty items you won't find everywhere

This is THE place to go to pay 30% more than if you made the trip to Lowes or Home Depot. But they do have plenty of grills since about a fourth of their floorspace is devoted to them.

Great choice and variety. Get best of both worlds can shop at Dollar Tree next door as well. I don't know what I would do without this store in town.

Recently rearranged the tool section, made it much easier to find what you need. The hardware section has what I need almost every time, and the window repair service did am excellent job
