I am not a fan of Walmart generally speaking but I have to admit this location is the cleanest FRIENDLIEST location I think I've ever visited. Well stocked, orderly, clean and the folks are genuinely helpful. I'm actually pretty surprised based on the other Walmart experiences I've ever had. 😁👍

Typical Wal-Mart store interchangeable with others anywhere else. Low prices, great selection. The place that they shine is the garden center with plants that are well cared for. Looking forward to spring and warmer weather.

I can't believe what kind of environment this Walmart tries to create. I found this on social media and figured out which store this employee works at. After finding the location, I went to this walmart myself just to verify that this employee still works here, and THEY DO!! THIS WALMART IS EMPLOYEEING COMMUNISTS! And they ALLOW them to proudly wear their propaganda-infested accessories! Walmart SHOULD NOT be allowing this in a country that has been fighting communism for over 50 years!! I will not be coming back to this Walmart, I am not sure if I will ever return to Walmart if they're going to allow these type of people to work here.

Hey!!! Tonight I had a nice check out person yes person!!! Named Ham... it was so nice to have a live human with a good personality to interact with.. This can make the day... I hate self check out and I know others who feel the same...its totally worth the extra few minutes to have the personal touch... A+ Ham for smile, good communication skills its just the topping to the cake! Thank you!

The place is much cleaner and better kept than some Wichita Walmarts. Staples on the shelves were bare but I'd attribute that to Covid supply chain issues and even more so to the winter storm that's brewing tonight.

I don't work for Walmart and bieng the largest Corp in the world should staff more cashiers. There is rarely more than 2 cashier lanes open forging you to use self checkout. There should be a discount or rewards system for self checkout.

There was only 1 person working customer service on payday. Ended up going to ATM instead.Update, I go here pretty frequently and it is alright. Usually has the things I am looking for and employees.are generally friendly. Except loss prevention and they still follow me around even though I've been here 2to 3 times a week for last 7 years. Lol.11/22/23 update. Still shop here. Still get watched but not as much. The self checkout workers awesome. Have gotten my phone or wallet back from them after leaving it at the register several times. THANK YOU GLENDA!!! She really is awesome for sure.

I lost count of how many Walmarts and Marshall’s have saved me when I move in every single time.…This place is the best one so far. Why?…This place is the home run after arriving to Kansas with a track record of purely urban, bus-assisted cities and fully furnished apartments. A new experience for me, really. Improvise, adapt… overcome.…Need a bike, last minute furniture, stationery, chairs for? Walmart. Record time errands.…The merchandise might not be specific to a need, but it is a good one-size-fits-all solution for 80% of my demands. Also… great place for groceries.…I also like how the staff answers my questions in enough detail and with patience despite how elemental, complex and redundant my questions may be.…Also, they usually have art supplies and this is also true for the one in St. Louis, MO. No regrets.

Typical Walmart store. Usually order online through the app and pickup at the store. I've been really impressed with the accuracy of the online orders and the manager. The folks bringing the orders out and loading them in the vehicle have also been friendly and positive folks.

This Walmart has good clearance prices. They usually have stock in the items I use, and I appreciate the convenience of their grocery pickup.

Went for an oil change and new front drivers side tire was told 1 hour and 30 minutes. Looked at the time it was 12 and said okay. Did some shopping waited till almost 3pm for the oil change and tire to replaced. Lady that at register had me waiting the whole time laughing under her breath. Was rude to me. I kept my cool and let her be rude and paid and left. Will not be returning.

Great products at fantastic prices. With the recent addition of W+, and 2 day shipping, Walmart now gives Amazon Prime a run for their money! It will be nice when home delivery becomes available in my area.

My husband was there around 9am and we had to walk around for 30 mins to find someone that worked there to help us in the electronic and lawn and garden department. When we finally found what we needed on our own. As I was walking out all the employees was in a meeting up front in the lay way. They should arrive earlier to have there meetings, so the employees can be out on the floor to help customers by 8am. Just have I feel about it!

We had pictures developed. The associate who helped us didn't cut our pictures and flipped through and looked at each of them in front of us. We can cut our own pics, no problem. But the fact that he was genuinely looking through our photos, in front of us, was a little unsettling.

With all the rearranging of the merchandise, it was refreshing to be approached TWICE by two different employees as soon as they saw I was lost. They lost a star because I hate working for free by forcing me to check myself out... But they got it back with friendly service that makes you feel like this is your store.

I SORELY miss the days of 24hr shopping, any time before midnight is horribly anxiety inducing, and for the last few months, shelf inventory all over the store has been sold out and not restocked. That being said, Ark City Walmart is my preferred location anywhere in the area, and the employees are almost always friendly and helpful. Watch out for the clearance isle, some items have nice discounts, and then you find pricey items that are actually only like $0.30 off, even damaged or open.

If you shop at Any of the Walmart's across the US, pay attention on PRICING and if your items Ring up the Correct price. I have been in the Arkansas City, Ks. store twice this week for my daughter. One of my Grand kids Zipper on his Coat broke and needed me to get her another one. When she pulled it up on the Walmart app, it said they had some and they had been reduced from $40.00 to 23.00. The sign on the Rack said they was the $23.00 but when I went to pay for it, it rang up $40.00 and I am Glad I was paying attention when it rang up. The Checker calledWill M. over and he checked it with his PC and sure enough it was suppose to be the $23.00 and that's a HUGE DIFFERENCE. I really appreciated Will taking the time to Help out and then he took me to Customer Service to get it taken care of. Just want Everyone to know that somethings aren't ringing up the Correct Price. Thanks again to Will P. for stepping up to correct the issue. It's Very Obvious they aren't double checking the items and scanning them when they make Price changes. I worked for Walmart's Major competition for 35 yrs. When prices changed, they change the sign or shelf tag and Scan the item to make sure it Scans the Correct Price.

Being handicapped it's frustrating to go shopping and find no power carts at the entrance. One man, told me a week ago, to go down to the other entrance see if there are power carts there. Having to walk all that way was not good for me. Today there were no power carts at the entrance. The lady apologized and she went to look for me. Now that's service. And she returned with a power cart. Thanks.

Only 3 self checkouts working waiting 15 minutes to check out. Only 1 cashier in place. Go somewhere else if you can.Update: their order online pick up in store process is horrible. No one working the desk. The person working the self checkout told I had to go get someone. Why couldn't she call or radio another associate? Then after finding someone, had to wait for another person. Not very convenient.
